During the ti it had taken them to get to the gate, Thea had practically mastered her new proportions.

Her extended height, reach and walking speed all felt natural now, after all Thea had years of practice with muscle movents.

The noble district was practically empty, mainly because of the fact that each manor was surrounded by a large gardens and flower fields, then a tall hedge and fence. Every noble seed to be isolated from another.

The first person the 3 girls saw, was actually a guard standing next to the gate, if Thea had to guess he would be about 23-26 years old.

"Miss l, fancy seeing you here! Could you perhaps introduce to these two young ladies here?" The guard politely greeted.

"Mornin' Tom! This is Mia and this is Althea, they are new in the Ewald territory." l said casually with a friendly smile.

"I see well enjoy your outing then ladies." The guard said seriously, but still in a polite manner.

When the 3 girls passes through the gate, they were in the city streets again, this ti, there were a few people and carriages moving about.

From the many cafs to the fancy tailor shops with large windows to look inside, this was where many of the richer people would spend their ti. As the girls walked past the stores, Thea looked at one of the wooden boards standing outside the caf, on it was a nu along with the prices of each item.

'Hmmm, 7 copper for a coffee, 2 bronze for a croissant and 5 bronze for a strawberry tart. Even when we are in a fantasy world, they still have the sa items here' Thea thought.

But then she froze, realizing sothing: 'Wait, how much is a bronze coin? I haven't paid for a thing in my life and all the books I have read till now were about magic, hunting and weapons'

"Ehm, can I ask you girls sothing?" Thea asked as she stood next to the wooden board.

Both girls looked at Thea who had stopped, then at the nu.

"Do you want a cake or tart?" l asked, thinking Thea asked for that.

"Yes. Wait no That tart does look good" Thea salivated as she looked through the glass pane at the cakes and tarts on display.

"B-but I want to ask about the currency, mommy and have been living in the forest till now so I have no knowledge about it." Thea said, refocusing at the question at hand.

"I'll get you both sothing from here if you successfully get registered, as for the currency let tell you two about it." l said pulling Thea and Mia away from the caf and towards the guild.

As they walked, l explained about the currency.

There were platinum coins, then gold coins followed by silver coins and behind that bronze coins, finally at the end were copper coins.

1 platinum coin was 100 gold coins, 1 gold coin was 100 silver coins and 1 silver coin was 100 bronze coins, finally 1 bronze coin was 25 copper coins.

A normal commoners wage varied from their profession, employer, gender and even race. So jobs only pay 1-5 bronze coins per week, when other jobs pay 20-40 bronze a week. For reference a loaf of bread in the lower district costs 1 copper coin, if you only earn a few bronze a week, paying for food and rent starts becoming difficult.

That is also why it was normal for commoners to have large families, child labor wasn't banned, nor was it looked down upon so having many children working would help earn a little more.

'Wait, a single tart here costs as much as a weeks' worth of inco for a commoner?' Thea asked, realizing how expensive the shops here were.

Having been reincarnated, Thea could naturally compare the situation with that of her old life, but Thea knew better than to disagree and try interfere with the local customs.

"If you don't mind asking How much do you earn?" Thea curiously asked l.

"I don't really mind, I earn 10 silver weekly, the sa goes for the other maids in the Ewald territory." l said.

'So about 200 tarts a week.' Thea thought.

The ti it took l to explain the currency was enough to leave the upper district and enter the middleclass district. Here were the cheaper restaurants and tailors but still no stalls yet.

As the girls were walking, Mia and Thea were talking about the different shops, inns, streets and people.

As Thea looked around she finally saw that for the first ti.
