Leaving two teams and a helicopter to guard the area, Wesley, Phil Coulson, and Sky returned to the base with a small team of commandos.
But in the helicopter, linda May sent a video link to the situation in the interrogation room. John Garrett was talking to Victoria Hand.
"Agent Hand, I didn't expect you to deliberately target Phil's team." John Garrett didn't know that the text ssage he sent was intercepted, so now he has the leisure to co in and chat. "You know, the director handed this plane to Phil. How trusting. He's the only level eight agent who has this treatnt."
"I didn't target anyone. The reason why I didn't deal with the whole process of their last mission was because their team had a leak situation, so I didn't say everything. Agent Wesley Gibson is part of the Avengers. His strength is still above Hawkeye and Black Widow. I think it won't be a problem to retreat."
"Haha, you're wrong. His strength is the sa as Tony Stark's, mainly from the Iron Man Armor. Even if his marksmanship is good, it's still very dangerous without the armor. You can bla him for being so annoyed. You know, he ca here at the invitation of Director Ke himself."
"Even so, this is not a reason for him to detain a level eight agent. I will report it to the higher-ups," Victoria Hand said angrily.
John Garrett was trying to drive a wedge between them. Phil Coulson's field team was a big threat to him. The kidnapping of Phil Coulson had caused his Centipede Organization to suffer heavy losses and many places had been dug up. It was still unknown where Grant Ward had taken his n to hide.
Wesley looked at the video and smiled. John Garrett was still unclear. Grant Ward had been arrested. They would see how he looked later.
The helicopter returned to the base and Wesley led his n onto the plane. John Garrett had already walked out of the interrogation room, but when he saw Grant Ward, he was stunned for a mont. Then he imdiately said, "My supervisor. What's wrong? Did he kidnap Phil? No wonder I haven't been able to contact him."
Grant Ward also spoke. "Hehe, how could you, an idiot, have thought of it? Long live Hydra. Look, two more heads will grow out of the next head. We will et again soon. When the ti cos, our positions will be changed."
"I misjudged you. I shouldn't have brought you into S.H.I.E.L.D. in the first place. You actually…" John Garrett was trembling with anger, and Wesley and the others were watching their performance.
"Phil, if I didn't have sothing to do at that ti, I really shouldn't have sent him to see you. How are you feeling?" John Garrett said with regret, but he didn't wait for Phil Coulson to comfort him. It was surprisingly quiet around him. In such a strange situation, he couldn't care less about acting. He looked up and around. Most people were smiling at him, but it was obvious that everyone was mocking him.
"What is it?" John Garrett asked.
Wesley began to clap and then said, "How wonderful. The two of you work so well together. You don't even need to discuss it when you et and you can have an impassioned conversation."
John Garrett didn't feel right, but he knew that the man probably had no proof. "Wesley, what are you talking about?"
"Actually, what I said is very simple. Is it okay for to call you 'Clairvoyant'?" Wesley's words made John Garrett's heart skip a beat, but he did not show it on his face. Wesley then said, "It doesn't matter if you don't admit it. No matter how careful you are, there will still be evidence left. We just need to clean it up slowly." Then he went straight to the interrogation room and ca out with Victoria Hand.
Victoria Hand still looked unhappy. She looked at Phil Coulson and said, "Since you've been caught, I'll bring people back to headquarters. I'll report this matter truthfully."
Phil Coulson smiled and then looked at Wesley, who said, "Now I will start to tell you the whole process of this operation. The Pri Minister is Phil eting with John Garrett, but the person who ca to et him is Grant Ward. After he sent soone to destroy the surveillance caras in the parking lot, he attacked Phil. No one denies this fact, right?
"
"What are you getting at?" Victoria Hand asked.
Wesley didn't answer, but continued. "In the next few days, our team began to collect clues. After we asked for headquarters intelligence support, John Garrett applied to help, and our director sent Agent Victoria Hand here. Actually, I was against it at first, but the director said that this was an opportunity, so I agreed, but I asked for command."
Other than the mbers of their team, no one else knew about the "opportunity" Wesley had ntioned. However, John Garrett had sowhat figured it out. It seed that he had seized his opportunity, but had he given himself away?
"The arrival of the two of you made it inconvenient for us, so we let Sky get off the plane in advance. She is more useful outside." Wesley pointed at Sky, who was wearing a combat suit and was still injured, but he looked very energetic. Wesley said again, "We sent the clues to Sky and she searched outside. As you can see, Phil was found quickly."
Victoria Hand asked, "Are you guarding against Agent Garrett?"
"That's right. Legend has it that Clairvoyant has the ability to read minds and can detect all secrets. The mbers of Centipede are convinced of this, but this is not true because Clairvoyant has no so-called mind-reading ability. Instead, he knows a lot of things and intelligence. He is a mber of SHIELD, level eight agent John Garrett. That's why he knows a lot. That's all."
John Garrett laughed. "Well, it's not a guess. You can't just say it's based on a guess. And you don't seem to have the slightest evidence or incident worth suspecting. There's not the slightest basis for it."
Victoria Hand thought so, too, saying it out of nowhere, as they say about themselves.
"I locked up Agent Hand to give you maximum freedom. You did send a text ssage. Unfortunately, this plane is ours. Your text ssage was intercepted, Fitz."
Fitz took a tablet computer and operated it a few tis. Then confidence appeared. There was the phone number of the sender. Everyone knew it now.
