What began as a one-on-one confrontation quickly turned into a three-way battle, neither side wanting to yield to the other.

Alex knew he would eventually need to break away if he ever wanted to flee the scene, but every ti he showed any intention of turning away, both assailants suddenly turned on him.

Whatever their goal was, him leaving was not part of it.

Regardless of the combat he was locked in, he could still tell what was happening around him, and he knew the tides were quickly shifting out of his favour.

Even with Kujaku's ninjas constantly forcing altercations between the Chinese enforcers, who were dressed almost like an imperial old guard, and the NFS agents, who were dressed more like Agent Smith from the Matrix, their group was quickly thinning.

Alex could tell the numbers had never been in their favour, and he needed to find a mont to escape, and fast. Lest Kujaku's people offer their lives in vain.

Figuring he could use the bodies of the people fighting around him as at shields, Alex started weaving his fighting toward them, trying to force them to back off from him.

It worked at first, Cheng Weilong hesitating to cut down his own n, even if his quarry was managing to catch a breath.

But when he tried doing that with the boy and the NFS agents, sothing horrible happened instead.

Alex bolted into a lee between an enforcer and an agent, trying to keep them between him and the clash of glaive and claws, only to hear Cheng Weilong's voice growl at him.

"Get back here, you coward!"

But there was no follow-up to it. Or at least he had thought.

A chill ran down Alex's spine again as a wave of murderous intent slamd into his back.

He quickly spun around, raising his arms to block, just in ti to see the red flash of the claw tornado passing through both n locked in a stalemate, and turning them into fine red mist.

"Out of the way, cattle!" the boy scread in anger at being body-blocked.

His course continued into Alex's arms, his claws lacerating his forearms before the latter tried kicking him away.

But the boy was quicker than Alex and managed to stop his course and bounce back before the kick reached him, evading just outside of its range.

"You are not leaving here alive, blood bag!" the boy howled in anger.

Just as he was about to follow up with another attack, a glint of reflected sunlight caught his eye on the ground, and he dashed to the side, narrowly evading a glaive slamming into the ground where he stood.

"Tch!" he clicked his tongue at the interruption.

"How dare you mow down my n like this, you little abomination!" Weilong growled.

The boy looked at him with a mocking gaze.

"What does it matter? Once I am done with you two, I'm going to kill all of them before draining your blood dry. No one can leave here alive," he said, not an ounce of guilt dripping through.

On the contrary, he sounded excited that he got to kill so many people.

Alex frowned at the statent.

"What about your guys?" he asked, confused.

"What about them?" the boy replied, tilting his head to the side, looking confused.

Alex felt the chill run down his spine again. This kid couldn't care less if they worked with him or against him.

The bloodlust emanating from him was directed at every living thing in the vicinity. He couldn't care less whose side they were fighting for.

Which ant this little monster would undoubtedly go after Kary and his friends.

The realization made his blood boil, and his stance lowered.

"Are you finally getting serious?" Cheng Weilong asked, feeling the air shift around Alexander.

"Listen, dude," Alex started, keeping his eyes locked on the little monster before him, who was licking the blood on his claws nonchalantly, making little happy chirps.

"I know you want to arrest , or whatever. But this little monster has no intention of letting anything here live. That includes the innocent people who have barely fled far enough to evade his hunt," Alex said, his mana senses telling him there were still bystanders not too far, too afraid to move.

"Don't you think dealing with him is the more urgent matter? Can't you turn a blind eye to just this once?" he added, trying to appeal to the man's sense of justice.

It was clearly a strong one, as the first thing he had said to him was that he was here to judge him. Alex hoped he could sway him to his side with his plea.

"You are still a threat to the Republic of China, White Wolf. Why would I look the other way while you are standing right here, under my nose?" Cheng Weilong asked, frowning lightly.

And yet, his eyes never left the boy either, realizing whatever this kid was, it held no attachnt to the lives of any creature other than itself.

"I'm not aware of the laws of your country, nor do I think they matter right now, man. If it can reassure you, I can assure you that I'll co back through legitimate ans and face whatever judgnt you have for ," Alex tried reasoning with him.

Cheng Weilong huffed.

"And why would I believe anything that cos out of your mouth? You snuck in here to begin with. You lied to get into China, and now you are trying to lie to get out," he spat.

Alex sighed.

"Listen, Weilong. I only snuck in because I had sothing urgent to deal with, and your borders suddenly closed to outsiders. I originally intended to co in through legal ans. But the urgency ant I couldn't delay for months. Can't you understand that?"

While they were talking, the boy just looked at them hungrily, his head tilting from left to right. He could hear every word exchanged between them, but hardly cared enough to intervene.

Instead, he started scanning the battlefield, looking at every looking thing he could sense, his hunger only growing.

Christoph could sense the ones hiding as much as the ones fighting in the distance, and all he was doing was counting his targets, classifying them by blood type.

"AB positive. B negative. A positive. Oooo, an O negative. I bet that one tastes amazing. Awww… It's a weak one," he muttered to himself, looking visibly disappointed.

Alex and Cheng Weilong could hear him mutter, even amid the hubbub of battle around them, as their senses were highly heightened right now.

Alex felt a mix of disgust and anger welling up inside him.

'That thing can't be allowed to leave here alive,' he surmised.

But getting Cheng Weilong on board was another matter altogether. If he couldn't get him on his side, it would be nigh impossible for him to flee and deal with the little monster.

"Co on, man. Just this once, trust . I'll co back, I promise," he pleaded again.

He turned his head toward Cheng Weilong, trying to make him see he was being sincere.

Unfortunately, it seed the boy had been waiting exactly for sothing like that to happen, as he suddenly barreled forward.

His clawed hand, drawing a fine arc aid at Alex's neck, whistled through the air as he taunted them.

"Are you done? About ti, you old bickering livestock!"
