Chapter 53: Fine

“Brother, Bro... Brother, stop kicking, stop kicking, I was wrong...” The youth with the crew cut placed a hand on the back of his head and the other on his buttock. He was completely flustered, and the only thing that ca to his mind was to plead.

“You’re so young and you’re playing with a knife?” Jiang Xiao snatched the switchblade from the youth with the crew cut and kicked him to turn him over before straddling him.

Due to the fact that the youth with the crew cut had just been hit on his face and the back of his head, he was in a horrible state and he could vaguely see a sharp and cold glow.

The youth with the crew cut hurriedly blocked the blow with his hand, after which the switchblade was stabbed into his arm.

“Ah!!!” The youth with the crew cut shrieked and sobered up.

Is this dude for real!?!

Is he even still a student?

If I didn’t block this attack, would I have been stabbed to death!?!

The youth with the crew cut had already broken out into cold sweat because of his fear. He did not expect the innocent and harmless-looking Jiang Xiao would be so fierce.

He’s not even at the standards of a high school student. He’s so damned...

Jiang Xiao grabbed the switchblade and pulled it out before punching the youth with the crew cut forcefully.

“Brother! Brother! I know it was my fault! I was wrong! We can fight, but don’t kill ! Why don’t you continue to kick my ass?” The youth with the crew cut shrieked in horror. He was indeed a good fighter, but there was a limit to his abilities too. He would at most get into a scuffle but would never kill anyone.

“I know what I’m doing and what the limits are. Why are you yelling?” Jiang Xiao punched the youth with the crew cut on his arm and Green Glow glistened in his fist as the youth got smashed into the tile.

Seeing that Jiang Xiao still didn’t put the knife away, he was overwheld with fear and regret. He thought, Why did I even take out the switchblade?

Aren’t I shooting myself in the foot?

I wanted to scare him, but I ended up getting into trouble instead.

“Brother, there are eight major cris that warrant a sentence and murder is one of them. Although you’re underage, you’re over 14 years old and you have to be sentenced for murder!” the youth with the crew cut yelled all of a sudden.

Jiang Xiao almost burst into cold laughter. He smacked the knife against the face of the youth with the crew cut and said, “Weren’t you clueless about the law just now? You’re familiar with the law, aren’t you? Aren’t you great at pretending?”

“Brother, my father is a judge and my sister is a lawyer. If I hadn’t awakened my Star Map a few months ago, in the future, I’d also...”

Before the youth with the crew cut could even finish speaking, Jiang Xiao slid his face with the blade forcefully.

“Ah...” The youth with the crew cut shrieked again miserably.

At the next mont, the crisp and lodious sound of Bell filled the air and the dical Light emitted a strong ray of light that connected to the youth with the crew cut, the one with the buzz cut, and the skinny youth who had fainted.

After just a few tens of seconds, the wounds on the arm and face of the youth with the crew cut who got stabbed began to heal slowly.

“Enough, stop crying.” Jiang Xiao wiped the face of the youth with the crew cut and said, “There isn’t a single scar at all.”

The youth with the crew cut stared at Jiang Xiao who was straddling him and wiped his face with one hand. Although there was definitely blood, the long wound had indeed healed, and there was no scar on his smooth and tender face.

“Is Gao Junchen your leader?” Jiang Xiao asked. “Does he fancy Yi Lianna?”

“Yes, Gao Junchen is the leader of Class 1 and he has an elder brother called Gao Junwei. Gao Junwei is a senior in Year Three and one of the School Tyrants. He’s formidable,” said the youth with the crew cut, looking terrified yet fortunate.

“Gao Junwei?” Jiang Xiao froze for a mont. Isn’t that the mber of the school team whom I’m trying to replace?

“Bro, Brother, could you heal once more?” asked the man with the buzz cut, holding onto his leg.

Jiang Xiao turned his head and sneered. “Be serious. We’re fighting now. Why are you asking for help?”

“Brother, if I knew that you were a dical Awakened, I wouldn’t have gone against you no matter what. I’d rush to befriend you. You’re the only dical Awakened of our cohort and we still have three years to go in high school. After high school, we still have a lifeti to go,” the youth with the buzz cut said in a thick-skinned manner.

Jiang Xiao questioned, “Does that an you can bully if I’m not a dical Awakened?”

The youth with the buzz cut frantically shook his head and exclaid, “No, definitely not!”

Jiang Xiao stood up and walked towards the youth with the buzz cut. Seeing the shaless smile on the latter’s face, he kicked his leg that was bending outwards.

“Ah!!!” The youth with the buzz cut broke out in cold sweat and began rolling on the ground while hugging his knees.

“From now on, you’re not to bully anyone. Study hard, train hard and work hard for the rise of China for the rest of your life!” Jiang Xiao barked.

“Yes, Big... Big Brother... I promise... I will turn over a new leaf and beco a changed person.” The youth with the buzz cut wailed and bawled while shivering.

“Okay, don’t get embroiled with that Gao Junchen either.” Jiang Xiao tossed a wave of Bell and walked towards the skinny youth who had passed out. He then squatted down and started to rummage through his pockets.

Yes, the 300 yuan in the left pocket is mine.

Jiang Xiao thought about it and pulled out another 500 yuan from the skinny youth’s pocket.

“Brother, the eight major cris!” Although the youth with the crew cut was overwheld with pain, he did not sustain any injury. However, he had no idea if he was lucky or unfortunate to have t a dical Awakened.

“Huh?” Jiang Xiao turned to look at the youth with the crew cut.

The youth with the buzz cut felt much more comfortable after the healing effects by Bell. He barked angrily. “Bullshit! Is this a robbery? This is a fine! You ought to be punished for your mistakes.”

Huh?

Jiang Xiao turned around to look at the youth with the buzz cut, who hurriedly put on a smile again.

Jiang Xiao nodded and said, “Kid, you’re getting more sensible.”

The youth with the buzz cut quickly took out 200 yuan from his pocket and said, “Brother, these are our dical fees. Please see if it’s enough. I also have a al card...”

Bang!

The door of the utility room was kicked open.

A tall figure walked in with an icy cold expression and a pair of nacing eyes. All of a sudden, the temperature in the room seed to have dropped suddenly.

Han Jiangxue looked at the ssy clutter in the room and walked towards Jiang Xiao who was squatting on the ground. She looked down at him and asked, “Are you injured?”

Jiang Xiao felt a sudden sense of warmth in his heart, for the first thing she asked was whether or not he was injured, instead of finding out if he was at fault.

Jiang Xiao answered, “I’m alright. What brings you here?”

“Your class correspondent called your teammates for help and I happened to be waiting for you at the place where you’re supposed to assemble.” While speaking, Han Jiangxue noticed the youth with the crew cut and the skinny youth who were embedded in the ground beside the youth with the buzz cut, who was covering his leg and smiling wryly.

Jiang Xiao tilted her head and looked at the pair of crew cut brothers, Zhu Wen and Zhu Wu.

Liu Ke was blocked by two reckless n, but Yi Lianna could still see everything that was going on inside because of her height.

“Put the money down and get back to class. Leave this to ,” said Han Jiangxue.

The youths watched in astonishnt as Jiang Xiao stopped being angry and nacing and instead turned obedient.

Jiang Xiao expressed assent, crouched on the ground and hesitated for a while before putting down the 300 yuan that he was holding onto.

Han Jiangxue leaned down slightly and poked Jiang Xiao’s head with her finger. “How would I not know how much money you have?”

Jiang Xiao smiled awkwardly and picked up the 300 yuan on the ground before putting down another 500 yuan.

“Is this yours?” Han Jiangxue asked softly.

“Of course it’s mine, they snatched it away from my pocket,” Jiang Xiao frantically explained while gesturing to the youth with the buzz cut beside him.

This kid is indeed getting better.

The youth with the buzz cut frantically said, “Yes, Sis, we were the ones who snatched the 300 yuan away.”

“Shut up,” Han Jiangxue said coldly without even looking back.

The youth with the buzz cut could not help but cringe, while the youth with the crew cut slowly crawled up, finding Han Jiangxue to be rather familiar.

She... seems to be the alpha female of the School Tyrant team?

She was the alpha female because Han Jiangxue was the commander of the team.

In any team, the commander was undoubtedly a notch higher than the rest of the mbers.

“Um, go back to class. I can manage on my own,” Jiang Xiao said.

“Huh?” Han Jiangxue looked down at Jiang Xiao.

Over ti, she had already gotten used to picking up after Jiang Xiao and solving his problems. Seeing how serious Jiang Xiao was, Han Jiangxue finally rembered that her rascal of a brother had finally beco much more sensible a month ago.

Jiang Xiao said to the teammates at the door, “You guys go back too. Help apply for a leave. Just say that I have an upset stomach. I’ll explain to Coach Lei Jin myself.”

Han Jiangxue hesitated for a mont before rubbing Jiang Xiao’s head gently. She then turned around and left the utility room.
