Ouroboros turned toward Grey with a smile.

"Now we move onto something else," she said. "This one will be particularly useful for you and your server."

Grey raised an eyebrow with visible curiosity.

"It’s called the Infinity Mind."

Alissa tilted her head slightly, unfamiliar with the concept.

Ouroboros raised her hand and tapped her own temple gently.

"The Infinity Barrier protects your body from physical attacks, but what about mental assaults? What about illusions, soul attacks, or techniques that target your consciousness directly?"

Grey’s expression shifted as he understood the implications.

"The Infinity Mind creates the same principle but applied inward," Ouroboros explained. "Instead of creating infinite distance between yourself and external threats, you create infinite refresh cycles within your own consciousness."

She gestured toward Grey specifically.

"For most Infinity Dragons, this technique requires constant mental discipline, but you possess something unique. Your server can handle the putational load automatically."

Grey’s eyes flickered with golden circuits as he processed her words.

"You want me to set my server to continuously refresh my mental state," he realized. "Any foreign influence would be overwritten before it could take hold."

Ouroboros nodded approvingly.

"Exactly. Your server already processes information at extraordinary speeds, if you configure it to reset your consciousness infinitely, no mental attack could ever plete its invasion."

She created a small sphere of purple energy in her palm.

"This contains a basic illusion technique. It will attempt to trap your mind in a false reality."

Grey prepared himself.

"Without the Infinity Mind, even someone at your level could be affected momentarily," Ouroboros warned. "Watch what happens first."

She released the sphere toward Alissa.

The purple energy struck Alissa’s forehead and her eyes glazed over instantly. Her body went rigid as the illusion took hold of her consciousness.

Three seconds passed.

Alissa blinked rapidly and shook her head, the illusion fading as her Infinity Dragon constitution rejected it.

"That felt horrible," she muttered, rubbing her temples.

Ouroboros nodded.

"Three seconds is impressive resistance for someone without training, but three seconds in bat could mean death."

She turned back toward Grey.

"Now, configure your server to refresh your mental state continuously. Create an infinite loop that overwrites your consciousness faster than any invasion can establish itself."

Grey closed his eyes and accessed his internal systems.

His server hummed with activity as he began restructuring its processes. He created a new subroutine dedicated entirely to mental refresh cycles.

The loop initialized.

His consciousness flickered briefly as the first refresh pleted. Then another, and another, each one happening faster than the last.

He pushed the refresh rate higher.

The cycles accelerated beyond measurable intervals, his mental state resetting infinitely within each passing moment. Any thought that entered his mind was immediately validated against his core consciousness.

Foreign elements would be identified and purged before they could influence him.

"Good," Ouroboros observed. "Now let’s test it."

She created another illusion sphere, this one larger and more potent than the one she had used on Alissa.

Grey opened his eyes and faced it directly.

The sphere launched toward him at tremendous speed.

It struck his forehead and attempted to invade his consciousness. Purple energy flooded into his mental space, trying to construct false images and manipulate his perception.

Grey’s server detected the intrusion instantly.

The refresh cycle activated.

The illusion shattered before it could form a single coherent image. His consciousness reset pletely, purging every fragment of foreign influence in the same moment it appeared.

He felt nothing.

No false visions, no momentary confusion, no resistance required. The attack simply ceased to exist within his mind.

"Perfect," Ouroboros said with genuine satisfaction. "Your server handles the technique far more efficiently than biological consciousness ever could."

Grey smiled faintly at the result.

"The refresh rate is essentially infinite," he confirmed. "Any mental attack would need to plete its invasion within a timeframe that doesn’t exist."

Ouroboros held up her hand.

"But there is another application," she continued. "One that will benefit your server directly."

"Your server has a maximum processing capacity, correct? A limit to how much data it can handle before being overloaded."

Grey nodded slowly.

"Currently, yes. I’ve been planning upgrades to expand its capabilities."

Ouroboros smiled knowingly.

"The Infinity Mind can solve that problem without any physical upgrades. But to do so, you must remember what ’Infinity’ actually means for our race. It is not just endlessness: it is the separation of cause and effect through boundless space or time."

She gestured toward his head.

"If a standard machine refreshes its processing state, it wipes its active memory. The data is lost. But you can apply the Infinity principle inward to sever the connection between the result of a calculation and the strain of performing it."

"I create an infinite distance between the data and the burden," Grey realized. "I can isolate the exact microsecond a calculation pletes and stretch it. The pleted data is instantly pushed across the barrier into permanent storage, while the accumulated processing load, the system strain, is dumped into an infinite void."

"Exactly," Ouroboros confirmed. "The refresh cycle doesn’t wipe your memory; it wipes the putational friction. Because you are an Infinity Dragon, you dictate the boundaries of your own internal space as a result, the load resets to zero, but the output is perfectly preserved."

Grey immediately began implementing the concept.

He restructured the Infinity Mind subroutine to enpass his entire server architecture. Instead of just a simple loop, he wove the concept of infinite spatial division between his active processing nodes and his memory partitions.

The first cycle pleted.

His server’s current load dropped to zero as the putational strain was banished into infinity, yet all calculated results remained safely anchored in his storage.

Another cycle followed instantly.

Then another.

Grey pushed a massive data pilation into his server, the same Infinity Dragon metadata that had previously strained his systems to their limits.

His server processed the information effortlessly.

The load indicators spiked briefly, but before the strain could register on his hardware, the refresh cycle swallowed the burden. More data flooded in, calculations running at maximum speed. The system was caching the results while infinitely discarding the stress.

Grey’s lips curved into a genuine smile.

"This is incredible," he murmured. "There’s no limit anymore."

Ouroboros nodded with satisfaction.

"The Infinity Mind turns your server into something truly infinite. Processing power without boundaries, calculations without strain, capacity without limits."

Grey tested the system further.

He loaded every database he possessed simultaneously, running plex analyses across all of them at once. His server processed everything without the slightest indication of stress.

The refresh cycles maintained perfect stability.

"With this," Grey said thoughtfully, "the race fusion I attempted earlier might be possible."

Ouroboros raised an eyebrow.

"Are you sure you can do it?"

Grey nodded.

"My server couldn’t handle the putational plexity before. Now it can process the data infinitely without ever reaching capacity. It should be fine."

The racial fusion would require careful planning, but the primary obstacle had been removed.

Ouroboros then turned toward Alissa.

"Your training will take longer since you lack a server and the capabilities Grey has," she said. "But the principle remains the same."

Over the next several hours, Ouroboros guided Alissa through the Infinity Mind technique.

The training proved difficult without automated systems to handle the refresh cycles. Alissa had to maintain conscious control over her mental state while allowing her Infinity Dragon instincts to guide the process.

She failed repeatedly at first.

Illusion after illusion penetrated her defenses before she could establish proper refresh cycles. Each failure taught her something new about the technique’s requirements.

Gradually, her resistance improved.

The invasion times shortened from seconds to fractions of seconds. Her consciousness learned to flow endlessly, never stagnating long enough for foreign elements to take root.

Finally, after countless attempts, Alissa achieved stability.

An illusion sphere struck her forehead and dissolved instantly. Her mind had moved past that moment before the attack could plete its formation.

"Well done," Ouroboros praised. "You’ve grasped the essence of the technique."

Alissa exhaled with visible relief.

The training had been exhausting, but the results were undeniable. Her mental defenses had bee nearly absolute.

Ouroboros observed both of them with evident satisfaction.

"You have now mastered the two fundamental Infinity Dragon techniques," she declared. "The Infinity Barrier protects your body while the Infinity Mind protects your consciousness."

She glanced toward Grey specifically.

"And in your case, the Infinity Mind has removed your server’s limitations entirely."

Grey nodded thoughtfully.

The implications were staggering. His putational capabilities had bee theoretically infinite, opening possibilities he had never considered before.

"Alright with this, you both have prehended the most basic application of Infinity. This is just the tip of the iceberg. but for now go rest." Ouroboros instructed. "Let your bodies fully integrate with your new abilities before we continue."

Grey and Alissa exchanged a glance.

The faint Infinity Symbols in their eyes reflected each other’s light.

Today had been extraordinarily productive.

With that, they retired and Grey also arranged a room for Ouroboros to stay. But, as soon as she entered the room, she turned into an entire planet made out of infinity power.

She said she hated being in the Human Form and wanted enough space to transform back to her dragon form.

Grey didn’t mind this.

...

After entering his room. Grey wore a thoughtful expression.

He was thinking about his race.

Before, he was a cumulation of everything with no direction but he was at a state where he could use his powers to forge his own race.

His own race and his own evolutionary path.

The effect of that would be unimaginable.

"I also need to figure out the 9th rank." Grey sighed.

Life will never get easy. He had to work hard daily and e up with a new whole stage now and there were countless beings waiting for his path as well.
