Finally, Liam held an ultimate skill in his hand. Although one would always receive one through the class change, its power depended on the evaluation of the fight.
Naturally there were other ways to get ultimate skills, but only this one would be tailor made for his class.
With the reward in hand, the quest was naturally completed. But Ganala was not done yet.
“Bleary Mirage, it is a joyous occasion for us to welco one more holy tempest. But unfortunately, we don’t have ti to celebrate.
Do you know why only the three of us are gathered here?”
Ganala pointed at Demuni and Lerg.
“It’s because our lineage is embroiled in fierce fights. Now that you joined us, so of this responsibility must be carried by you as well.”
Liam stayed calm as he listened. In real life he might complain about being tricked, but in the ga one could never have enough quests.
“Newbie, why don’t you visit Engala in Red Mist City. She could surely need your help.”
Liam nodded, accepting the quest. But he didn’t decide to go right now. Red Mist City was a human city which was constantly clashing with the hellish Infernals.
But the biggest danger of this quest weren’t the monsters but the infernal players.
In Fate of Crunaboul players belonging to hostile factions could freely attack each other. Naturally players loved doing so to interfere in each other’s quests.
Thus, Liam needed to wait until his allies grabbed so of the infernals’ attention before he dared to co close to their territory. Even as a pro he couldn’t deal with a horde of enemies.
However, outwardly he reassured Ganala happily while asking the NPC for information.
A few seconds later Liam got everything he needed, saying his goodbyes to the three holy tempests.
Finally, I got my class. What should I do now?
Liam was in a good mood, strolling along the mountain path while contemplating his next moves.
At the sa ti, he did a quick check of his status.
