As the trio continued their trip, leisurely walking through the forest, the sun started setting and the group started getting hungry.
*Grrrr*
Both Thea and Lily turned around, looking at the source of the noise. What they saw, was a blushing black haired cat girl, looking at the ground, too embarrassed to look either Thea or Lily in the eyes.
Both Lily and Thea turned to each other and smiled warmly.
"Hungry?" Lily asked.
"" Mia didn't answer, instead she simple nodded her head, confirming the mother and daughters suspicions.
"Alright then, let quickly make a dinner you won't forget." Thea said confidently.
"I'm looking forward to it." Mia said.
Thea started taking one ingredient after the other out of her inventory and used her magic in combination with certain woods to give the al a specific smoky flavor.
While Mia was watching Thea cook, she was bewildered. She was expecting sothing normal, considering that Thea was only 12 years old, but the way Thea was cooking now, was alien to her.
As Thea concentrated on cooking Mia couldn't help but ask Lily about it.
"How can she cook like that?" Mia asked curiously. She had rembered hearing that Thea had practiced noble etiquette, so she normally shouldn't have any reason to learn how to cook.
"Well, honestly I don't know." Lily said before sighing.
"I taught her the basics up until her cooking talent reached level three but from there the roles reversed. She has taught about smoking and how to combine certain spices, how she learnt it, id don't know." Lily said with a smile.
What she said was in fact true. Thea had carefully observed and helped her mother a lot in the kitchen, and when she reached a certain understanding, she started incorporating and experinting with her knowledge of her past life.
To this world, although so of the techniques Thea uses are known, haven't been fully developed yet. Thea with her cooking talent at level 4 now, was on par with the best royal chefs in Duca, and with her foreign cooking thods and techniques, Thea could be considered the best chef in Duca currently.
After 15 minutes had passed, both Mia and Lily had started drooling with the scents they were slling.
"Order up!" Thea said cheerily as she handed a bowl to both the drooling girls waiting on her food.
"Ohhh, my dear Thea!" Lily said, super excited as she received her bowl.
"Thank you dear for the food." Lily said before digging in.
"Thank you for the food." Mia shyly followed, as she took a bite of the at in her soup.
"Mua, amazing!!" Mia said out loud, as she finished the first flavorful bite of food.
"Kahahah" Thea laughed with her hands on her hips and her nose raised in the air.
Thea always liked being complinted, she always showered in her own glory when she knew she did sothing great, and both the expressions on the faces of the won eating her food, proved that she made a great al.
As Thea took her own bowl of the potato, Berserk Boar at stew and ate her own food, she had to admit she made one great al. Naturally not as good as her mothers food, but just one tier below, there was that sothing that always made her mothers food taste better, maybe just the fact that it was Lily who made it.
'If this was my past life, never would I have got the chance to eat sothing like this.' Thea thought to herself as she enjoyed the rest of her al with Mia and Lily asking for many refills.
"That was great." Lily said rubbing her full belly.
"How about I clean this up as a thanks for the al and you two set up our tent." Lily suggested to which both girls nodded.
Although Thea had her [Cleaning] skill, she had to agree that monts like these should just be normal.
As both Mia and Thea set up the tent, while exchanging so small talk, Lily cleaned the pots and pans her daughter had used to make their al. When Lily finished cleaning all the supplies, she headed over to the tent to see the two girls waiting for her so they could go to bed together.
"Alright, let's go to bed." Lily said as she followed the girls into the tent.
As everyone found their spot, spooned against each other they fell asleep peacefully.
