Brayan felt his throat dry up. He closed his eyes knowing that he wouldn’t escape punishnt this ti.

After a few monts Edward’s stern eyes focused on him. The old man still didn’t reveal any emotions, his voice monotonous as if simply stating facts:

“Brayan Colville. You tried to deceive the family, faking accomplishnts.

A ship has already set off from Libra Star. You will co back, serving in the army for 10 years.

Your shares in Colville Constructions will be handed over to Silva. You will step back from your position as COO.

Silva will be allowed to buy 2% shares of Colville City Military from Owen.”

With every word he heard, Brayan felt a stabbing pain in his heart. Over the years he and his father toiled laboriously to build up influence in the family’s companies, but now a massive shift in power had taken place with one mistake.

anwhile Silva felt incredibly relieved. From now on her annoying cousin couldn’t leverage his power as COO anymore to ddle in the affairs of Colville Constructions, which should rightfully belong to her father.

On top of that Silva would be allowed to buy shares in the family’s other company, which was led by her uncle Owen, allowing her to overwatch her uncle’s dealings.

Everyone present could feel the changing atmosphere, knowing that Silva had caught the family head’s attention. The ambitious individuals were forced to rethink their behavior, imagining all kinds of ways to get closer to the young woman.

Many awkwardly fiddled with their collars, rembering how they made life difficult for the family in the past.

“In three months the first federation tournant will begin. Rember to do well!”

Dropping one last bombshell the family head ended the call, leaving everyone to their own thoughts.

Mr. Glan was the first to react. Ignoring Owen’s terrifying gaze the sleazy man turned towards Silva:

“Young miss, congratulations! You did our family a great service. Colville Constructions is talked about throughout the federation. Our popularity has reached an unprecedented peak.”

“Thank you.”

As Silva accepted the congratulations politely, the others woke up as well, hastily approaching the young woman.

Superficial conversations could be heard for a few minutes. Even Silva’s grandfather the governor spoke a few words. Only Owen and Brayan remained silent, grinding their teeth until everyone else had left.

Brayan finally allowed his face to contort, his skin turning pale:

“It’s over! That b*tch Silva destroyed all my hard work! F*ck!

Our influence in Colville Constructions will be dwindling.”

His father Owen had venom in his eyes, cursing his brother’s family.

“What a vicious move. Hiding those contracts from us and letting us run into the knife.

I never expected them to sche so deeply!”

Owen felt the rage overcoming his mind. He recalled scenes of him growing up.

The day a woman ca to their family claiming to have birthed a son for his father everything went downhill.

With the family’s strict rules, which stated to give every family mber a fair chance, his father didn’t dare to silence them. Neither with money nor otherwise.

Thus, the bastard was accepted and grew up as Malin Colville. Suddenly Owen’s position was threatened. All the family assets suddenly had to be split according to the brothers’ accomplishnts.

Fortunately, Malin understood his position early on and distanced himself. However, the situation changed when Silva began to show ambition.

And now after struggling for years it was the first ti his brother’s side gained an advantage.

Owen’s gaze landed on his son. He didn’t bla Brayan for what happened as the idea was approved by him.

Now he could only remind the young man:

“Don’t be disheartened by a temporary setback! Joining the army is not the end!

Focus on the ga and show your talent. It was certainly no coincidence that the family head ntioned this tournant. If you can place higher than Silva, you will quickly regain the family’s favor!”

Brayan took a deep breath, calming the emotions in his eyes.

“You are right father! If Silva thinks I will be defeated this easily, she is gravely mistaken!”

The other party mbers felt the effect of Fortune’s video as well.

Cyclone and Balm, or rather Cynthia and l, gathered with their gar friends in Cynthia’s secret ho. They celebrated while reading comnts online.

Girlish giggles could be heard for multiple hours as the two won were teased by their friends constantly searching for comnts praising them.

However, eventually both won grew annoyed as more people praised their appearance rather than their skills.

The long cherished wish in their hearts to found a powerful guild and reach the top sprouted with fervor. They wanted to prove what they were capable of to shut everyone up with their skills.

anwhile Radiant Shield and Bloody Edge, or rather Dom and Kel, took a while to convince their college buddies that they were part of the team.

Especially the chubby Dom, who looked much too different form the burly warrior in ga, was forced to explain himself awkwardly.

But eventually the others were convinced, allowing Dom and Kel to feel like heroes for the night.

Even so girls which normally wouldn’t look at them twice took the initiative to get closer.

Unfortunately, the two young n were too inexperienced to grab the chance. On top of that Radiant Shield and Bloody Edge suddenly felt like many of the forr fairy-like girls looked rather bland after hanging out with Fortune for a few days.

Elsewhere Silent Acacia and Quickstep were accepting congratulations as well. So old teammates and agents even spent so money to call them across planets.

Naturally these people didn’t do so purely for fun, but rather to send subtle and overt invitations to join their teams.

However, the couple stayed noncommittal. Silent Acacia didn’t hold much trust after being thrown out of his last team after a single bad season.

If he could rise together with his new party and prove his forr team wrong, it would be ideal.

Another night passed quickly like this. The next morning Liam woke up early for so training before entering the ga.

None of his party mbers had appeared yet. Liam sat next to a random fountain in Svebrial, enjoying the atmosphere, pondering what to do today.

Maybe it is ti to follow the ssage in a bottle quest. My stats should be just about enough to make it fun.

Making up his mind Liam strolled down the street leisurely, soon reaching the teleporter. A bright blue light shone as he found himself back in Prento.

His arrival was extrely conspicuous, alerting the nearby players.

“Hey, look soone ca through the teleporter!”

“Is it an NPC? Maybe he carries a special quest!”

“Let’s check it out!”

“No, look at the na above his head! It’s Bleary Mirage! He was part of the group who cleared the dungeon!”

“Ahh! It’s him! Mirage, marry !”

“Can I get an autograph?”

“Mirage! Mirage! Take as your disciple!”

Liam looked over the motely crowd, sighing inwardly.

It’s just like before… I should look for an item to hide my identity.

Before more people could gather, Liam hastily left from the back of the teleportation platform. With agile steps he made his way through the crowd, disappearing amongst the houses.

But not all the people who spotted Liam were fans. A sneaky fellow standing at the back of the crowd hastily sent out a ssage.

Fat Tiger had already gathered his elites early, attacking the dungeon together with Glorious Sunrise.

After buying a large part of Liam’s Fiery Tacaria they were confident in clearing the dungeon today.

But just as they were about to enter the kitchen filled with skeletons, a ssage arrived.

[Sharp Eagle: @Boss! I saw one of those level 10 players! It’s that guy, Bleary Mirage.]

[Fat Tiger: What? How? Is he back in Prento?]

[Sharp Eagle: Yes!]

[Fat Tiger: Haha, great! Quick, gather a team and follow the plan! Soone is willing to pay a lot of money for everyone who can slow down that party!]

[Sharp Eagle: Got it boss!]

Sharp Eagle’s hands trembled form excitent. He felt that his ti had co.

The warrior with his narrow eyes hastily inford so available guild mbers while sprinting through the town, afraid of losing Liam.

anwhile the latter left Prento, following the jungle path. He passed the spot where they t old man yhran for the first ti, strolling deeper into the outer forest.

Suddenly Liam frowned, looking over his shoulder. He found a few players innocently going about their business.

Shaking his head he turned back, falling into a jog. After a while he dived into the jungle to his right, making his way through the dense foliage.

Liam’s chest tightened. He trusted his instincts, stopping in place and taking a closer look at the area up front.

Through the dense leaves he found a small tallic sphere. A subtle magic surrounded it, distorting the air around it.

99% of the current players wouldn’t have spotted the inconspicuous object, walking right into it. Unfortunately for so people Liam naturally belong to the other 1%.
