"Right this way, ma’am." A woman in a fancy blue dress said, gesturing towards the grand staircase before them.
Coco blinked and tightened her arms around Konoha, who was in her smaller size, before nodding her head, walking behind the woman who led them to the second floor.
When the coachman arrived at the house, Coco and the diators were already waiting outside.
Since the letter said that it would be a lunch with the intention of celebrating, the diators wore decent clothing— nothing too fancy, but good enough to be considered classy.
"This restaurant looks like they serve expensive food that won’t make their custors feel full." Heiren comnted, eyeing the decorations that they passed by.
Speaking of which, his comnt was deliberately ignored because he looked like a son of a high ranking noble.
He was wearing a long-sleeve white blouse with adorable lace that had interesting details with fitted brown leather trousers that gave a modern and streamlined look.
He normally wouldn’t wear sothing like this, but they went out to celebrate Coco’s victory.
The third husband humd. "We should have stayed ho."
Alhai’s comnt, too, was ignored.
Wearing a white shirt, with black accents and gold embroidery accompanied with a turquoise colored scarf that adds a pop of color to the white shirt, along with that top, he was wearing a black trousers that were obviously tailored by a well-known tailor, the woman was forced to ignore him.
"Not to be rude or anything, but.." The fourth husband slowly trailed off as his eyes lingered on the musicians by the first floor, "The one who’s strumming the guitar doesn’t look like she knows what she’s doing."
Quizen, on the other hand, was wearing sothing different, but he still looked similar to Heiren and Alhai.
His clothing consists of a white and blue robe with careful black detailing that is undoubtedly eye-catching, along with the inclusion of black gloves and a wide black belt that adorned his waist— his entire appearance scread hold your tongue, I’m a noble.
However, no one would know that he wasn’t one.
"Behave, everyone." Zaque chastised the other diators with a lighthearted tone. "You don’t want to make Coco upset on her special day, do you?"
Along with Quizen, Zaque was also wearing sothing different, not too fancy, but enough to tell everyone around them that he was once a noble.. Or well, still a noble— and honestly, no one would be able to tell otherwise.
With his luscious red hair and matching red eyes being complinted by his daring outfit, his vivid red and black long-sleeved jacket, featuring a carefully sead design which was a silver colored, is a piece that made him stand out.
The high-collar and bell sleeves, along with Zaque’s dark trousers that also have matching silver embellishnts, created a noble look, accompanied with his boots that echoed in every step he made.
"I won’t be upset." Coco said, quickly shooting down the idea of her getting upset by their commotion. "Just let them be."
The woman, overhearing their conversation, rely shot a glare in Coco’s direction over her shoulder, but she imdiately averted her glare away when her eyes t with Coco’s.
"We have to ask Sin to pick a better place next ti." Coco stated, raising her voice a little.
"A better place?" Heiren echoed, his eyebrows raising to his hairline as he tilted his head, "What’s a better place than this fancy restaurant?"
"Our ho." Coco answered without missing a beat.
The garden fairy who was quiet since they left the house, suddenly whistled on her spot on top of Coco’s head, the corner of her lips quirking up as she patted Coco’s hair.
"That was smooth." Lala said, giggling quietly to herself and hugged Coco’s head.
"ow." Konoha wled softly, as if agreeing.
Coco only shrugged her shoulders, not bothering to correct Lala from her assumption because unbeknownst to everyone who heard her answer, she was talking about her ho.
The thought of staying at ho, burying herself on her bed as she sleeps through the day after a busy week at her university— not worrying about anything, listening to music, and full from eating a delicious al cooked by her mother, is the best way to spend the day.
Though, once again, she won’t trouble herself on correcting Lala’s assumption.
"I knew it.." Lala smiled softly, caressing a few hair strands of Coco as she stared down on her friend. "As long as you’re happy."
The way to their table got quiet after hearing Coco’s answer, too shocked to react and too bashful to say sothing which made them keep their mouth shut, the only sound they were able to make was the clicking of the heels of their boots.
However, as they walked to their room, the diators noticed that so of the restaurant staff stopped what they were doing and glanced at Coco’s way.
This ignited different reactions.
Zaque and Quizen raised an eyebrow, their lips curling down into a frown.
Heiren rely shot them a puzzled look and when the person he was looking at felt his stare, that person would look away quickly.
Alhai being Alhai, just ignored them.
Upset by the fact that Coco was gathering admirers left and right, the first and fourth husbands imdiately walked forward, situating themselves on either side of Coco.
"Oh.. Is she married?"
A certain question reached the four diators’ ears and just like that, Zaque latched himself closer to Coco’s body.
"Would it be possible for to place a hand on your hip?" Zaque asked, making Coco blink and turn her head to look at him.
"Yes?" Her response ca out more of a question, but Zaque took that as a go signal to wrap his right arm around Coco’s waist, then placing his palm right on top of Coco’s hip bone.
"Thank you." The diator mumbled, shooting a glare on the people he would catch staring at Coco with those annoying looks in their eyes.
