The turnaround victory thrilled the Compton High School players.

Beating the third-ranked team while ranked ninth was certainly a cause for excitent.

Human joys and sorrows are not interconnected, the seventeen and eighteen-year-old players from Millikan High School were ntally devastated, but for the others, it was tolerable.
