"They look rough.."

"Goodness, what happened..?"

"Why is Coco roughed up?"

"Look at her husband, he looked like he didn’t want to be by her side."

The words that Coco heard have been nothing, but nuances.

Especially when they have not stopped whispering among themselves the mont she ca back with a flying pig on her shoulder and roughed up looking diator trailing behind her, looking upset for so reason.

Zaque looked upset, his eyebrows creased together in a frown and his jaw set in a hard line, his knuckles were almost white from how tight he was gripping the basket by his side.

He refused to et Coco’s eyes, his eyes were focused sowhere else, gaze fixed on the ground beneath him and avoiding Coco’s eyes.

Coco could see that he was upset about sothing, but she couldn’t figure out what it was.

They were okay when they were making their way down the mountain with Coco helping and holding Zaque’s hand whenever he tripped and stumbled on his footing.

He doesn’t seem to mind, however, she takes notice of how he reacts whenever she reaches out to catch him and he would reel away from her touch after saving him, turning away as if to hide his face.

So, since it was obvious, she knows that he doesn’t like or want to be touched by her, she would grab his arm or the back of his clothing instead to avoid making him uncomfortable, but it looked like Zaque didn’t like that, too.

Coco looked at the red haired diator beside her, her eyes taking in his expression.

Zaque must have sensed her stare because he took a quick glance at her, but his eyes went wide the mont their gazes t and imdiately darted away from her gaze, his cheeks flushed with color.

"He looks weird." The fairy comnted, staring at Zaque with a frown on her face.

She has been flying next to the diator’s head ever since he started to put distance between him and Coco, just curious as to what was running through his head to act like that towards her human friend.

As usual, Coco ignored Lala’s comntary and forced her eyes to be on the path ahead.

"Go ho and take a rest." Coco said to the diator without turning her head, "I’ll have sothing delivered at the house later for dinner and breakfast for tomorrow."

Coco didn’t see it, but Zaque’s lips ford into a tight line, a look of disbelief and disdain crossing his features as he glanced at her.

So, is she really planning to divorce him?

Even after all the things they went through together in that forest? Even after how she ran away from the monster just to keep him safe? Even after catching him when he was about to hit the ground?

Is she being serious?

Ding!

Ding!

Coco perked up slightly when she heard the familiar chi of the scroll in her head before the scroll appeared in front of her.

She blinked, reading the letters written in it.

[ Main Quest {5} done! Receiving rewards....]

[Activating Alhai’s Quest {1}, please wait a mont...]

It looks like I don’t have to worry about the farming date quest not being completed. Coco thought to herself, a small smile creeping to her lips, looking relieved and thankful.

She was feeling nervous of failing the quest, but seeing that it was successful, she couldn’t stop herself from feeling grateful.

Coco Hughes trashed Alhai’s books? Right after their marriage? Without even acknowledging the fact that those books have been with him ever since he was a child?

Coco’s right eye twitched.

Just how could soone be so trash that they might win a unique reward?

"Oooohh.. I can’t read what it says, but I’m hoping that you have successfully completed the quest." Lala’s voice reached Coco’s ears, the hopeful and happy tone in her voice made Coco shake her head, finding the fairy adorable.

Satisfied that she finished the quest and activated Alhai’s quest, the rest of the way towards the butcher shop beca delightful for Coco.

She felt bad for Alhai, but was not the one who should be responsible for Coco Hughes’s action.

However, she has no choice, but to obey the scroll’s given quest because if she didn’t complete them, she would either receive punishnt or won’t receive good abilities like her personal bank and skills.

She just has to finish the quest and she would be guaranteed for the next decade of her life, right?

Coco humd softly to herself, every step of hers is bouncy, skipping her way towards the butcher shop, a happy and proud smile on her face.

She had forgotten that she was walking with soone and had left him behind, completely lost in her happy land.

The butcher shop ca into view, the sight of it from the distance making the smile on Coco’s face grow wider, the feeling of excitent coursing through her.

She could already feel like the rest of her afternoon would be great and she also knows that she would be knocked out cold the mont she lay down on her bed.

Today was hectic after all.

Coco slamd the door of the butcher shop open, making it smack on the wall and startling the people inside greatly.

Though, her eyes weren’t on them, but on the large equipnt before her.
