Chapter 167: Success in Learning

The youth stared at Jiang Xiao from afar with a look of amazent and surprise.

When Jiang Xiao heard the loud voice, he felt slightly relieved.

It was because... Jiang Xiao knew that team.

He had t them two days ago.

Although Jiang Xiao did not interact too much with them, he knew that they were fellow students.

Compared to the adult Awakened, the students seed to be much safer and less troubling for Jiang Xiao. After all, the students would rarely do things like murder and snatching others’ gains.

If nothing was wrong, there should be a practical combat teacher hiding behind them.

Besides, what made Jiang Xiao feel relaxed was the fact that the mbers of that team were rather friendly towards him when they t previously.

At that ti, Jiang Xiao was like a blockhead and was made to stand in military position by Second Last. He only managed to move his limbs and body when facing the roaring White Ghouls and slling the odor of blood in the air.

The team was clearly there to train too. When they saw Jiang Xiao standing alone and remaining still, they thought that his body had frozen.

All of a sudden, two rays of light were cast down.

They were rays of Blessing!

What followed were two rays of Bell...

Yes, the team of students was very friendly, but the only word Jiang Xiao could think of was—extravagant!

There were two dical Awakened in the team!

Damn it.

Jiangbin High School, where Jiang Xiao studied at, was an elite high school in Beijiang Province which attracted many hopeful Awakened students. Hence, the student profiles were impressive.

However, even then, there were only two dical Awakened in the entire Year Three cohort, including Jiang Xiao.

There were only two dical Awakened in the Year Two cohort, and after Jiang Xiao advanced to Year Three, there were no longer any dical Awakened in the Year One cohort!

Yet, there were two dical Awakened in the strangers’ team.

Is this possible?

Are there even any rules!?!

“Huh?” said a female voice, mixed with a tinge of laughter. “Isn’t this the icicle we t two days ago?”

“Huh? Is that the icicle boy?” said another female voice, seemingly exactly the sa as the previous one. Jiang Xiao could only tell from their conversation that it was between two people. “Little icicle, we et again.”

What a terrible nickna.

However, it couldn’t be helped since Jiang Xiao’s face was indeed pale and his body was also as stiff as an icicle when they ran into him previously.

Jiang Xiao didn’t make a single sound despite having received a Blessing from the girls.

He had been exposed to the Silver Quality Blessing for a long ti and so was much more resistant to the Brass Quality Blessing.

“Little Icicle, say sothing,” said one of the girls. Seemingly having thought of sothing, she continued, “Is it because of that nacing woman? Poor Little Icicle. He’s too scared to even say anything. She’s too strict with him.”

Jiang Xiao was feeling rather helpless. While carrying the sword on his back, he said, “Hello.”

In the distance, four young n clad in camouflage uniforms could be seen.

There was also a burly young man nearly 1.9 ters tall standing in front with a long sword.

At first glance, one would definitely be reminded of the Green Dragon crescent sword belonging to Lord Guan.

In contrast to Jiang Xiao’s weapons, the team was using a long rod that was relatively shorter.

Jiang Xiao’s giant sword had a short handle, but the blade was large, wide, thick, and long.

The youth stared at Jiang Xiao from afar. He had full eyebrows, an intense gaze, high nose bridge, and brick red lips which had curled into a smirk that accentuated his handso face.

The handso youth prodded at the corpse beneath his feet and turned it over with his crescent sword before turning to look at the White Ghoul’s corpse. “Did you kill it alone?”

There was a young man beside him who had a round face and was wearing a white cotton cap. The young man was scanning his surroundings and seed to be looking for sothing.

There were a pair of girls behind him, who had similar figures... or rather, their figures were identical.

They were about 1.62 to 1.63 ters tall and both of them had their hair tied up into a bun. They were both wearing white scarfs and their faces were rosy too. They looked extrely pretty and charming and were looking at Jiang Xiao curiously.

Any one of them would definitely impress others, for they were beautiful, young, and full of youth.

With the identical-looking girls standing together, they created an even more beautiful sight.

Their figure, appearance, mannerisms, and speech were identically and their movents seed to be executed almost simultaneously in an amazing manner.

Humans are such amazing creatures. Their father must have saved the world in his previous life.

It was because the two of them were not only beautiful but were also dical Awakened.

The world has never been fair...

Both of them did have the Star Technique Blessing and Jiang Xiao could tell that they ca from an affluent family. Besides, they were also extrely kind. When they saw the freezing Jiang Xiao, they gave him shots of Blessing and Bell without hesitation.

Jiang Xiao thought to himself, Why don’t... I befriend them?

While Jiang Xiao was thinking about it, the youth standing far away from him said sothing.

Wielding the crescent sword, the youth gazed at Jiang Xiao excitedly and asked, “Did you really kill it alone? Where’s that woman?”

Jiang Xiao frowned because he could feel his strong desire to battle.

“Well, you’re working so hard, clearly because you’ve already acquired strong Star Techniques,” said the young man. He raised his crescent sword, after which a gust of wind rolled over and blew the White Ghoul Witch’s corpse away.

The corpse rolled away continuously, raking up snowflakes and forming a long trail in the snow before finally stopping at the tree in front of Jiang Xiao.

What kind of power control is this!?!

Wind elent Star Technique?

In the distance, the young man raised his crescent sword and pointed it at Jiang Xiao. “Now that that woman isn’t around and you’re not under supervision, co spar with .”

Jiang Xiao was speechless.

When the young man saw the hardworking Jiang Xiao previously, he felt a strong desire to spar with him. However, Second Last turned him down coldly.

Back then, the young man wanted to insist on getting his way, but Second Last shot him an angry glance that caused him to retreat in fear.

The young man was flabbergasted and infuriated then because he felt an unprecedented sense of insult. However, before he could even say anything, he was dragged away by his teammate.

After all, they were in the snowfield and not China, where there were law and order.

They were just worried about getting into mishaps. Just like Jiang Xiao in the past, they thought of Second Last as a fierce and nacing woman.

Jiang Xiao shook his head and squatted down to whip out his dagger in a bid to retrieve the White Ghoul Witch Star Bead. “Nah.”

Upon hearing Jiang Xiao’s refusal, the young man taunted. “What’s the matter? Are you too timid?”

Jiang Xiao didn’t plan to answer. Just as he was about to retrieve the Star Bead, he felt a sudden gust of wind.

In the distance, the young man flicked his sword backward and caused the White Ghoul Witch’s corpse to roll towards him.

Jiang Xiao’s pupils constricted and he subconsciously began to move his body.

He crouched forward, tensed up his legs, and grabbed the handle of the sword that was exposed diagonally above his shoulder. He was about to go all out.

However, Jiang Xiao’s rationality stopped him in the nick of ti.

He did not act rashly, but his murderous intent was still strong.

What had Jiang Xiao learned from training hard in the snowfield with Second Last in the past month?

Did he rely learn Freehand Combat? Did he rely learn how to use the dagger or gained experience in battling?

No, Jiang Xiao learned a lot more precious things.

For example, he gained a fierce and domineering aura and a strong character that allowed him to remain dauntless in the face of a crisis.

For example, he learned to remain stable and calm.

For example, when faced with a sudden attack or landing himself in a situation with harsh conditions, he would no longer have shaky hands.
