Originally, Zhongli Ruoruo had imagined a vast new world. The Elent Qi of heaven and earth here was supposed to be countless tis denser than that of the Yuan Ling Continent. As for the strength of Martial Artists, she expected them all to have made a qualitative leap.
As it turned out, she and Ning Xuan could only stare at each other in disbelief.
In this world, the sky above was a murky gray. There was simply no trace of the Elent Qi of heaven and earth! In its place was a kind of Turbid Qi that made one feel extrely uncomfortable.
"Young Master, where is this?"
Although Zhongli Ruoruo's cultivation was higher than Ning Xuan's, she instinctively asked him. Ning Xuan was her pillar of strength.

Just then, Zhongli Ruoruo let out a sharp cry. She struck out with a palm toward the empty space at her side.

Amidst the explosive sound, her strike hit a creature in the void.

The next mont, Zhongli Ruoruo exclaid in shock.
She imdiately regretted her actions. She was in the Emperor Realm now; with a strike like that, never mind this creature, even an ordinary Emperor Realm expert couldn't have withstood it.
But as it turned out, the small creature was only sent flying a few dozen feet. And then... nothing. It was completely unhard.
Worse, it had been provoked into a rage. With bared fangs, it transford into a bolt of lightning and charged at Zhongli Ruoruo once again.
"A mutated little monkey?" Ning Xuan murmured. The creature he saw looked much like a monkey, but when it bared its teeth, Ning Xuan saw fangs akin to a galodon's.
"Be careful, there might be others..."
Ning Xuan hadn't even finished his warning before he, too, was attacked. And not just by one! Their size was only that of a small golden snub-nosed monkey, but their strength was terrifying. Even Ning Xuan felt the pressure.
BOOM!
He had just blasted one demonic monkey away when Zhongli Ruoruo, on the other side, began to falter.
"It's poisonous!" she quickly warned Ning Xuan. At the sa ti, her vigilance was at its peak, and she didn't dare to be careless for a single mont.
After all, she was born into the Yin Yang Sect and had grown up surrounded by poisons. While not completely immune, she was nearly so. Paired with the terrifying improvent in her cultivation, ordinary toxins couldn't affect her. But now, her head felt heavy, and the world before her eyes began to double.
"It's not poison! It's this omnipresent Turbid Qi! Calm yourself and focus your spirit!" Ning Xuan reminded Zhongli Ruoruo, his gaze as sharp as lightning. He was searching for the leader.
"Hehehe..."
A small monkey sat on a gray tree trunk. When it t Ning Xuan's gaze, it showed no intention of hiding.
Ning Xuan's brow twitched.
BOOM!
He disappeared on the spot. The next mont, he returned with a small monkey in his hand. The other demonic monkeys that had been swarming him all stopped.
THUMP.
Zhongli Ruoruo could no longer hold on and collapsed ungracefully, her face ashen.
"Human, release our king at once! Otherwise, she will die!" a demonic monkey suddenly threatened in the human tongue.
Ning Xuan glanced at it. And then... there was no "and then."
CRACK! With a crisp sound, the audacious demonic monkey was cleaved in two by an invisible, sharp Sword Qi. Ning Xuan glanced down and saw black blood.
"Where is this?" Ning Xuan asked, having subdued the Demon Monkey King.
"Tianyang Realm."
The answer didn't surprise Ning Xuan.
"Where is the nearest city? Take us there!"
"Okay!" This monkey was far more perceptive than most humans and agreed readily.
「An hour later.」
Now inside the city, Ning Xuan and Zhongli Ruoruo both felt the urge to curse out loud. From the outside, the city looked no different from any other. But as soon as they entered, they instantly noticed sothing was off. The city was bustling with bipedal beasts walking around just like people, yet not a single human was in sight!
At that mont, they were locked onto by countless pairs of eyes. The bipedal beasts were all incredibly surprised.
After a brief silence, the city erupted into an uproar.
"Humans! Humans have actually set foot here!"
"It's been so many years! I've finally seen humans again!"
"Grandpa, are these humans? They look so weird! So ugly!" a smaller bipedal beast exclaid in a crisp, childlike voice, actually complaining about their appearance.
"You're the ugly one! Your whole family is ugly! Look at you, not content with being a beast, but insisting on acting like a human!" Zhongli Ruoruo went on the offensive, retorting sharply.
"How are you not affected?!" The still-subdued Demon Monkey King's eyes were wide with disbelief.
"With the Young Master here, all your tricks are just child's play!" Zhongli Ruoruo said dismissively.
Her comnt made the bipedal beasts, who were about to attack over her previous words, hesitate. All eyes now focused on Ning Xuan, each one of them looking like they wanted to swallow him whole.
Zhongli Ruoruo felt a twinge of regret and said via voice transmission, "Young Master, did I cause trouble?"
Ning Xuan didn't respond, instead asking the Demon Monkey King, "What's going on with the Tianyang Realm?"
If I'm not mistaken, the Tianyang Realm should belong to the Big Dipper Star Domain. Among the Big Dipper Seven Stars, Tianyang is ranked sixth. The last is Yao Guang. But sothing is obviously amiss here.
The Demon Monkey King, as if sensing Ning Xuan's doubts, confidently said, "Human, you must not have co from the Yao Guang Realm, right?"
"How do you know?" Ning Xuan asked, playing dumb to get more information.
Sure enough, seeing Ning Xuan's reaction, the Demon Monkey King grew even more smug. "In the Big Dipper Seven Realms, only the lowest-ranked Yao Guang Realm is inhabited by lowly humans!"
It said this with a face full of pride, and the other bipedal beasts reacted similarly. In fact, their next words were incredibly infuriating.
"Are your two Human Slaves for sale? Although they're a bit ugly, they're still Human Slaves, after all!" a portly, large-eared bipedal beast asked. It had mistaken the subdued Demon Monkey King for their master, treating Ning Xuan and Zhongli Ruoruo as tradable slaves.
Zhongli Ruoruo laughed with rage. In this place, humans have beco synonymous with 'lowly.' What a joke this Tianyang Realm is! However, she kept quiet. It was the Young Master's turn to put on a show!
"Do you have Divine Crystals?" Ning Xuan asked with a smile, not at all angry.
"Divine Crystal? What's that? So trash from the Human Race?" the beast scoffed.
Still not angered, Ning Xuan simply took out a Divine Crystal he had gotten from Nanling Bully.
At that, all the bipedal beasts' eyes widened. A mont later, they all burst into riotous laughter.
"Hahaha, Human Slaves are indeed Human Slaves, thinking this thing is a treasure!"
"Exactly! The amount of this stuff my family throws away every day could crush him to death!"
Another one was even more direct. "Are you talking about this?" the bipedal beast asked, opening its large, furry hand. Suddenly, where there had been nothing, a Divine Crystal materialized!
Ning Xuan's eyes lit up.
