The giant python, which could casually sprout multiple heads, swayed its single remaining head before retreating. In the blink of an eye, it disappeared without a trace.

"Wow, Junior Brother, you're getting more and more amazing!" Wawa praised Ning Xuan generously.

Ning Xuan, however, shook his head. "That last move wasn't my doing."

Just then, a giggling laugh arose. Accompanied by a tinkling sound, a gorgeous, scantily clad woman appeared before them.

Wawa stared, eyes wide, at the woman's exposed navel, where a tiny bell was pierced. That was the source of the tinkling sound.

"The Yin Yang Sect is honored by the presence of such esteed guests." The woman paid no attention to the girls' odd looks. Her gaze swept over them before settling on Ning Xuan, a flash of surprise deep in her eyes. She was taken aback that the young man was completely unmoved by her bold attire—sothing she had never encountered before.

What she didn't know was that Ning Xuan had seen it all. A belly button bell? I've seen far more aggressive displays than that.

"My na is Lingji. It's a pleasure to et you all," the woman introduced herself.

After a quick glance, Ning Xuan asked, "Is your surna Yan?"

The woman laughed. "If Young Master Ning wishes for my surna to be Yan, I can certainly arrange that."

Ning Xuan shook his head without a word. Her figure is passable, and she's certainly got the looks, but how can she call herself Yan Lingji when she's wearing so much?

"We are here for Zhongli Ruoruo. Where is she?" Si Lanyi asked from behind him, her tone even more direct.

Lingji chuckled. "You have all co from afar. Please, rest first. Soon you can try our Hundred Flowers Brew."

Si Lanyi was about to speak again, but Ning Xuan cut in with a smile. "Of course. Please lead the way, sister."

"Heh, such sweet talk." Lingji giggled, covering her mouth as she cast a blatantly seductive glance at Ning Xuan.

"Ning Xuan, sothing's not right with her. Don't be fooled," Yun Wangshu's telepathic voice rang in his ear.

"I'll be careful," Ning Xuan replied earnestly.

He still didn't know what the Yin Yang Sect was plotting, but he was sure of one thing: they wouldn't act against him right now. To the outside world, the Yin Yang Sect was shrouded in mystery, and to them, he must seem equally enigmatic. From the mont they had stepped into Wan Jue Ridge, their every move had been under the sect's surveillance. The Yin Yang Sect must be baffled as to why the poisonous insects and Poisonous Miasma had no effect on him.

Lingji's appearance was clearly part of a mission, and Ning Xuan was curious to see what tricks she had up her sleeve.

Half an hour later, Ning Xuan and his companions were seated in a spacious cave abode. In front of them, a waterfall crashed against the shore, sending up a fine mist. Behind them, fish leaped in a lotus pond. The scene was accompanied by the music of the qin and flute, along with light songs and graceful dances, making the place seem like a paradise on earth.

Ning Xuan's group sat on the floor, an array of fragrant, exotic wild ga laid out before them.

Lingji, who had changed into a gorgeous, opulent robe that made her seem like a different person, spoke from the seat of honor. "This is a wild mountain region, so there isn't much to offer. Please forgive our simple fare."

"Now this is the good stuff!" Ning Xuan exclaid, digging in imdiately. He feasted with gusto, even pouring his own drink, completely unconcerned that the food might be poisoned.

Seeing him act this way, the other won let down their guard and raised their cups to Lingji. After three rounds of drinks, the girls, who had initially been sowhat wary, completely relaxed.

"Young Master Ning, what do you think of them?" Suddenly, Lingji looked toward the dancers in the center and asked Ning Xuan.

"Their dance is exquisite, of course," Ning Xuan said, his gaze still fixed on the wild ga before him. "But it would be even better if you would grace us with a performance."

A strange light flashed in Lingji's eyes. Has he discovered sothing? the question flickered through her mind. Impossible! I haven't shown any hostility, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with the food or wine! If he could still detect sothing amiss, he would be terrifying! He's a man, not a god! Lingji imdiately reassured herself with firm conviction.

"I used to dance, but it's been many years since I've limbered up..." Lingji began.

"I was just making a casual remark. Don't take it seriously," Ning Xuan interrupted. "Co on, let's drink."

Lingji froze. She hadn't even finished her sentence! Ning Xuan had completely disrupted her rhythm.

For a while after that, Lingji was distracted. Just as her composure was about to break, Ning Xuan's voice suddenly rang out. "You said it's been many years since you've limbered up. What would it look like if you danced now? I'm a bit curious."

Lingji giggled. "Then I shall perform a dance for you, Young Master."

Lingji nearly sprang to her feet. She had been waiting for this mont for far too long. With a wave of her hand, the other dancers departed. The lodious qin music suddenly turned mournful and plaintive.

Lingji appeared in the center, barefoot and dressed in white gauze, her charm boundless. As the light fabric fluttered, she moved like a srizing serpent.

It didn't take long.

THUMP!

THUMP!

The won collapsed one after another. Even Wawa was no exception.

Lingji paid them no heed, her gaze locked on Ning Xuan. He was smiling, looking completely unaffected as he asked, "Is this your trick?"

Lingji stopped dancing, her expression a mask of shock. "How can you possibly be unaffected?!"

"You're very clever, and your poisoning skills are superb," Ning Xuan said, shaking his head with a hint of disappointnt. "Unfortunately, it was all a bit too deliberate."

"Couldn't you have at least pretended, Young Master Ning?" Lingji recovered quickly, putting on a look of deep resentnt. "You've made feel so defeated."

Despite her words, her vigilance was at its peak. This man is far more terrifying than I had imagined. Anyone else would have played along and feigned passing out. At least, that's what she would have done. But Ning Xuan hadn't. The implication was clear to her: he disdained to even pretend. Such confidence could only co from a powerful trump card.

The more she thought about it, the more Lingji realized she couldn't afford to be careless. Even as she feigned resentnt, she vanished from her spot, reaching out to grab Si Lanyi, who was closest to her.

But then... there was no 'then.' To her horror, all the won had vanished!

It's not that they weren't affected by the poison... this is his doing!

"What is the aning of this, Young Master Ning? You didn't send them into a Storage Ring, did you? That would be very dangerous. A Storage Ring can't sustain living beings for long, though they might last for a while with their strength. More importantly, my Immortal's Drunkenness will detonate if it's in a sealed space. You know the consequences of that..."

Lingji stopped speaking abruptly. She couldn't see the slightest trace of panic on Ning Xuan's face, which ant her guess was wrong.

"Alright, Young Master Ning, I concede." Lingji's tone changed as she began to flatter him. "You are, without a doubt, the most exceptional man I have ever t!"

But as she spoke, she prepared to strike without rcy.
