"Oh my god." Cleora gasped as her arms wrapped around Coco, pulling her into a tight hug. "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god.."

Coco was quick to sob, her arms right around Cleora’s torso.

Her heart felt like it was being torn into pieces, only to be held up and glued back together again, and it was painful— painful, but relieving.

"You’re Coco, aren’t you? My Coco? My beloved Coco?" Cleora sobbed, her own cries slipping past her lips as she held Coco tightly against her. "Please tell you’re my baby."

Coco and Cleora held each other, the two of them falling to their knees.

The older woman fell to her bottom and pulled Coco close to her, wrapping her arms around her and carding her fingers through Coco’s black locks, her lips pressing kisses on Coco’s crown.

"Please, please, please, please." Cleora begged, chanting the words over and over again.

The two of them don’t know what she was begging for, or if she was just saying those words because she was under an overwhelming feeling of relief and happiness.

It didn’t matter to Coco.

Her cries filled with grief and relief echoed in the air, her voice muffled against Cleora’s chest.

"Mama, mama, mama.. Please, please, please tell you’re my mother.. I can’t deal with another heartache so please, please, please.." Coco sobbed out, her grip on Cleora’s shirt tightening as she cried.

All Coco could do is beg, just like Cleora.

The two of them were under the pressure of their emotions and couldn’t comprehend fully what the other wanted to convey.

But still, they seek comfort from each other.

It didn’t matter to the two of them how long they were sitting on the dirty ground, simply basking in each other’s presence, anchoring themselves that this is the reality and not so twisted dream.

"Oh, my baby." Cleora murmured, her voice raspy. "I have been looking for you this entire ti."

Cleora pushed Coco away, but her hands imdiately found their way to the younger woman’s cheeks, caressing the tears away.

"Look at how much you have grown." Cleora mumbled, lips quivering and tears falling once more. "It felt like a million years since I first departed from the castle to look for you.. And now, you’re in my arms, my baby girl."

Coco stared at Cleora’s eyes, which looked almost the sa shade of green as her eyes.

It was a little ironic that they aren’t blood related in this world, but they still have the sa features just like their original selves back on Earth.

Cleora has beautiful brown eyes, a shade of brown that would suck in anyone who had admired it for too long— and of all of Cleora’s features, it was what Coco inherited.

To think that she would also have Cleora’s eyes even in this world made Coco’s heart beat painfully.

Her eyes fluttered close and she started crying again, a sight that made Cleora let out a quiet laugh, but a cry of her own escaped her.

"You’re still the sa crybaby as before." The woman chuckled, wiping Coco’s tears with her thumbs. "You’re still the sa baby I rember.. I guess you haven’t grown that much, have you?"

It should have offended Coco, really.

But Coco couldn’t find it in herself to feel offended, instead, it made her sobbed— face twisted as she ugly cried, but she’s right in front of her mother, no? It’s a kind of face that her mother would love.

"Everything is fine now." Cleora cooed and laughed, pulling Coco back into her arms. "I found you. Mama finally got you."

"I missed you so much, mama." Coco breathed out, her voice trembling. "I missed you so damn much.."

"I missed you more, my love." Cleora humd, even though she was still crying, she felt sohow complete now that Coco is within reach, and she honestly wouldn’t want this reunion to be any other way.

Coco sniffled, the sounds muffled in Cleora’s chest. "Where have you b-been? What took you so long to find ?"

Coco couldn’t see Cleora’s face, but she felt her arms tighten around her.

"It’s.. It’s a very long story, but if you would like to hear it.. Would you like to co over to my house and talk about it over tea?" Cleora murmured, her voice soft and quiet.

Coco didn’t think twice about it and nodded her head, burying her face further into her mother’s breasts and tightened her arms around Cleora’s torso.

"Yes, please.." Coco agreed and sighed, her tears finally ceasing and drying over Cleora’s shirt. "And if I find out that you’re not actually my mama, I’ll make sure to hunt you down myself, okay?"

Cleora could only laugh, the sound making her chest vibrate and chasing Coco to groan in annoyance.

"I should be scolding you right now for saying that to your mother, but I find it endearing that you’re willing to go that far if soone had the courage to try to impersonate ." Cleora stated, nuzzling her face into Coco’s hair.

Coco shifted in her spot on the ground, her clothes stained with dirt, but she couldn’t find herself to care.

She pulled away from Cleora and rubbed her eyelids, her finger gently nudging her eyes to wipe the tears off her face. "I will seriously get mad if you’re not the Cleora I know.. Please mark my words."

A part of Coco believes that the Cleora before her is indeed Cleora Coison, her beloved mother, but she’s scared that the fairies might be playing a trick on her.

She had two unknown fairies watching over her so she wouldn’t put it past them to put such cruel jokes on her.

However, even if this is a joke of theirs.. Coco couldn’t help, but feel relieved.

This is what Cleora would like if she were indeed here, and sohow, that brought comfort to Coco more than she would like to admit.
