Hushed murmurs swept through the small crowd of Talented.

"Did he just say sorcery?"

" Is he insane? That doesn’t make sense at all."

" Look here, you idiot, none of this makes sense."

" So what exactly do you need us to do?" Anthony asked.

Lucian curiously threw the pale Talented a side-long glance.

"Interesting, he doesn’t seem surprised by this at all... "

Morgan smiled faintly.

"For to successfully weaken the enchantnt, we’ll need..."

He explained his plan to the seven youths in detail, answering a few of their questions as well.

"If that’s all, let’s give it a shot."

Anthony and Brant gathered several of the more powerful Talented, and soon a large crowd of them had gathered in front of the giant water channel.

Morgan’s plan was simple.

The enchantnt worked akin to a circuit breaker.

With a certain amount of current, the circuit would collapse, preventing further current flow; that is, it would prevent Morgan and the others from reaching their destination.

But what would happen if the circuit breaker, in this case, the enchantnts, were removed?

The current would flow on indefinitely and eventually exhaust itself, or rather, destroy the dium through which it flowed.

But first, Morgan needed enough power to overload the circuit.

And that’s where the Talented ca in.

All the different Talents wielded different deadly abilities that were bound to put imnse strain on the phenonon, stretching the space.

Morgan’s gaze swept over the Talented gathered.

Looking at them, the gravity of the situation weighed on him.

Most of the youths gathered stared at him with a faint glimr of hope in their eyes and even a hint of desperation.

A silent tension hangs in the air.

The whole crowd was abuzz with a palpable excitent that was almost infectious.

Lucian stared up at Morgan with a somber expression.

Behind him, crystal clear water calmly flowed through the great channel.

"I know you’re all probably confused about why you’ve all been gathered here today. The reason is quite simple. I believe there may be a way for us to break through the barrier that bars us from reaching the inner part of the city.

" Why do we need to get through?"

Morgan smiled.

" I’m glad you asked. We believe that in the innermost part of the city, there could be a way for us to reach ho.

At the announced end, the sense of excitent built up until it reached a fever pitch.

" Before that, I’m going to need all of your help.

And what exactly do you need us to do?

Morgan grinned mischievously.

"On my mark. I’m going to need you all to run as far as possible towards the wall.

At the point when you notice the space beginning to stretch, unleash your abilities simultaneously."

" Do your best not to harm each other.

The whole point of this is to overload the phenonon. After that, I’ll handle the rest."

The Talented looked skeptical at this plan.

" Are you even sure this plan of yours is going to work?

Morgan silently shook his head.

There’s no guarantee that it’ll work. But I think it’s definitely worth a shot."

Anthony and Brant got into position, stretching at the makeshift starting line.

"Well, what are the rest of you lot waiting for? " Brant asked.

The Talented slowly organized themselves into long, orderly lines.

"This is looking more like a marathon by the minutes Cassius murmured in amusent.

On my mark, " Morgan instructed. " Just run as fast as you can.

As soon as the gates co into view and the space distortion begins, unleash your abilities for as long as you can. Of course, make sure not to injure each other in the process.

Logically, looking at it, the very thought of such an attack didn’t make sense.

In the past, they’d fought against opponents made of flesh and even substance. In their case, throwing their attacks at a seemingly non-sentient entity was probably the height of absurdity, no matter how he looked at it, and yet that was exactly what they were going to do.

He even shuddered to think of the outco of being the target of such a large number of combined attacks.

Any foe they faced would have been

obliterated within a matter of monts, and yet this was Tenebris, a dinsion where the impossible was possible.

Morgan ntally counted down in his head. He’d made sure to note the ti it took every ti the arkness chased away the radiant light, and sure enough, the seconds slowly ticked by....

" Are you sure you want to do this?" Sarenus asked calmly.

Morgan gritted his teeth and then grinned.

" What do you think?"

" Five...four three..."

" GET READY!!!" He yelled.

"two...Mark!..."

The tide of Talented burst forth with force akin to a barely restrained dam.

In the next mont, a swarm of bodies charged forward, so taking to the air and others using their abilities to shift themselves forward.

The ground beca light beneath Brant’s feet, each step propelling him towards the distant wall with explosive speed.

" You cheat!" Anthony yelled with a grin.

Brant smirked, surfing the ground fluidly, almost as though he was atop a wave.

The ground ndes itself in his wake.

Other Talented with wind aspects kept up with him, the air parting smoothly in their wake.

A few monts later, two dark streaks pushed ahead of the crowd, moving to the very front.

Two twin gusts of wind blasted past him, his hair fluttering in their wake.

Brant gasped in shock, his glowing eyes narrowing in disbelief.

He montarily slowed down in surprise.

" What the hell is that?"

" It’s the assassins!"

With umbralis augnting their movents, Lucian and Talia moved with near inhuman speed, far surpassing that of the Talented.

In fact, only those like Brant and a few biologically talented individuals could keep up with their speed.

Within monts, their movents felt wrong.

It’s like pushing against a rushing stream of water.

The air itself beca viscous, trapping them in a mire.

" Now!" Lucian roared.

What the scions lacked in abilities, they made up for in raw brute strength and speed.

Talia and Lucian montarily ca to a stop and began hurling several punches at the air in front of them.

If they’d been alone, the impact would have been minimal, but by syncing the force of their punches, focused waves of force erupted from their fists, surging towards the distant wall.

The Elental Types in the air noted the sync attacks and then stopped gathering their energy as well.

" Together! As one!"

The light in their eyes intensified exponentially.

In the next mont, a giant gust of air surged, forming an illusory wave of epic proportions.

The mass of air completely skipped Talia, and Lucian then surged forward with an earth-wrenching groan.

The buildings on either side of the canal remained still for a mont, then, impossibly, they began to shift.

Small cracks began to appear in their surfaces, then rapidly spread, quickly growing into gigantic fissures that erupted through the ground.

The normal, crystal clear, placid water violently exploded outward, joining the calamitous wave in its cataclysmic charge.

The wave of destruction moved forward violently, rushing forward, then montarily ca to a stop, overlapping with Talia and Lucian’s attacks.

In that brief mont, the three forces of nature perceptibly quaked, then violently rged, barrelling forward.

Talia gasped at the sight, stopping in her tracks.

"What the hell?"

Lucian was similarly speechless.

" Duck!"

Talia and Lucian instinctively rolled to the ground, diving to the sides.

The Elentals in the air took to the sky,y swerving out of the way.

In the next mont, a gargantuan tide of flas barreled forward, washing over the ground in catastrophic pillars of destruction and heat.

Suddenly, the pressure around the flabws and the surging tsunami increased several fold, bolts of unnatural lightning flaring at the centre of the storm.

The wind-type elentals swiftly ford a circle in the air, standing loosely.

Cassius felt the change before he saw it.

In the midst of the destruction, the wind began to swirl, slowly becoming a massive vortex of profane power.

Several more abilities surged forward, the sky lighting up in a terrifying cacophony of light and sound.

The horrific symphony forward, destroying everything in its path, and then, impossibly enough, it ca to a stop.

The tide of flas and wind slowly swirled in place, seemingly frozen in ti, all the gathered energy freezing in place.

Every youth ca to a standstill watching the unfolding phenonon in wondrous shock.

" How is this even possible?" Despite their best efforts, the dark, sinister walks in the inner city still seed as distant as ever.

The darkness rushed forward, creeping across the sky with vivid hunger.

The light slowly disappeared, gradually fading from sight.

A chilling wind spread throughout the frozen section of the city.

In its wake, a searing heat soon followed with slight tremors rupturing through the concrete structures.

Darkness erupted, obscuring the vast water channel from view.

Then a blinding light pierced through the darkness.
