‎The air seed to crackle with tension as Morgan and Emily stood rooted to the spot, their eyes locked on the pair that stood before them.

‎Alsterius, with his imposing presence, exuded a calm yet formidable aura, while the woman standing before him carried an air of mystery that was both captivating and intimidating.

‎The golden etchings on his robe seed to glow with the sa golden light, a stark contrast to the dark robe he was wearing.

‎The woman’s red robe seed to move fluidly around her, even though she was seated.

‎It was as if the very atmosphere around them shifted, charged with an intensity that defied explanation.

‎Morgan’s mind raced, trying to process the implications of encountering such powerful figures.

‎Emily, on the other hand, felt a strange mix of fear and fascination.

‎"How is this even possible? Are we supposed to even be here..."

‎The atmosphere inside the hall gave off an ancient feeling.

‎Intricate markings were engraved in the walls, giving the hall an air that demanded veneration.

‎The world around them seed to hold its breath, waiting for what would unfold next.

‎The sheer amount of concentrated power in the room was staggering.

‎The amount of mystic energy rolling through the room was discernible even through the strange barrier that kept them as spectators.

‎"Do you think he saw us?"Emily whispered.

‎Alsterius’ gaze had briefly brushed over them, almost indicating that even with the strange barrier, he knew about their presence.

‎If he knew then, what were the odds that the woman in red was simply ignoring them as well?

‎Or it could be a coincidence.

‎Morgan shook his head slightly, furrowing his brows in thought.

‎His eyes narrowed, gaze shifting between the two figures.

‎" I don’t know, but... I think so... I’m not exactly sure..."

‎In the next mont, the woman’s lodic voice rang out through the giant throne room.

‎" And what brings you to my humble abode, Lord of Light..."

‎Alsterius smiled, casually gesturing with his hands.

‎In the next mont, vivid golden flas sprang to life around him, forming a modest chair that he promptly sat on.

‎Alsterius nonchalantly threw his arms into the air, a smile appearing on his face.

‎"Don’t be like that, Mally. Aren’t I allowed to visit a dear friend?"

‎Grinning faintly, he raised a hand, scratching his burnished beard in thought.

‎"Co to think of it. How long has it been? Ten years? Fifty years? A century?

‎The woman stared at him for a long mont, then eventually sighed, shaking her head slightly.

‎"You and I both know that that isn’t the reason you’re here."

‎Alsterius smiled, his lips curling faintly.

‎He crossed his legs, stippling his fingers together and leaned forward.

‎"You saw right through . You’re a tough one, Red."

‎In the next mont, his voice took on a solemn tone.

‎"You’re right. I’m here because of my brother, Asterix."

‎Malinla cocked her head, the hood covering her eyes falling even lower.

‎"Is that so?" she asked, her lodic voice ringing through the gargantuan throne room.

‎"What is your charming, good-for-nothing brother up to these days? I haven’t seen him in centuries."

‎" I’ll be straight to the point. A little birdie saw him in your Realm. A trustworthy source."

‎Alsterius leaned back, staring up at the sky nonchalantly. Sohow, his golden eyes glowed eerily even in the brilliant light of day.

‎There was a strange intensity to his gaze.

‎"Are you working with him, Red?"

‎Malinla stared at him for a few monts in silence.

‎In that mont, Morgan understood that they were witnessing sothing that had probably altered the course of history.

‎"Is this the real purpose of the knowledge sealed within the sanctuaries? And which brother is he talking about?"

‎After so ti in silence, the mysterious woman got to her feet.

‎The brutish creatures at the side of her throne fell to one knee.

‎"You already know the answer to that question."

‎The gilded hood on her face fell back, exposing the most beautiful woman Morgan had ever seen. Morgan couldn’t help but stare, captivated by the mysterious aura that surrounded her. The woman seed to radiate a magnetic energy, drawing him closer despite the eerie undertones of her appearance.

‎Her eyes shone with ethereal crimson light.

‎Her skin was an unnatural pale white colour that sohow made her all the more alluring.

‎Her lips were startling red, the colour of blood.

‎Despite her inhuman beauty, there was sothing strangely terrifying about the woman that made Morgan instinctively recoil in fear.

‎A stark contrast between attraction and primal fear.

‎The two youths stared at the enchanting woman’s hypnotic beauty, trying and failing to pull their eyes away from her.

‎After a few monts, Morgan realized that it wasn’t just a taphor.

‎"I can’t move...at all..."

‎Morgan’s body froze in place, refusing to budge even an inch.

‎"What kind of sorcery is this?! An ability?"

‎Emily stood next to him, the Talented girl frozen in place.

‎In that mont, he was convinced without a doubt of one thing.

‎The only thing standing between them and possibly certain death was the strange barrier.

‎The throne room’s doors burst open a split second later, admitting several grotesque monsters.

‎The Bretnar kings, from earlier, flew in surrounding the giant throne, their tenebrous, mbranous wings propelling them through the air with uncanny speed.

‎In the next mont, a large shadow blotted out the sky.

‎Alsterius got to his feet with a faint smile on his face.

‎The fiery seat behind him disappeared in a flash of light.

‎A pulse of power ripped through the air, cutting through the hall.

‎Suddenly, Morgan and Emily could breathe again.

‎The two fell to their knees, gasping for breath.

‎Staring up at the sky, Morgan felt his insides churn in fear.

‎"Are those dragons?"

‎Emily let out a stifled shriek, reflexively grabbing her mouth a mont later.

‎"Shit! We’ve got to get out of here."

‎In the next second, a wave of crimson energy roared through the hall, exerting a terrible pressure that even cracked the walls of the throne.

‎A faint crackle of electricity and raw power thrumd through the great hall.

‎The Bretnar kings began to morph, drastically increasing in size. The Bretnars’ hardened, turning a luminescent tallic colour.

‎Their already massive claws and fangs lengthened, gleaming in the light, reaching an unnatural length.

‎Just then, a massive roar ripped through the hall, staggering even the creatures

‎gathered within the massive hall.

‎Two massive dragons joined the first, perching on the towering walks of the throne rooms.

‎Their eyes glimred with an ancient intelligence, fixing their gazes on the figure at the centre of the room.

‎The air was thick with tension, and the faint sound of scales scraping against stone echoed throughout the chamber.

‎The creatures seed to communicate silently, their presence commanding respect and instilling a sense of awe and horror in Morgan and Emily’s hearts.

‎"Isn’t this a little overkill, Mally? This is quite the reception you’ve prepared for ... Is this supposed to be your idea of entertainnt, perhaps?"

‎The red-robed woman stared at him silently, her eyes glowing coldly.

‎"I think you’ve overstayed your welco, Alsterius."

‎Alsterius let out a sigh, smiling slightly.

‎"But I only just got here...Well, I had to try, you know..." he said, his voice growing colder.

‎Alsterius somberly stared at Malinla.

‎"You of all people should know who you’re dealing with.

‎In the next mont, a massive wave of light enveloped the room, washing over everything with a searing heat.

‎Morgan and Emily scread, shielding themselves from the light, and in the next mont, they found themselves back in the ancient temple.

‎***

‎"Did you know about this encounter, Sarenus?"

‎After a few monts, Sarenus’ voice resounded through his head.

‎"No, I wasn’t aware of this eting before this."

‎Morgan had thought about the conversation between the two lords for a while.

‎"However, sothing that could draw your interest to this entire thing would be the fact that so of the creatures seen here in Tenebris are from Malinla’s realm."

‎How is that even possible then?

‎"While it’s rare, in certain circumstances, a realm can break. This is usually when the master of a Realm is defeated.

‎When this happens, the vestiges of a realm’s power are usually destroyed along with the Lord of that realm, but in this case, it seems so of them survived.

‎"Are you saying that Alsterius killed her?"

‎Morgan could hear the hesitation in Sarenus’s voice

‎" I’m not exactly sure, but I’m confident that the Beast realm was broken.

‎And even if Malinla is still alive, then her power is severely broken.

‎" Morgan..."

‎Emily’s voice drew him out of the internal conversation he was having.

‎"What’s up?"

‎Emily gave him a strange look, a faint smile twitching on her lips.

‎" You weren’t actually talking to yourself, were you?"

‎Morgan returned her gaze, feigning genuine surprise.

‎" What makes you say that?"

‎Staring directly at Morgan’s shadow, she spoke.

‎" There’s a strange wraith in your shadow. I can see it."
