The Lakers’ victory over the Trail Blazers is a good thing for both the Lakers and the Mavericks.

As the regular season ends, various rankings, award predictions, and first-round matchup predictions have been released.

Since midseason, Zhang Yang, who frequently had gas with 20 missed shots, also soared in scoring. By the end of the regular season, his career regular-season gas with 20 missed shots temporarily stopped at 19 tis, adding 7 tis this season, more than the last two seasons... Ultimately, his average points per ga ended at 31.5, surpassing Durant’s 30.8 and Anthony’s 30.7, winning the scoring title for the third consecutive year!

Howard averaged 13.5 rebounds to take the rebounding title, Nash averaged 11.5 assists to take the assists title, Zhang Yang averaged 2.9 steals to take the steals title, and Howard averaged 2.7 blocks to take the blocks title.

In the three-point rankings, Zhang Yang was far ahead, attempting 8.5 shots per ga and hitting 3.5 threes at a 41.2% rate. No other team had an average of more than 3 three-pointers per ga this season.

The second place... Curry, attempted 8 three-pointers per ga, hitting 2.9 at a 36.25% rate!

By the end of 2009, Curry’s three-point shooting rate had fallen below 35%. Normally, rookies’ shooting percentages decrease gradually, even for those as capable as Evans or Mayo. Although Curry’s overall shooting percentage indeed declined, with significant fluctuations in mid-range and under the basket in the latter part of the season, his three-point shooting rose against the trend, improving from 35% to over 36%!

Throwing an average of 8 threes per ga seems to be Curry’s current limit, unable to throw more. However, the nearly two-percentage-point increase allowed him to surpass Ray Allen’s average of 2.8 threes, climbing to second in the three-point rankings!

However, Ray Allen, who averaged 2.8 threes, only attempted 6.2 three-pointers per ga, with a shooting percentage of 45.1%, second only to the Kings’ small forward Korver at 46.9%.

Throughout the NBA, those who attempt many threes while maintaining a high shooting percentage are still only Zhang Yang and Ray Allen.

But this is enough to make people view Curry differently. Zhang Yang’s success paved a broader path for Curry’s early career, allowing the Knicks to tolerate his once below 35% shooting percentage.

Simultaneously, Curry has beco a target for many opponents—if they can’t get to Zhang San, can’t they go for you, little kid?

Of course, Curry being targeted so much this season is also because he’s in New York. The high exposure and easy award opportunities are the benefits of being in New York, but it also makes him an eyesore for other stars.

In terms of award predictions, on the morning of the 22nd, the day after the league announced the latest monthly awards, the suspense over the three major awards had vanished.

Jas defeated Zhang Yang and Howard to win the Eastern Conference Player of the Month award for April, and Durant defeated Kobe and Nash to win the Western Conference Player of the Month award.

With four Player of the Month awards, average stats of 27 8 8, and a record of first in the East, second in the league, Jas’s MVP is basically secured.

Howard dominated the Defensive Player of the Year race. Initially, Duncan had strong calls for Defensive Player of the Year, but after his playing ti decreased, he was out of the conversation.

Evans, dominating the rookie rankings, played 80 gas, averaging 20.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, 6 assists, and 1.5 steals. His shooting percentage dropped from 47% at the start of the season but still perford admirably at 45.3%.

However, while April’s Player of the Month brought Jas closer to MVP, it also stirred controversy, alongside Durant.

The favoritism was a bit too obvious this ti. Durant’s performance in April showed his youth, averaging ’only’ 28 points over 10 gas, dropping from a 31 average to 30.8. Rose had more stamina in the latter part of the season.

But mainly because the Lakers went 9-0 in April, with Kobe averaging 30 points.

Jas’s April record wasn’t as good as Zhang Yang, and he was outright beaten by Howard in the final ga.

So dia are hyping Jas securing the MVP while others are questioning if he can get past the second round.

So Cavaliers fans have already turned into ’60s Celtics fans, even using the sa IP, expressing hope that the Celtics can defeat the Magic Team in the first round.

Being first in the East makes people worry if they can get past the second round. No one is even discussing their championship prospects, and in the West, the public opinion is even harsher.

The probability of the Thunder Team pulling off an upset as the eighth seed is high!

Last season, the Spurs were also first in the West but got upset by the Jazz Team in the first round, and Nowitzki gained so sympathy.

This season, with Rose Durant, tead with DeAndre Jordan, Krstic, Muhammad in the paint, and Shawn Livingston, the sixth man picked up from the Clippers for nothing... Yes, the Clippers did it again. Gui Gui stepped up, and with an untradable big contract, Sterling, looking to cut costs, donated Livingston, who was in the second year of a four-year, $28 million contract signed in 2008, to the Thunder Team for free.

This trade during the All-Star weekend surprised many teams, especially those needing a core point guard for rebuilding. Livingston wasn’t even 25! He averaged 10.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 4.2 assists over 50 gas as a backup for the Clippers, much to the envy of many teams who never imagined the Clippers would trade him so easily, and for such a price.

To reduce salary with expiring small contracts, the Clippers could have announced it. They not only provided small contracts but also added two draft picks.

Sources revealed that the Thunder Team lacked quality guards, allowing Durant to return to the small forward position. A tentative offer was made, prepared to give 1-2 first-round picks. First-round picks aren’t as valuable anymore, and yet the Clippers wanted nothing but to reduce salary.
