Ren's POV:
"So what are you—" I was cut off mid-sentence before I could even complete what I was saying.
"Ruu~ dinner is ready! Co down," Mom called downstairs.
Sigh.
"Well, it looks like Mom's back. We can continue this talk after dinner. Until then, stay inside the room," I said to Blaze. I didn't want my parents to know that I own a mythical-grade talking puppet that I summoned by performing a demon cultist-like ritual.
Sigh.
"Whoa—"
Zoop.
Blaze's silhouette disappeared from my vision, and it flew inside my chest like a ghost or sothing.
"I don't have to stay inside your room when I have this cozy room all for myself," Blaze's heavy voice resounded inside my mind, scaring the shit out of .
"You truly are parasitic," I thought. He is connected to by mind and lives off by scraping mana out of my mana core to maintain his physical form.
"Hey! Trying to pick a fight with , pretty boy~?" Blaze responded through our minds. It looks like I can communicate with him through my mind.
"Cool, right?" Blaze sounded a little too hyped.
"Yeah, yeah, but keep quiet and stop talking until I tell you," I commanded.
It's surprising and annoying at the sa ti to get responses through your own mind.
"Aye aye, Princess~" Blaze said. I could sense him giggling while saying this.
"And stop calling with weird nas," I said. Why was I getting bullied by a palm-sized smoke sphere?
"It's not my fault that you are pretty, Princess~" Blaze said.
Tremble.
"Fuck this mind transmission!" I could feel myself furrowing. Without taking this any further, I walked downstairs since Mom and Dad would be waiting for at the dinner table.
After dinner, I returned to my room and closed the door tightly. Thankfully, Blaze didn't show up in front of my parents, and he also didn't send any mind transmissions.
Plop.
"Blaze, you can co out now," I said as I plopped down on the chair that I pulled away from my desk. It's still covered in blood, and I have to clean it, or Mom would be terrified by the re sight of it.
"Haa, it's difficult to keep quiet," Blaze said. I saw so hazy crimson smoke arising from my chest. Soon, it ford a will-o-wisp-like shape with a weird face.
"I know. Well, tell about yourself. I didn't know that there was sothing trapped inside that dagger," I asked. There are a lot of questions that I have about the appearance of Blaze, so I went ahead and asked him about it.
"Well, there are so many things that I wanted to know about you, actually. But let's start with for now," Blaze sighed. He said he wanted to know about . I don't know why.
"Then let's begin with your story, Smokeball," I said, retorting to sum up all that pretty boy thing he said earlier to .
"Smokeball, huh? Well, okay, Princess~" Blaze called Princess again.
"I don't know why, but I feel like I am arguing with myself," I thought.
"And that's all there is to tell about my story. Any further inquiries?" Blaze asked verbally since I told him to talk to like this and not to use mind transmission. That freaks out.
I couldn't respond to him. There were a lot of things that I heard for the first ti, even if I've played the ga multiple tis and thought I knew everything about this world
. But Blaze's story was completely out of my knowledge and made rethink this whole world itself.
"But they are literally confusing to ," I thought.
"Hey!! I heard that one. Keep your thoughts under the ter," Blaze said. He is having fun while reading my thoughts, and I have reciprocal feelings about all this.
"Well, I don't care," I thought.
"You should care about a little more, pretty boy~" Blaze responded like a grumpy old man to my thoughts, teasing . But this ti, he responded verbally as I requested.
Sigh.
First thing is that Klashier and Blaze aren't like any other living beings. They were not born but created by so unknown entity whose identity Blaze doesn't know since that entity disappeared after creating these two.
But creating them was a mistake. The creator wanted them to be great weapons that can help mortals grow themselves, but Klashier and Blaze's pair is like magnetic poles. While they are of the sa origin, they repel each other. They balance one another but also conflict with each other.
The major difference between Klashier and Blaze is that Klashier is a top-tier spiritual beast, while Blaze is... well, he is a useless and useful weapon at the sa ti, I thought and imdiately regretted it.
"I heard that one. Apologize right now," Blaze said, and I ignored him.
"So when I say useless and useful at the sa ti, I an that Blaze is a different type of weapon that wasn't introduced in the ga but exists in this universe.
Blaze's power is equivalent to the power of the being using him. In my eyes, it was fine, but when Blaze explained the whole scenario to , I was shocked.
If Klashier is contracted by a common person or a high blood elf, his strength will be the sa with limitations. On the other hand, Blaze's power is limitless. It's only on the person holding him that his power is based. This made every powerful individual, including even gods themselves, greedy for his power, causing wars on the surface of the earth, mass destruction, and massive loss of livestock just to achieve Blaze.
That led so gods to the decision of sealing Blaze away in the dinsional rift between heaven and earth. And Klashier was like the other half of Blaze, so they had to seal him with Blaze, or the seal might not work, and Blaze could've set himself free, causing ripples in the world's balance. Gods created a pair of daggers to tear between these dinsions. For making the daggers, they used the bones of a silver-scaled dragon. It is the only being that can tear through space and ti, so they used the molars of a silver-scaled dragon. And of course, for this purpose, they killed the last silver-scaled dragon and vanished their whole species.
"I think that was worth it," I thought quite immorally. They killed one and saved millions, so I think that was inevitable.
"Hey! You are being insensitive towards that silver-scaled dragon," Blaze roared at .
The daggers were like keys to this dinsional rift. They helped gods trap Blaze and Klashier. And after their goal was achieved, they tossed these daggers aside. They found no worth in keeping them, so they appointed a guardian to protect the daggers.
After two hundred years, Mrs. Marilyn sohow found one of the daggers and brought it with her, and it eventually was passed down to .
"How lucky I am. I must thank Mrs. Marilyn for such a wonderful present," I said. Indeed, I was lucky because who would have imagined that I could get a weapon that even gods desire?
"Oh my, now tell who is the parasite, Princess Ruu~" Blaze teased again, calling by my nickna that Mrs. Marilyn used very often.
"Then where is Klashier now?" I asked. By the storyline, the one who is released first is Klashier, but here it was Blaze who appeared from the dagger, so it was obvious that soone already summoned him using the other dagger, but who?
"I don't know who got my brother out from that damn trap, but I know that person is a strong being since I could sense his aura even inside the dinsional rift," Blaze answered.
"Well, that's saddening," I said, as I hoped that Blaze would know where the second dagger is and we can collect it.
"But you still have , right?" Blaze questioned with a troubled voice.
"Because your strength is going to be equivalent to my strength. And for your kind information, I am a human and a commoner at that, so there is a limit to my bloodline potential," I said. The bloodline potential is a big card in play since it determines your potential and how much you can grow in terms of mana arts and all that stuff.
Pffffffff.
Suddenly, Blaze started laughing and twirling in the air as if he had heard a hilarious joke.
"Why are you laughing, Smokeball?" I asked.
Fuuu.
Blaze breathed deeply and cald himself. He looked in the eyes and said, "I think I have a solution for this bloodline problem, Princess~." I could see him smirking at , and I didn't have a good feeling about this.
