Chapter 785: 334. Zhang San: I suspect the Boss has defected.

On February 5th, the Bobcats returned to their ho court and easily defeated the Celtics 107 to 92 in a back-to-back ho ga.

Zhang Yang played 29 minutes tonight, making 7 of 16 shots, missing all 3 three-pointers, and scoring 21 points, 2 rebounds, and 7 assists with 7 of 8 free throws.

He was double-tead quite aggressively tonight. The opponent’s defense was very random, choosing to double-team whoever they wanted, and Rivers didn’t intervene.

Collecting 7 assists in less than 30 minutes, this assist efficiency is his second highest in over 40 gas this season, with the highest being when he got a triple-double against the Nuggets.

The Celtics have been one of the most discussed teams by players this season. After the ga, the Bobcats players were also talking about the Celtics.

Zhang Yang: “Going from 12 wins and 14 losses to 16 wins and 33 losses, how badly do they want a high draft pick? It’s ruthless.”

Millsap: “Every one of their forwards is stronger than , yet their performance is so poor.”

Felton: “Paul, don’t underestimate yourself too much. I think you’re better than all those forwards, and Jack also said you’ll achieve greater things than those guys.”

Millsap perked up imdiately upon hearing this. Boss’s words were comforting, but if Brother Three said this, then he surely had strengths he hadn’t even discovered in himself compared to those guys.

Can’t bla him for feeling inferior facing the Celtics’ talented forward lineup. Just looking at that group puts things in perspective.

Rookie Jeff Green, touted as the next Odom during the draft.

Al Jefferson, called a young Malone during the draft.

Ryan Gos, thought to be a lottery pick during his 2005 draft year, but due to an awkward position and advanced age, fell to the late second round. However, he averaged 7 points and 5 rebounds as a rookie in the NBA, improving to 12 points and 6 rebounds last season.

Josh Smith, claid to have talent akin to Jas during the draft.

Marvin Williams and Adam Morrison need no further introduction, top three picks.

Faced with such players as a sophomore, Millsap couldn’t help but feel a lack of confidence… along with a touch of schadenfreude.

This cluster of forwards certainly ans so will fail.

ntioning this, Zhang Yang lanted, “It’s really a pity about the Celtics’ group of forward talents. Ainge is unwilling to sell them at too low a price. So teams want Jeff Green, but they’re asking for two first-round picks. They might have been able to sell for that price when they just drafted Jeff Green last sumr, but now other teams might offer a mid-to-late first-round pick at best. A lottery pick is absolutely not sothing any team would be willing to give…”

Hill: “The Celtics’ strategy is still very clear, focusing on Josh Smith and Al Jefferson, fully developing these two most potential forwards. As for the others, they don’t have the energy to manage them, so they can only try to sell them for the best price. After all, developing rookies requires playing ti, shot opportunities, and also demands a lot of the managent and coaching staff’s ti and energy.

Players like Jack and Eka, who don’t require coaching attention, are too rare. Because of your unique traits, our coaching staff has the confidence to develop Raymond, Paul, Rajon, Aaron, Alan, and others. Otherwise, we would also have many talents buried and wasted.”

Felton nodded upon hearing this, acknowledging that Zhang Yang and Okafor were indeed the least worriso players for coaches… Wait a minute!

Fatty: Why am I not among the players with such traits? Alright, Grant, Boss rembers you now; I’ll write it in my little notebook so I won’t forget.

After finishing their back-to-back gas against the Wizards and the Celtics, the Bobcats players felt noticeably more relaxed.

The most difficult phase of mid-season had finally passed!

They had played 48 gas so far, with as many as 26 on the road, four more away gas than ho gas, mainly concentrated in two consecutive road trips, first a Southwest Division 4-ga road trip, and then a Pacific Division plus Nuggets 5-ga road trip, a total of 22 gas in the mid-season, with these long road trips accounting for 9 gas.

Even though they had to play four gas in the next six days after resting for a day, but at least they were all ho gas, sparing them long travels.

On the next morning, the league announced last week’s Player of the Week.

Last week, Zhang Yang played four gas with a 3-1 record, averaging 29.75 points and 4.75 assists, with a glimr of hope… but didn’t win, losing to Turkoglu.

Turkoglu averaged 20 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 6.5 assists last week, making 14 three-pointers over four gas and leading the Magic Team to a 4-0 record, improving their record to 31 wins and 17 losses.

In the Western Conference, Zhang Yang saw a long-unseen na—McGrady.

Last week, McGrady led the Rockets to a 3-1 record, averaging 25.5 points, 5 rebounds, 7.3 assists, 0.5 steals, and 0.5 blocks.

In the first two months of competition, McGrady often made news for his outstanding performances, but by January, when Zhang Yang saw McGrady in the news, it was injuries, a return, inability to return, continued absence, finally returning, and then getting injured again…

Witnessing this chapter of youth pass once more, Zhang Yang felt a bit sentintal.

At noon, the league announced the detailed participant list for All-Star weekend.

Zhang Yang was most concerned, of course, about the reserve lineup.

Unfortunately, in the position-heavy East, there was no suspense that Felton was not selected.

Billups, Hamilton, Hinrich, Jamison, Bosh, Rasheed Wallace, and Howard tead up with Wade, Zhang Yang, Jas, Okafor, and Yao Ming to form the Eastern All-Star lineup.
