Everything is a disaster, as much as I insisted Leon and Alice to give up this stupid idea of fighting the new Umbrella leader they did not listen to , they are both obsessed with the idea that that teenager from Japan is a second Wesker but I understand that this is not the case, that teenager is a good leader but at the sa ti, he is more dangerous than Wesker.
The spy network that I managed to get into his territory gave enough information to notice sothing, that boy is the future of humanity.
An absolute governnt that despite being authoritarian is really helping the common people, all the citizens under its care are prospering and even most of my spies turned their backs on to join that boy and if it were not because every spy does not know the identity of his companions I am sure they would have betrayed the other spies.
Despite the fact that every day my information network gets smaller, just knowing that this boy nad Luis has the strength to destroy an army with his own hands makes know that if we continue fighting we will all be killed.
I am concerned about Leon's safety, but I must also secure my own life so I prepared a plan to et the boy who seems to be rebuilding the world.
I made preparations, thought of many scenarios, and was guided by the information I collected about his personality, but now I realize, it was all a mask.

I walked with calm steps trying to hide my anxiety, I think I understood the type of person Luis is so I can't make a mistake or my life will be in danger.

Luis's words had no threats, his body language was harmless, even the way he held my waist felt warm and friendly, which in my current state of ntal weakness made feel safe.

The way the mind works is strange, rationally I know that I am unfairly blaming Leon since he only wants the best for the world, but emotionally I feel so vulnerable that only the embrace of who should be my enemy can give comfort.
I took a deep breath and no longer cared if Leon is still on the video call or not, I hugged Luis and kissed him deeply.
I need to forget this sick feeling of guilt, pain, and regret, I just want to forget.

(Luis perspective)
When Leon cut the call I stopped acting like a pretentious idiot as it was too disgusting to have the attitude of a spoiled rich kid.

I want to applaud the magnificent demonstration of survival instinct that Ada is showing, she is the kind of person who would stab the back of her loved ones in order to achieve her goals and stay alive.
Contrary to what a sane person would feel, I love won who for the sake of their ambitions are willing to crawl through the most disgusting shit and the deepest darkness, that desire to succeed and survive to the point of giving up anything it's a beautiful thing.
To a woman like that, when you can steal her heart completely, it is possible that she begins to prioritize your desires over her own life, which, although it sounds nice, if not handled well can create a dangerous woman who will try to murder everyone person around you, I know because I have already made a couple of mistakes in dealing with these types of won.

Sorry for not publishing a chapter yesterday, my mother got sick with the flu (I want to believe) and I have been taking care of her.
Today we went to get tested for Covid but the tests are over so I will have to look elsewhere.
I caught the flu myself (I want to believe) so things are a problem since it is just and my mother.
Anyway, I don't feel so bad so I can keep writing, just that I'll do it a little more slowly.
