This Baijia Village must have once lived a primitive life, eating raw flesh and drinking blood. Even the Seven Saints didn’t have a single decent piece of clothing. It seed only the Heavenly Sacrifice Cauldron was presentable.
This was no ti for posturing. Ning Xuan stepped forward and flicked his finger.
CLANG!
The sound was distant and profound. The Baijia villagers sitting cross-legged behind him all shuddered.
The Seven Saints looked over, their eyes widening instantly. To their astonishnt, that sound had caused every single villager to break through a shackle!
"The thods of a god! This is definitely the work of a god!"
"A heavenly deity has descended! A heavenly deity has truly descended!"
"..."
The Seven Saints were murmuring among themselves. Ning Xuan’s attention had been on the Heavenly Sacrifice Cauldron, but he turned his head at their words and froze. The Seven Saints were all staring straight at him.
Ning Xuan was stunned.
"The heavenly deity you speak of... is ?" he asked tentatively, pointing to himself.
The Seven Saints nodded vigorously.
"Uh, you’ve misunderstood. I’m not..."
Before Ning Xuan could finish, the Seven Saints grew agitated.
"You wield imnse power with a re gesture, and yet you claim you are not a descended heavenly deity."
"A re flick of your finger allowed all of them to break their shackles. Such an ability is simply unheard of! This is absolutely the work of a true god!"
"Exactly, only..."
Hearing their claims grow more and more absurd, Ning Xuan couldn’t help but interrupt, "Wait, what flick of a finger? What breaking shackles? I don’t understand what you’re talking about."
The Seven Saints imdiately pointed at the villagers and explained what had just happened. When he understood, Ning Xuan was dumbfounded.
This worked?! I truly didn’t do anything other than flick my finger.
"You’ve misunderstood. It was their own accomplishnt," Ning Xuan quickly clarified, having no habit of taking credit that wasn’t his.
"How could that be? We are well aware of their capabilities!"
"Rest assured, Honored One, we will never reveal your identity!"
"Yes, yes, I guarantee it with my life!" several of the Seven Saints earnestly assured him.
However, one of the old n seed to hesitate. Noticing this, Ning Xuan promptly asked, "Elder, if you have sothing to say, please speak freely."
Finally, soone who can still think for himself. That’s a rarity. Or so I thought.
"Um... Honored One, there is sothing I wish to ask of you." After speaking, he looked up at the sky.
A wave of dread washed over Ning Xuan.
Damn it.
He was aware of the seven suns in the sky. He had spent the last few days pondering counterasures but had co up with nothing. He had thought there was still more ti to think, but now...
I’ve dug my own grave!
Ning Xuan’s unease intensified. He wanted to refuse, but the other Six Saints were also looking at him with expectant eyes. Most importantly, they had been generous enough to give him the Heavenly Sacrifice Cauldron. If he refused, he wouldn’t even need these seven old n to act; the villagers of Baijia Village would probably rise up and attack him.
"When did these seven suns appear?" Ning Xuan decided to get more information before saying anything else.
"A hundred years ago, a rumbling sound erupted from the heavens, followed by what seed to be terrifying collisions between spaces. With each collision, another sun appeared in the sky!"
Ning Xuan was sowhat shocked. For so reason, hearing this made him subconsciously recall what Luo Tianyi had said before kicking him into the space-ti channel. Back then, with every point of her finger, a new space related to him had manifested in the Void Mirror.
In a flash of wild inspiration, I’d told her to rge them. Could this place be the product of that fusion?! The more he thought about it, the more plausible it seed.
If only that scoundrel Luo Tianyi were here. I have a feeling her kick completely warped space and ti! He tried to shift the bla in an attempt to make her appear. She must have had so fortuitous encounter, as she seed to know everything, as if from a divine perspective. If she showed up, any problem could be solved.
Unfortunately, no matter how much Ning Xuan disparaged her, she didn’t show up. He had no choice but to give up.
Just as he was about to continue asking about the seven suns, Ning Xuan’s eyebrows suddenly shot up as he looked ahead.
BANG!
Tens of miles away, a mountain exploded. It was followed by a series of deafening blasts. The area, once a vast mountain range, was now devoid of mountains. In their place stood gigantic beasts, each a hundred zhang tall! Over a dozen beasts lined up in a row, replacing the forr mountain range!
Each one was an ancient beast radiating an overwhelmingly terrifying aura. The fact that they had so easily shattered the vast mountains was a testant to their power. What was more dreadful was that such powerful beasts were rely mounts, for on the back of each was a human rider!
"This is bad, the powerhouses from the Seven Great Clans have arrived!"
"Youngest, go and evacuate the villagers!" the old man with the highest cultivation yelled. Before his voice had even faded, he shot forward.
He had barely taken to the air when, tens of miles away, a burly man atop a bovine-like beast reached into the void and chopped down. An axe cleaved through the air with the montum to split the heavens. The chilly gleam easily tore through the sky, extending indefinitely as it aid to cleave Heaven Sacrificial Peak in two.
Ning Xuan’s heart pounded. Now *that* is wielding imnse power with a casual gesture! The man who attacked is definitely a Holy Realm expert!
PFFT!
The result was terrifying. The leader of the Seven Saints fiercely resisted the axe, and although the chilly gleam exploded, he was struck as if by a teor from the heavens. He flew backward for tens of miles through the void before crashing down in the square of Heaven Sacrificial Peak. The hard mountain surface might as well have been mud, as his body plowed a furrow over ten zhang long. He only stopped when he slamd into the Heavenly Sacrifice Cauldron.
Strangely, the Heavenly Sacrifice Cauldron, which had resounded from a re flick of Ning Xuan’s finger monts ago, didn’t budge or make a sound. Yet Ning Xuan had clearly felt the entire peak tremble the mont the old man collided with it.
However, Ning Xuan didn’t have ti to ponder the reason. His gaze was still fixed on the burly man.
To defeat a Holy Realm expert in a single strike... that fellow’s strength is terrifying!
At that mont, the burly man looked directly at him. Ning Xuan’s brow furrowed, and he quietly retreated behind the Six Saints. The burly man rely glanced at him, dismissing him as a youth from Baijia Village, and locked his gaze onto the Six Saints.
"That old thing has gotten much stronger. But have you six made any progress?" his voice bood like thunder, shaking the wilderness.
The Six Saints said nothing, stepping forward together.
The Honored One must have retreated just now to test us! We absolutely cannot let him down!
With this thought, the fourth among the Seven Saints stepped forward and declared loudly, "I will fight you!"
Standing in the void, he made a casual grasping motion, and a Bone Rod appeared in his hand. The rod was a lustrous white, and a mysterious aura flowed around it.
Seeing this, Ning Xuan couldn’t help but marvel. If I’m not mistaken, that was refined from the spine of a Holy Realm expert! The Bone Rod seems so perfectly attuned to the man... there’s only one possibility. Those are his brother’s bones! A Holy Realm expert from Baijia Village once fell! The Seven Great Clans are likely the culprits!
