’What?’ Terrence’s forehead creased as he watched the news report on their television. He was on the edge of his seat.
Terrence’s eyes didn’t leave the television as they showed blurred pics of the victim’s body. With this, he learned that yesterday, they found one more body in the middle of the woods.
And it was the sa with the corpse that they saw.
However, what baffled the authorities was the intention of the murder and the murderer. They couldn’t find anything to help the case except for the person yesterday. However the man refused to talk.
’This feels like...’ Terrence tilted his head to the side. Why does it feel like it was all similar from what happened in his previous life, when the HNT virus was just recently discovered?

’But that’s still 11 months away...’ Terrence thought ass he counted the numbers on his hand.
"Oh my! This had beco serious! I looked at the news and there were 6 deaths related to that one. The most recent was the two that they found yesterday." Tiana exclaid in horror.
There were other cases of murders like this for the past 2 weeks already, however, the authorities only beca this interested in the case when they found out about the two bodies yesterday.
She tilted her head to the side. "I hope they catch the murderer soon before he can even kill more people. The reports of the bite marks are horrifying." Tiana added in.
It seed like a work of a serial killer and a cannibal at the sa ti.
It was their first ti hearing such way of death.
"Mom, when did the news got released?" Terrence quickly glanced to Tiana.
Tiana looked at her phone. She slightly squinted her eyes as she scrolled through the news articles. "Just an hour ago." she uttered.
"I’ll go to my room." Terrence stood up and directly went to his room after hearing an answer. This left Tiana in confusion.
When Terrence went inside his room, he quickly took a notebook and a pen. He sat on the bed and looked at the notebook in his hands.
"Why do I feel like this is sohow familiar to the report of the HNT virus before it was discovered?" Terrence uttered in confusion.
When the deaths of the animals surfaced back then in his past life, the people speculated that it was a serial killer who did it too.
After all, that was the only logical explanation for this.
’I need to clearly rember what happened back then.’ His forehead creased. He closed his eyes and held onto the pen tightly.
He started to write down dates and what happened at that ti.
"March 14 – First News of The Animal’s Death."
"July 3 – The case was closed because there was no evidence."
"October 28 – A surge in the Animal’s death resurfaced, but not it beca more apparent."
"December 13 – Different farrs suddenly lost almost half of their crops following the animal’s death."
"Feb 27 – The HNT virus as discovered."
Terrence tilted his head to the side after reading what he have written down. That was all the dates that he could rember regarding the HNT virus.
’But why is it with people now?" Terrence played with the ballpen in his hand. He held unto it tightly.
"Did it changed?" he unsurely asked.
He does not want to think badly about it. However, with the looks of it, the deaths of the people weren’t only a simple matter.
Terrence decided to look for more information about the news.
He opened his social dia app and looked at different news articles regarding it.
"This shit is wild."
There were hundreds of new articles that ca up when he searched what happened earlier. This must be the hottest news in their country right now.
However, as Terrence read and opened the news articles one by one, he was disappointed that all of them were just the sa as what was broadcasted earlier. So articles just added their own speculation to it.
So of the speculations were that it was done by a serial killer, a psychopath, an act of cannibalism and so on.
Terrence gave up after a while. The only thing that he learned was that there were no evidence that could help on the investigation.
They needed the man yesterday who attacked Terrence.
Terrence felt uneasy as he thought of it more. He glanced at his phone. A sigh escaped from his lips.
Terrence knew that the only thing he could do now was to talk to Natalie about it. He hoped to get more information from her.
Terrence took a deep breath. He opened his phone and looked for Natalie’s na on his contact list.
It was already night but he hoped that he would answer his call.
Terrence pressed for the call button and waited.
"Hello, Terrence."
It only took 3 rings before Natalie answered the call.
Terrence smiled after hearing Natalie’s boys.
"Hi, Natalie. Sorry for calling this late." He apologized first.
"No, no, it’s okay. I was just flustered when I saw your na on my phone." Natalie answered in a hurry.
Terrence chuckled.
"Did you hear the news?" Terrence curiously asked.
Terrence wanted to know first whether Natalie knew about it before he asked anything.
It would be awkward if they weren’t on the sa page at all.
"Yup. I heard about it... Is that why you called?"
