Before the Supre Venerable, the void split open, and a sword slashed toward him. His pupils shrank in alarm. The very sword that had just obliterated a peer of his own realm was still clutched in Ning Xuan's hand! Where had this second, identical blade co from?! He had no ti to think. To his horror, he discovered he could not dodge the attack! A bizarre energy had him locked in place!

SQUELCH!

The sword wasn't fast, but it was incredibly sharp. He could even distinctly hear the sound of his body being split in two. Imdiately after, the bizarre energy vanished. He tried to restore his body, but a Ferocious Gang Wind surged like a tornado, engulfing him in an instant.

At the end of his life, the last thing he saw was Ning Xuan's smile.

The final Supre Venerable had fallen.

The Chaos Boundary Sea fell deathly silent. Only the endless Gang Wind continued to wreak havoc.

After an unknown amount of ti, one of the Great Saint's disciples swallowed hard and asked shakily, "How... how did you do that?!"

Even though he had witnessed it with his own eyes, he still could not believe what he had seen. Most importantly, as a bystander, he had no idea how Ning Xuan had pulled it off.

Ning Xuan blinked and smiled. "A secret."

As he retracted his gaze, Ning Xuan scanned the depths of the Chaos Boundary Sea. I just used the Demon Brush! It was subtle, but I'm sure the Bloodgrove Great Saint must have noticed. The Cloud Floating Sword, the Ink Jade Pouch, and now the Demon Brush... I've played almost all my trump cards. I was forced to use the Demon Brush on a Supre Venerable who hadn't even reached sainthood, and my real opponent is a Great Saint. There's no chance of victory! As for the Southern Bright Separation Fire... well, I'll just pretend it doesn't exist. Everyone needs a few secrets, right?

Just then, two of the Great Saint's disciples jolted. Bowing in unison, they gestured forward and said, "Ning Xuan, the Great Saint invites you."

"Alright!" Ning Xuan agreed without the slightest hesitation. What's coming will co.

Watching Ning Xuan walk away without a second glance, the two disciples stared at his back, dazed. A worrying thought suddenly struck them, making them anxious. This guy's talent is terrifying, and his combat instincts are incredible... What if the Great Saint takes a liking to him?! He hasn't used his Divine Sense in ages, but he made an exception for this man... This doesn't look good for us!

The only saving grace was that they hadn't truly offended Ning Xuan, which greatly reduced the chances of him speaking ill of them.

Ning Xuan, oblivious to the two n behind him anxiously weighing their fortunes, picked up his pace. The deeper he went into the Chaos Boundary Sea, the more terrifying the Gang Wind beca. But now, the Bloodgrove Great Saint had made a move.

He had carved a stable path directly through the terrifying Gang Wind, stretching for over a hundred miles!

Ning Xuan's heart tensed as he moved forward. When he finally appeared before the Bloodgrove Great Saint, he was even more shocked. The man was sitting cross-legged in ditation, right in the middle of the Gang Wind! Using only a single thread of Divine Sense to carve a hundred-mile-long tunnel through the Chaos Boundary Sea's depths—which could easily shred an ordinary Emperor Realm Martial Artist—was terrifying enough.

But Ning Xuan instantly noticed sothing else: the Bloodgrove Great Saint was still injured!

Ning Xuan was deeply shaken. Anyone else with those injuries would have died long ago. Yet, he not only suppressed them but also had the power to create this passage. Is this the might of a Great Saint? I underestimated him! It's a good thing his old wounds haven't healed. Otherwise, even with all my tricks, I wouldn't stand a chance! No, what am I thinking? He's still a Great Saint, injured or not! I can't get complacent!

"What are you looking at?" A voice suddenly echoed in Ning Xuan's mind—ancient, profound, and carrying an indescribable Majestic Pressure. This pressure wasn't intentional; it seed innate. This was a Great Saint, whose every gesture exuded imnse majesty.

Yet Ning Xuan remained fearless. He cupped his fist and said admiringly, "To be able to cultivate here in the Chaos Boundary Sea while bearing such wounds... The Great Saint's divine might is truly awe-inspiring!"

BOOM!

The Bloodgrove Great Saint's eyes snapped open. The space around him collapsed, and the once-calm Chaos Boundary Sea erupted in a thunderous fury! His eyes instantly locked onto Ning Xuan.

The Bloodgrove Great Saint was shocked. This boy had seen through his injuries with a single glance! He had placed Prohibitions on himself precisely to hide his condition. Even the disciples who had followed him for hundreds of years had no idea he was injured! They all assud he was simply cultivating with the energy of the Chaos Boundary Sea! Yet now, a young mber of the Human Race had seen through it all with a single look!

"Who in the world are you?!" the Bloodgrove Great Saint demanded solemnly, his tone as if he were facing a great enemy. In my eyes, he's on the sa level as those old monsters. He must be disguised to look this young!

Ning Xuan hadn't expected such a massive reaction, but he was exceptionally clever. He guessed what the Bloodgrove Great Saint was thinking almost instantly and was secretly amused. Maybe I can get through the Chaos Boundary Sea without having to fight after all!

Deciding to add more fuel to the fire, Ning Xuan asked a question of his own instead of answering, "You should have one Netherworld Contrary Yang Grass left, correct?"

"Who in the world are you?!" The Bloodgrove Great Saint trembled violently, his expression growing even more grave.

Ning Xuan still didn't answer directly, instead saying, "It's of no use to you now, anyway. Give it to ."

His tone was not one of negotiation but of entitled demand. It was a good thing no one who knew Ning Xuan was present, or they would have been scared witless. To demand a celestial treasure from a genuine Great Saint... Ning Xuan was audacious beyond belief!

The Bloodgrove Great Saint did not reply. Runes flickered in his eyes as he tried to peer into Ning Xuan's origins.

Ning Xuan's face wore a smile, showing no trace of fear.

A mont later, the Bloodgrove Great Saint burst into laughter, his expression relaxing. "Hahaha, what a youth from the Human Race! You're only seventeen or eighteen, yet you dare to act so presumptuously before . What incredible nerve!"

Instead of showing any fear of being found out, Ning Xuan's smile only grew wider. However, he shook his head and sighed. "So this is the foremost expert of the Tianyang Realm, the famous Bloodgrove Great Saint? How disappointing."

The Great Saint's laughter died. A terrifying aura began to rise from him as he asked gravely, "What do you an by that?!"

"Isn't it laughable that you judge my depth by my age?"

The Bloodgrove Great Saint's eyes narrowed as another possibility imdiately occurred to him. Possession! The body of this Human Race youth might be housing the soul of a Great Saint, or sothing even more terrifying!

But he was a Great Saint, after all, and not so easily fooled.

"Tell ," the Great Saint asked imdiately, "do you know how I received this injury?"

This was a test. If Ning Xuan couldn't answer, it would all be over.

Ning Xuan had been able to see that the Bloodgrove Great Saint was injured thanks to the Chaos Ancestral Dragon Scripture, which allowed him to perceive the man's energy circulation. The Great Saint's cultivation route was clearly that of a healing technique. However, even with his twelve Divine Veins, he couldn't possibly tell *how* the Great Saint had been injured.

Still, Ning Xuan remained calm. He simply smiled without speaking, all the while ntally analyzing the Great Saint's energy circulation route. If he could reverse-engineer the circulation pattern from the healing Dharma being used, Ning Xuan was confident he could shock the Great Saint once more.
