“Flight altitude 7807 ters, radar has not detected any suspicious targets, entering cruise state.”

“Descending 1000 ters, entering cruise state, arriving at A02 military base in 8 hours.”

“Sedatives will be administered to Sparrows again in 15 minutes.”

Inside a Class A Airship flying north, the pilot's reports crackled over the intercom, accompanied by the hum of electricity.

The airship was enormous, its interior like a spacious, five-to-six hundred square ter penthouse apartnt.

Four pilots sat in the spacious cockpit, facing a 360-degree holographic exterior view. Two were responsible for piloting, one for primary weaponry, and one for auxiliary weapon systems.

The airship was remarkably steady in the air, without the slightest tremor.

Qing Chen slowly awoke in the rear compartnt. He didn't open his eyes, instead assessing his condition.

His body was again bound in bandages, the strong sll of antiseptic perating the air; soone had redressed his wounds.

The pain in his wounds was less intense, and his broken ribs had been realigned.

Outside his ntal palace, golden electrical arcs crackled, and much of his depleted awakened power had been restored.

More than half of the Nanobots within his body had been eliminated, but the little fellows that remained were still active.

Strangely, Qing Chen's arms were once again secured with finger and wrist restraints, limiting his hand movent.

Over his body was a black restraint suit, tightly wrapping him. Qing Chen felt like he was enveloped by a giant bat's wings, his arms completely immobile.

Qing Chen recognized the device; it was a restraint suit specifically designed to prevent B-Class and below tahumans from committing suicide. Once inside, it was impossible to escape from the inside.

However, there was sothing odd about this. Since Shendai Yunhe had witnessed him silently unlock his finger and wrist restraints, why were they still securing him with them?

This thing clearly couldn't restrain him.

Wait.

Qing Chen suddenly understood sothing. Shendai Yunhe hadn't successfully linked up with the Shendai forces responsible for the extraction, preventing them from sharing the information with the Shendai Consortium.

Therefore, the Shendai Consortium forces would, as usual, restrain him using finger and wrist restraints.

Also, Qing Chen's hair hadn't been shaved. If Shendai Yunhe were present, he probably wouldn't have kept his hair.

The other party had, after all, had half his arm cut off by his own hair.

Similarly... the Shendai Consortium didn't know that he couldn't be mind-controlled. Previously, Shendai Yunhe and the others hadn't had the opportunity to convey this information.

Qing Chen closed his eyes in thought.

Was Shendai Yunhe dead? Did the person who saved him really catch up to him?

Regardless of what happened, Shendai Yunhe's failure to et up with the Shendai Consortium's extraction team was his opportunity.

His current predicant was:

First, his movents were restricted by the restraint suit.

Second, this extraction team would most likely not have another A-Class expert. Logically, Shendai Yunhe should have retreated with him, as this A-Class expert was the commander of this operation.

Kidnapping a C-Class, deploying an A-Class expert, plus the significant manpower and resources, was a considerable undertaking.

Finally, an information gap existed between the Shendai Consortium and him.

It must be said that Shendai Yunhe was the first A-Class expert he had truly engaged with. As Shadow said, experts at this level were incredibly difficult to kill, not sothing a C-Class could provoke.

Even by using the advantage of timing and location, calculating everything, and even sacrificing his awakened state, he had only managed to cripple one of the opponent's arms.

This strengthened Qing Chen's resolve. If he could return to the Outer World alive, his first action would be to complete the next Trials of Life and Death challenge.

He didn't have ti for sufficient preparation, but a Knight grew in danger.

At this mont, Qing Chen felt soone approaching in the cabin. He closed his eyes, carefully analyzing the breathing sounds of the 21 people in the Class A Airship, including the four pilots.

Just as he finished his calculations, six ShendaiGene Soldiers ca to his side, pressing down on various parts of his body, preparing to inject sedatives.

Qing Chen suddenly opened his eyes: “I am Takahashi Touju, the Neural Link mission has been completed.”

The Gene Soldiers in this Class A Airship were all stunned. They knew Takahashi Touju, and they knew about the Neural Link mind-control mission.

Logically, Commander Shendai Yunhe had captured Qing Chen, and successful mind control would have been reasonable...

Aboard the Airship, soone contacted the secret A02 military base: “Report, Commander, Sparrows has awakened. He claims to be Takahashi Touju and has successfully completed the mind-control mission.”

The communication channel crackled: “Open the holographic channel, conduct verification.”

The six Gene Soldiers escorted Qing Chen to the cockpit. In the middle of the spacious cockpit, a holographic image ford, showing a middle-aged man with a gloomy expression.

Qing Chen recognized him. Takahashi Touju had a particularly strong impression of this person; he was one of the commanders of the Eight-Forked organization, Shendai Yunzhi.

“Na.”

“Takahashi Touju.”

“Place of birth.”

“Yanhuacho, City 22.”

“Father's na.”

“Takahashi Ichiro.”

“Your identification code.”

“4103031...” Qing Chen recited 27 digits in one breath. It was the identification code that Takahashi Touju had morized countless tis; every mber of the Eight-Forked organization had their own unique code that they had to morize.

To be fair, it's quite difficult for an ordinary person to morize this on the spot.

Shendai Yunzhi asked over a hundred questions related to Takahashi Touju, seemingly having prepared to verify his identity after mind-controlling Qing Chen.

And Qing Chen answered all over a hundred questions flawlessly.

Ten of them were trick questions, and Qing Chen perfectly refuted them.

This was the only way to verify identity after Neural Link mind control.

So, from any perspective, Qing Chen was undoubtedly Takahashi Touju at this mont, unless Shendai Yunhe appeared to expose his secret of mory absorption.

Shendai Yunzhi's holographic image closed, and no one injected Qing Chen with sedatives again.

After half an hour of silence in the Class A Airship, Shendai Yunzhi, after reporting the matter to soone, finally made a decision: “Unbind ‘Qing Chen,’ proceed with the original plan, and bring him back to base A02!”

When he spoke, Shendai Yunzhi's expression showed a hint of excitent, vividly reflected in the holographic image.

It seed that once Qing Chen's mind control was complete, many of their plans could proceed smoothly!

Shendai Yunzhi continued, “Takahashi Touju, you are a hero of the Yamato nation. I've already petitioned my superiors, and your mother will be awarded the First-Class rit Mother honor. I hope you continue to shoulder your mission!”

Qing Chen suddenly saluted, placing his right fist on his chest, following the Shendai Consortium's etiquette: “For the glory of the family!”

At this mont, Shendai Yunzhi suddenly asked, “By the way, where's Shendai Yunhe?”

Qing Chen's expression suddenly turned sorrowful: “Commander Shendai Yunhe was supposed to escape the cave with . To ensure my safe return to the family, he had to lure the enemy onto a detour alone, while I escaped. Commander, Commander Shendai Yunhe's loyalty to the family is sothing I can only aspire to!”

As Qing Chen spoke, he was genuinely moved to tears.

Even among the Gene Soldiers in the Airship, several had reddened eyes.

Shendai Yunzhi remained silent for a few seconds: “This ti, the enemy deployed experts like Li Changqing, sothing the family didn't expect. If he had followed the original plan, he wouldn't have sacrificed himself to complete the mission. But there has been no news of his death; with his abilities, he should still have so life-saving asures in that cave. Let's hope he returns safely.”

The lack of news about Shendai Yunhe's death was the worst possible news.

In fact, for Qing Chen, if Shendai Yunhe returned to the north alive, everything he had done would be in vain.

And impersonating Takahashi Touju also had other risks.

The failure of the Shendai Consortium's mind-control plan, besides Shendai Yunhe, the "reinforcents' could also guess.

Although Li Changqing would try his best to keep it secret, the Shendai had been harboring ill intentions for many years. Who could guarantee that among the thousands of soldiers on the Qingshan Airship Fortress, there were no spies from the Shendai Consortium?

The Qingshan Fortress was a strategic-level weapon. If the Shendai were to choose an infiltration target, this behemoth would be a top priority.

Therefore, Qing Chen's top priority was still to find a way to leave as soon as possible.

Impersonating Takahashi Touju was rely a stopgap asure.

He wasn't interested in risking his life, dancing on the edge of a knife.

Maybe Shendai Yunhe was dead, maybe not. Qing Chen had to prepare for the worst.

Shendai Yunzhi looked at Qing Chen and said, “Rest and recover. Once you return to base, the family will have a new mission for you. But I hope you can understand that the family needs to take so precautions.”

After he finished speaking, the Gene Soldiers in the airship held down Qing Chen and injected two tiny capsules into the outer sides of his calves and forearms.

Those were two miniature bombs and tracking devices.

If Qing Chen showed any abnormalities, they would imdiately remotely detonate them.

His heart sank. The other party clearly didn't fully trust him.

But Qing Chen wasn't too worried about the two miniature bombs. After all, the bombs and tracking devices relied on microchips to function.

If an Awakened One who controls thunder was afraid of this, then awakening would be a joke.

So Qing Chen didn't resist, but instead said solemnly, “For the glory of the family, I have no regrets!”

“Good,” Shendai Yunzhi said, then closed the holographic image.

The atmosphere in the Class A Airship eased. A pilot laughed, “Takahashi Touju, you kid are amazing; you really succeeded in mind control. As long as you can play the role of ‘Qing Chen’ well, you'll never lack wealth and honor.”

“Haha, I didn't expect that kid ‘Qing Chen’ is much easier to deal with than Qing Mu. The people in the Qing Family intelligence system are getting worse and worse.”

“Once Takahashi Touju appears as Qing Chen and declares his allegiance to the Shendai Consortium, Shadow's expression will surely be very interesting, although no one knows what he looks like.”

“They say that kid Qing Chen is very difficult to deal with, but it's not as exaggerated as the rumors. If the family had sent to City 10, I would have taken care of him long ago.”

The Airship's captain said coldly, “It's not ti to celebrate yet. Everyone, let's first consider whether we can successfully reach base A02.”

Qing Chen looked around, silently observing everything.
