Han Jiangxue frowned, seemingly not willing to protect Zhang Hui. She had never changed her intentions before. Apart from a select few, she didn’t care about most people in the world.
“Help ! I’ll give you guys half of these weapons!” exclaid Zhang Hui, who seed to be a pragmatic person. It was just like how he had continuously suggested that Xing Lang drop by Han Jiangxue’s cabin on the train. Worried that Xing Lang might have failed to express their intentions, he went ahead himself and visited Han Jiangxue’s team to express his intentions.
Now that he was on the verge of being killed by Yu Zhen who was hunting him down, Zhang Hui did not pin any hopes on trying to convince her based on the fact that they were acquaintances. Instead, he chose to attract them into agreeing by offering so tempting benefits.
Jiang Xiao was thrilled and said, “Brother Li, open your shield.”

Jiang Xiao chuckled and said, “I was adopted.”
