In the 8th year of his career, Chandler, now 27 years old, still shows no sign of his ’talent being fulfilled.’ So far this season, he’s averaging 34 minutes per ga, with stats of 8.6 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks.

31-year-old Peja is experiencing a cliff-like decline, barely making it through a month with a shooting rate of 38%. For a shooter who relies on movent, that’s way off the mark, averaging just 11.8 points, the lowest since his rookie season.

Devin Brown, Rasual Butler, Morris Peterson, and new addition Antonio Daniels... all these players are hitting career lows in performance.

As for Paul, his personal performance has improved compared to last season, with averages of 22.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 11.2 assists, and 3 steals per ga since the start of the season, with a shooting percentage of 51%. His playing ti has also reached a career high, averaging exactly 40 minutes per ga, which is almost bleeding him dry. However, after 15 gas, the Hornets are 8-7, tenth in the Western Conference... it’s no wonder he’s full of resentnt.

Zhang Yang, upon seeing Paul’s statistics in the Hornets scouting report that afternoon, figured that Little Cannon’s subsequent severe injuries must have a lot to do with his playing style. Like the Bulls version of Rose, his knees couldn’t take it, but given the Hornets’ situation this season and the brutal competitive environnt in the Western Conference, Little Cannon is forced to fight desperately every ga, undoubtedly accelerating the rate of injury.

Such matters, Zhang Yang would listen and let it be, without comnting on Paul’s teammates. He can be concerned about whether Paul’s playing style would lead to injury, but he doesn’t actively suggest anything, as it would not help and might also create alienation.

On the next evening, the Bobcats faced their final battle of the first month of gas, hosting the Hornets.

Just like the Nuggets Team, the Hornets have also undergone significant changes in style compared to the last ti they faced the Bobcats.

The forr went all-in on their ’Ultimate Three-Gun’ strategy, pressing the accelerator on their ’track and field flow’ play style to the floor, while the latter was forced to continuously adjust due to the declining status of several players.

However, in both cases, the changes exhibited by the teams during the ga exceeded the Bobcats’ prega preparations and played out quite differently from what they expected. Tonight, Little Cannon, seeing the ’Fat Brothers,’ played with great effort, leading his teammates to a very explosive start.

Fortunately, the Bobcats learned from their last ga. Zhang Yang, Felton, and Okafor led the team in sticking to their own team’s offensive and defensive plans, taking shots when necessary, defending when needed, and consuming as required.

After enduring the Hornets’ initial explosive offensive phase, the war of attrition took effect, and from the middle of the second quarter, the Bobcats gradually seized the initiative. By the third quarter, led by Felton’s consecutive scoring against Paul, they achieved a 32 to 24 single-quarter score, coming back from an 11-point deficit in the first quarter and an 8-point deficit at halfti, to tie the Hornets at 81 all by the end of the third quarter!

Felton scored 23 points and 5 assists in three quarters, and with an impressive shooting rate of 12 out of 8, leaving Paul on the brink of a breakdown when he rallied the team to tie the ga.

Little Cannon: Are these fat guys done or what!

Zhang Yang also perford well tonight, shooting 7 of 15, including 2 of 5 from three-point territory, and making 2 of 2 free throws, scoring 18 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists in three quarters under Jas Posey’s defense, providing strong support to Felton, tonight’s main offensive point.

After equalizing the score, the Bobcats completely controlled the ga. Starting the final quarter, Felton continued to penetrate and pass, with Zhang Yang and Mike Miller each scoring two three-pointers, leading a 12 to 5 run in just over two minutes to establish a clear lead.

At this point, Paul had no choice. As the ga reached this stage, the highest scorer wasn’t Felton with 23 points and 9 assists, nor was it Zhang Yang with 24 points and 5 assists, but Little Cannon himself, with 26 points, 6 rebounds, and 10 assists, hitting 10 of 18 shots, including 2 of 2 from three-point range, and making 4 of 5 free throws!

As a point guard, to score and assist simultaneously, even though he wasn’t successful in single defense, his help defense and blocking off-ball were excellent, yet from a 13-point lead, the score swung to a 7-point deficit, losing 20 points in just over two quarters... a sense of despair began to erge from Paul, the team’s star player.

At 10:20 p.m., the ga ended.

Felton had 2 points and 6 assists in the final quarter, totaling 25 points and 11 assists; Zhang Yang scored 13 points in the fourth quarter, with a total of 31 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists, leading the Bobcats to reverse the Hornets 111 to 99, winning the final battle of the first month of the gas!
