"What is it that got you so excited?" I laughed.
"They're doing variety shows and I'm going to be the host of one of the more interesting ones! I've never hosted a show before, but it seed fun, so I asked around and got the job!"

"Don't say that, why should I go around bothering soone's who's pregnant? You should be resting."

The four fully grown n who were playing gas turned around as they freaked out from Feng Ge's exclamation.

"So?" I doubt that they knew a thing about pregnancy...
"He's having the baby in 5 months, not 9 months! This is way quicker than expected!"
"Oh. Congratulations!" ng Duo, being clueless spoke up.
"No you dummy, this doesn't give him enough ti to prepare for anything!" Feng Ge scread.
The situation was getting out of hand, so I quickly placated the fuming frustrated man.
"Feng Ge, I'm alright. Besides, it's good that the child is coming quicker than normal, I'll get to see it sooner. And since it kicks a lot, I have no doubts that it's a healthy child."
"Ugh, you're too relaxed about this. Who knows when you'll have the kid? Like, it could be right now! Also-"
Feng Ge kept on rolling on and on but I couldn't hear him.
My stomach hurt really bad.
Feng Ge, you jinx.
"Huh? Shui Jing!" a faint voice could be heard.
"I'll call Chief! Soone contact Shui Jing's husband!"

It felt really weird.
I heard a crash and many footsteps.
I couldn't focus on the voices and only noticed after so ti that I was being carried on a stretcher.
Then, I was settled down into a room where nothing could be heard except for murmurs and beeps.
Suddenly, a loud noise clapped down and Xiao Yu appeared in front of my face.
"Ge, quickly choose one. Surgery or natural birth?"
I couldn't help but laugh.
In this chaotic situation, I was a little dizzy but could perceive things.
Xiao Yu really was calm in all kinds of situations.
"Natural birth."

After I got out of my dizzy spell, I was transported into another room.

It's been about 3 days.
I can still rember how frantic Lu Han's face looked as he ca in just before my labour and held my hand for a brief while.
I think he was crying too, and he even cried afterward.
Xiao Yu personally watched over the process when I gave birth and he was the one who cut the cord and everything.
Giving birth was pretty smooth but long. I gave a couple of pushes and out ca the baby after about 4 hours. Doctors told that usually, first-ti mothers gave birth after about 8 hours and the longest was 18 hours. I shivered at the hellish thought. Mothers are very strong creatures...
The epidural was a lot of help.
Xiao Yu, being the most advanced water ability user in the base, helped heal up internally and externally. Thankfully he was there, or else I couldn't imagine how my torn ass would've held out.
I was thankful that after giving birth, Lu Han ca to first and hugged . He cried and I couldn't hear what he was saying through his sobbing.
It was nice to see him so concerned but it was kind of funny to see him crying. I've never seen him cry before, so it was a novelty.
The baby was a little girl. My little princess.
Like all newborn babies, she ca out all red and wrinkly. She had a tuft of hair that was light brown just like her Dad.
Her fingers were so small and her whole hand could barely grasp my finger.
This small life was sothing I created. I couldn't help but take pride in that.
She was healthy and beautiful.
Xiao Yu, who was now her uncle, nad her Shui Bao, Bao for treasure.
Ah Bao's grandma, Irene, also wanted the chance to na her granddaughter but didn't get a chance, so she gave Ah Bao an English na.
At that ti, Irene's group of friends was also in the hospital admiring my baby, and one french lady said, "She's the darling of the heavens! How adorable! My kid looked so ugly when she was born!"
In French, darling of the heavens was pronounced "Chrie des cieux". Irene, therefore, nad her Sherry.
On the third day, we were allowed to take Ah Bao from the hospital and bring her ho.
The personnel that Lu Han had assigned were sent away since he found out that they didn't really help out considering that I road around and didn't want to be monitored. And instead of having others help out with the baby, he wanted to take care of the baby himself.
We thought that taking care of Ah Bao would be easy since she was such a quiet baby who didn't cry much.
We were so wrong.
Parenthood is difficult damn it.
