They were here to kill him! Having spotted a flaw in their formation, shouldn’t he have broken through the encirclent? Comforting them, steadying their nerves, and offering to help fix their flaw for them—what on earth was he thinking?!
The five top prodigies were also completely dumbfounded; they thought they were hearing things.
He has a plan? What kind of damned plan could he possibly have?!
"Kill!" the leader roared, and the Domain Force constructed by the five of them suddenly surged.
The void compressed to its absolute limit, continuously shattering.
Ning Xuan made his move. Since they wouldn’t appreciate his kindness, he would just kill them all.
However, his choice stunned everyone.
"What is he doing?"
"Has he gone mad? Why is he charging the strongest one?"
But they watched as Ning Xuan ford a sword with his fingers and shot directly toward the leader.
Sword Sixteen!
Even under the powerful Majestic Pressure of the Domain, nothing could stop Ning Xuan from executing his Stacking Sword technique. The terrifying pressure, capable of crushing mighty mountains, was like a bubble, bursting at a single touch.
By the ti everyone ca to their senses, Ning Xuan had already tapped the leader’s forehead.
PFFT!
A bloody hole appeared on the back of his head. This prodigy, ranked first on the previous Pride Ranking, collapsed backward. His eyes were wide open, dead but not at peace.
As the Domain they had constructed shattered, Ning Xuan’s figure vanished from his spot.
PFFT! PFFT! PFFT! PFFT!
Four Blood Swords shot out from four different directions. In the next instant, four more corpses lay on the ground, their eyes wide open in death.
A deathly silence fell over the scene.
These were five top prodigies, battle-hardened survivors from the Pride Hunting Ground who had fought their way to the top. Now, Ning Xuan had wiped them out just like that, an utterly shocking sight.
From the shadows, Zhang Yun suddenly ordered, "Attack!"
Though still in shock, Cao Bin was so accustod to Zhang Yun’s commands that he moved instinctively.
Just as Ning Xuan bent down to retrieve the Storage Rings, the ground beneath his feet suddenly cracked open. A giant earthen hand erupted from below, grasping for his throat. Its power and speed made it impossible to defend against.
The crowd, still reeling, instinctively exclaid, "What kind of technique is this?!"
"A Dao Xuan Master has made a move!"
"Interesting! Has the Dao Xuan Institute joined the fray as well?"
In the shadows, soone muttered, settling in to watch the show unfold.
BOOM!
Ning Xuan slamd his left hand on the ground, twisting his body to evade the attack while throwing a punch. The giant earthen hand exploded into pieces.
Yet, the mont his body rose into the air, a violent wind ford above him, solidifying into a giant hand that slamd down. It was an inescapable net, a killing blow. The timing of the hand that suddenly appeared above was perfect. Suspended in mid-air, Ning Xuan had no leverage, making it nearly impossible to dodge.
"What a formidable technique!"
"Is this the might of the three top-tier Sects? They intend to end the battle with a single move!"
"Now *that’s* a real hunting technique!"
Everyone couldn’t help but marvel. But they failed to see the extre excitent shining in Ning Xuan’s eyes.
Finally, things are getting interesting!
Elent Qi churned within his body, his blood boiling. With a low shout, Ning Xuan’s body twisted in an unbelievable way as he hurled out a punch.
BANG!
The hand descending from the air exploded. Ning Xuan plumted, consud by the deep chasm below. The shattered hand reford and plunged down after him just before the cracks in the earth closed!
RUMBLE—
The entire ground shook violently.
"Is it over just like that?"
"Are the top powers really that terrifying?"
"What a fearso Dao Xuan Technique!"
In the shadows, however, Cao Bin and Zhang Yun’s expressions were grim. This was especially true for Cao Bin. He controlled the earth with his Dao Xuan Technique, but now that Ning Xuan had been swallowed by it, he had lost all sense of him. This should have been impossible. The only explanation was that Ning Xuan wasn’t underground at all.
No sooner had this thought crossed his mind than Cao Bin reacted, the ground below him splitting as he tried to escape.
Unfortunately, it was too late.
BOOM!
An iron fist ca flying in, and Cao Bin’s body exploded into a mist of blood. To his death, he never understood how Ning Xuan had managed it.
Beside where Cao Bin had stood, Zhang Yun vanished. His Primordial Dao Xuan Technique was wind, and the mont Ning Xuan’s punch flew toward him, he fled with the greatest speed he had ever mustered.
SPURT!
Landing so distance away, Zhang Yun spat out a mouthful of blood. Dao Xuan Masters were not suited for close combat. Despite his speed and the Defensive Barrier he had constructed from the wind, he was still injured.
His figure flashed again. Right now, he had only one thought: escape. If he didn’t flee now, death was the only path left.
SWISH!
His body continued to fly forward as his head was left behind.
Ning Xuan appeared once more, stunning the crowd.
"He’s defying the heavens! Now he’s completely offended all three top powers!"
"Wasn’t it said that his fiancée is cultivating at the Dao Xuan Institute? How can even the Dao Xuan Institute not tolerate him? To be treated like this..."
PFFT!
A sword strike sealed the speaker’s throat.
"If you don’t know how to talk, then don’t," Ning Xuan’s voice rang out, and the scene fell utterly silent.
"Where are the people from Star Moon Pavilion? And the Martial God Temple’s Sub-Hall? Weren’t you going to hunt down? Where are you?" Ning Xuan stood proudly, his voice thundering across the field.
The spectators looked at him as if he were a madman. This guy, after killing five top prodigies and two Dao Xuan Masters, was acting completely lawless.
"What? Are you deaf or mute?!" Ning Xuan scanned the crowd, the very picture of arrogance.
Of course, he wasn’t mad. He wanted to fuel his growth through battle, aiming to reach the peak of the Earth Realm as soon as possible.
In the shadows, the Martial Artists from Star Moon Pavilion and the Martial God Temple’s Sub-Hall all turned pale. A large number of their fellow sect mbers had entered the Pride Hunting Ground this ti, but their elite forces had recently been reassigned to a new mission.
Present mbers from Star Moon Pavilion and the Martial God Temple’s Sub-Hall were frantically sending ntal ssages to their comrades. "Nobody move! This guy is doing this on purpose; he’s looking for an excuse to kill!"
"Don’t be fooled. I’ve figured it out. As long as we don’t provoke him first, he won’t kill anyone!"
This bastard was likely trying to bait them. If any of their people dared to step forward, Ning Xuan would surely obliterate the one who stood out.
Ning Xuan was quite surprised. He was indeed trying to bait them, a classic case of shooting the bird that sticks its head out. If his opponents dared to make a move, he would kill the first one, and the others would be too intimidated to act.
But against all expectations, they weren’t taking the bait.
This isn’t fun anymore.
"Sigh, what a bunch of cowards! Any more takers? If not, I’m leaving."
Ning Xuan decided to go look for Wang Yu and his senior sister, or perhaps Zhan Wudi. The prodigies from the last Pride Ranking had been a disappointnt, and the Dao Xuan Techniques of the two Dao Xuan Masters from the Dao Xuan Institute weren’t up to par. After thinking it over, Ning Xuan could only pin his hopes on them.
「Elsewhere in the Pride Hunting Ground」
Zhan Wudi sneezed again. Yuan Yurong, who had just managed to calm her heart, was perturbed once more.
Back at Ning Xuan’s location, the crowd collectively watched him leave. They wanted to take action, but their strength simply didn’t allow it.
"He’s only in the Earth Realm! If this continues, who can possibly stop him unless the supre prodigies from the three top powers make a move?!" soone couldn’t help but sigh after Ning Xuan had disappeared from sight.
Suddenly, a voice sounded, "I’d like to try. Where did he go?"
"He went that way..." soone answered automatically, turning to look for the source of the voice.
There was no one there.
