Quizen walked out of the building he works at, his shoulders tense and aching from carrying the guitar around with him all day.

"Quizen." Cleora brightened up when she finally saw the diator. "Perfect timing, child! I was about to co and get you if you take any longer than this."

"That’s.." Quizen blinked, finding the right words. "Great..? Can you please tell what is going on?"

Cleora faced him and smiled. "We’re going on a trip."

"A trip?" The diator repeated.

Before anyone could clarify what was happening to Quizen, Jonathan stepped forward with his bag clutched tightly in his hand.

"It’s best to start walking back to the house now, Mrs. Coison." The diator stated bluntly and shot Quizen a pointed glance. "Regarding your answer, I think Coco would be the best fit to do it."

Quizen raised an eyebrow at those words and when Cleora didn’t bother rejecting Jonathan’s suggestion, the five of them started walking towards the direction of Coco’s house— of course, with a confused Quizen trailing behind them.

On the way to the house, the blue haired diator kept shooting a look between Jacques and Renaldo.

Cleora recently entered the picture and she may be Coco’s mother, but Jacques and Renaldo were the first ones to get along with his wife, so if sothing happened, then Coco would be more comfortable to tell them, right?

He tried to walk beside Renaldo, to ask him discreetly about what’s happening, but the diator was focused on his wife.

Okay, he gets it. Quizen would focus on Coco more than them, too, if given the chance.

Quizen could only let out a sigh and clutch the bag of skewers tightly, hoping that the group would move faster because he’s dying to wrap his arms around Coco and bury his face on her neck.

He may have shared a steamy night with her, but that doesn’t an that’s enough.

While pondering about what he wanted to do with Coco once he got ho, his eyes stray a little lower than expected and notice the bags on Jacques’ hands.

He raised an eyebrow and shifted his gaze on Jonathan, but didn’t see the bag he was carrying earlier in his grasp.

Instead, he saw another bag on Jacques’ other hand, which had one more bag.

The pink haired woman is carrying two bags on her left hand and one bag on her right, but for what reason? Why do they look like they’re going on a trip?

Speaking of which.. Cleora said that they’re going on a trip, right?

Does this an that they will be going with us? Quizen blinked and tilted his head, his eyes shifting between the married couple to the other scarred diator walking beside Jacques.

Eh, it’s not my business. The blue haired diator thought and quickly looked away.

Just as he was about to turn to Cleora, he spotted the house ahead of him and couldn’t stop himself from feeling the eagerness erge in his veins.

"I’ll go ahead." Quizen announced and didn’t bother waiting for any response from the other four before he started sprinting his way towards the house, his heart fluttering in his chest at the re thought of finally seeing Coco after a long day.

However, he stopped dead in his tracks when he noticed a carriage and a wagon parked right outside of the gates.

The color on his face imdiately drained and he assud the worst case scenario.

He ran to the wooden vehicles and sprinted past them, entering the gates without saying anything to the n that stopped when they saw him pass by them.

"Is that the husband they’re waiting for?" One of the workers asked, eyebrows furrowed.

"It seems so." Another responded, grunting under his breath as he heaved the wooden chest on his arms upper to his body. "Anyway, let’s get back to work. I heard that we will be leaving the city right after he arrives."

"Right, right.." The forr worker mumbled and stepped forward. "Let help you with that."

It wasn’t just the two of them who felt a little conflicted upon seeing Quizen ran inside the property, but unlike them, the others who witnessed the scene didn’t bother speaking up and just minded their businesses.

Quizen, on the other hand, burst through the front door.

"Coco?!" The diator called, his breath coming out in pants as he looked around. "Zaque?! Alhai?! Heiren— Kairo?! Where are you?"

He looked left and right, but only saw unfamiliar faces. Why are there so many people in the house anyway? Isn’t it too late for them to hire a worker? And why is the house strangely empty?

A lot of questions erged in Quizen’s mind, but all of them were left unanswered.

"Quizen." A familiar voice called down the hall and made the fourth husband perk up. "We’re in Kairo’s room, but it would be best if you check your room first to see if you have sothing you want to bring with you—"

As the person kept talking, they stepped out of the said room and Quizen felt relieved when he saw that it was just Zaque.

Quizen didn’t wait for the red haired diator to finish speaking when he suddenly crashed into him, his heart hanging in his throat and his eyes stinging with unshed tears.

"Woah—" Zaque gasped, his arms wrapping around Quizen. "What’s the matter?"

"W-Why is there a carriage outside?" Quizen croaked out, his voice shaking slightly as he did his best not to cry. "Why are there a lot of people inside the house? What’s happening?"

Zaque blinked, his eyebrows furrowing in worry. "Well, we’ll be leaving the city, so mother had her people pack up so of our things."

"Leaving?" Quizen repeated, sniffling.

"Yes, leaving." Zaque confird with a frown. "Coco got attacked this morning and it was Baroness Hughes who sent the attacker—"

"Coco got what?! Is she oka—" Quizen squeaked out, eyes wide in horror as he pushed himself off his friend, but he was interrupted when a familiar voice reached his ears.

"I’m fine, Quizen." Coco laughed, already expecting such a reaction from him.

The bar was strangely busy today for so reason, but Quizen didn’t complain because he also received a lot of tips from the patrons who liked his singing voice and music.

He let out a hum, the sound coming out a little scratchy, as his feet carried him through the busy evening street of the plaza.

He earned enough silver coins today— enough for him to stop by the clothing store to buy his wife a new shirt or robe, or pants, or underwear and give it to her as soon as he gets ho.

But before he could focus on that thought alone, he rembered Coco’s state before he left in the morning.

I have to go ho. The diator sighed through his nose, forcing his legs to pump faster to quicken his pace and carry him over to the next street where he will walk past Jacques’ house.

Or maybe I should stop by so of the food stalls and buy sothing for her to snack on? I’m quite certain Heiren won’t be able to cook sothing fast enough for Coco to eat.. He thought, eyes skimming past on the food stalls he’s about to pass to.

As he did so, he spotted soone very familiar with the stall that sold skewers to its custors.

Quizen let out a huff and made his way through the crowd, his hands outstretched before him to push people away gently from his path.

"Renaldo!" The diator called out to the scarred diator.

Renaldo paused in the middle of paying for the skewers he bought and turned around to look at the person who called his na, his eyebrows shooting up to his hairline.

"Quizen." The diator blinked, feeling a little surprised to see him. "Perfect timing."

Quizen stopped right beside Renaldo and smiled. "Perfect timing indeed. I was thinking of buying sothing for Coco to eat while Heiren or Zaque is cooking. Do you have sothing in mind?"

"Yeah, buy the rest of this croc and pig’s intestines skewers." Renaldo stated and pointed at the remaining skewers on the stand.

"I don’t know.." Quizen didn’t hesitate to show his reluctance as he stepped closer to the stall, his eyes scanning the appearance of the skewers with a frown. "I don’t think my wife would eat sothing like this."

"She would." The scarred diator insisted and nudged him on the arm. "Besides, it’s not like she will have a choice."

"What is that supposed to an?" Quizen raised an eyebrow, but he did as he was told.

He turned to the vendor who was waiting for their final decision and then he saw that Quizen would be buying the rest of his food, he brightened up and started putting the skewers on the grill.

"I’m buying all of it, sir." Quizen humd, smiling softly. "How much would all of that be?"

The vendor swallowed and looked at the skewers. "The pig intestine cost fifteen silver coins and I have twenty sticks with right now.. The croc is ten silver coins and there are fifteen sticks here."

The vendor started murmuring under his breath, calculating the final sum of Quizen’s order.

"That would be four hundred and fifty silver coins, good sir." The vendor announced quietly, his lips pulled into a pleasant smile.

Quizen nodded his head and fished out his bag of coins from his pocket. "Please give a mont."

Quizen turned away from the stall and faced Renaldo, his eyes taking in the sight of two plastic bags hanging on his right hand. "Can you lend a hand? I have approximately five hundred and fifty silver coins with ."

"Sure thing." Renaldo humd and held out his free hand. "Just drop the coin here and start counting."

Once again, Quizen did as he was told and started bringing out silver coins from the bag to place it on Renaldo’s open palm. He made sure that he counted correctly and brought out one hundred coins before handing the bag to the vendor.

"There’s four hundred and fifty silver coins inside." Quizen inford the man, making him nod his head and smile.

"I’ll trust you on that, sir." The vendor stated and grabbed the bag.

Quizen and Renaldo watched the man pour out all of the coins to the container beside him, the sound of the coins hitting each other echoing slightly in the busy street of the plaza.

"Here’s the bag, sir." The man held out the bag towards Quizen while his coworker handed the plastic bag to Renaldo.

"That was fast." Quizen comnted and eyed the plastic bag that was filled with the skewers he ordered. "I hope that you ward it enough for my wife and friends to enjoy."

"Of course." The man smiled and waved them off. "Thank you for the purchase. Please co again."

Quizen rely glanced at him for the last ti before turning to Renaldo and grabbing the bag from his hands.

"Thanks." The diator mumbled and sighed. "Anyway, let’s go."

"I’m right behind you." Renaldo humd, a small smile creeping to his lips as he watched the smaller diator walk forward towards his house.

"By the way, I think it would be best if you’re going together with us back to your house." He added, causing Quizen to freeze in his tracks and crane his neck to look at him.

"What for?" Quizen raised an eyebrow.

Renaldo didn’t answer him— not that he could, because they were already approaching his house and he could see that his wife, along with Jonathan, weren’t alone.

"My love!" Jacques called when she spotted him and Quizen. "Aunt Cleora decided to get us herself."

"I could see that." Renaldo mumbled, nodding his head at Cleora. "I bought food."

Cleora giggled and waved her hand. "Oh, goodness. You shouldn’t have bothered, but thank you! You’re such a dear."

"Okay.. What is going on?"
