'Why are they not chasing after ?'

Ajax was puzzled when he saw that the demonic creatures which were jumping onto him just a few monts ago were nowhere to be seen.

So, he felt there was sothing wrong and carefully observed the portal in the distance.

'It looks like a regular portal.'

However, Ajax was unable to find anything wrong with the portal.

'Should I test it out before entering the portal?'

After going through many trials and tribulations, Ajax had faith in his intuition. So, even when he was unable to find anything wrong with the portal, he wanted to test it out before entering the portal.

'Let's see.'

With that thought in his mind, Ajax turned in the sa ti direction he ca from.

'Roar'

Just as he took a couple of steps, the demonic creatures that had disappeared to who knows where appeared again and roared at him before rushing towards him.

'Oh no.'

Ajax was shocked to see the sudden appearance of the demonic creatures and hurriedly turned back before rushing towards the portal.

Ajax stopped a few ters away from the portal because he was afraid of being sucked into the portal.

'Are they afraid to enter the portal? Or are they intentionally making

enter the portal?'

After testing his theory with the demonic creatures, Ajax ca to two conclusions and looked into the endless space where there was no sign of any demonic creature.

'Do what your intuition says.'

All of a sudden, Ajax heard the familiar sound in his head and judging from the sound, Ajax could guess that the old voice would not speak any other words because his voice was very weak.

'Since everything in this place wants

to enter the portal, I will go in the opposite direction.'

Ajax thought for a few monts and decided to walk in the opposite direction from the portal.

'Roar'

Without wasting any ti, Ajax started walking in that direction and the demonic creature appeared out of thin air and roared at him.

However, they didn't attack him; instead, they continued to roar as though Ajax would be fearful of them and go back into the portal.

Ajax was careful as he slowly walked forward and he was ready to rush back into the portal if the demonic creatures tried to attack.

His intuition was telling him that he should not enter the portal because all the surroundings were making him enter the portal.

First, all his skills beca invalid.

Second, the demonic creatures that appeared in the direction of the portal disappeared.

Third, the remaining demonic creatures were chasing him into the portal.

Last but not least, no matter how fast the demonic creatures were rushing towards him, they were still a distance away from him.

So, Ajax felt he should not enter the portal.

'It looks like all bark but no bite.'

As expected, all the demonic creatures rushed towards him the mont he walked in the opposite direction; however, they stopped exactly at a distance of 10 ters from Ajax and roared at him.

Finally, Ajax ca to the conclusion that all these demonic creatures were fake.

'Swoosh'

'Am I dreaming?'

Soon, Ajax walked past the demonic creatures and the mont he walked past them, they disappeared into thin air.

At the sa ti, the entire space around Ajax started cracking and shattered like glass before his consciousness transported to another place.

Soon, Ajax found himself floating in the mid-air in blood red-coloured surroundings.

Ajax was hearing only a single word in various volus like whispering to shouting in his ears; however, there was no one around him.

'Since you want

to? kill, why don't you appear in front of him, I will start my killing with you.'

Even though Ajax's heart was filled with various emotions, he suppressed them as he bravely spoke into the thin air.

"Trying to be brave on the surface; however, you are just scared to kill anyone."

Soon, an errie voice resounded in Ajax's ear.

"It is you that is scared to co forward and hidden sowhere."

Ajax scoffed at the eerie voice as he continued to put on a brave act.

The thing is who would be not anxious if all their cultivation and skills disappeared.

At the sa ti, who would be not worried if they were threatened by a mysterious being who could control the entire environnt around them?

Nevertheless, Ajax replied back to the mysterious being with a scoff thinking that the mysterious being would co out.

However, a burst of loud laughter resounded in the entire area that made Ajax frown. So, he asked, "If you are so scared to co in front of him, then send

back from where you picked

up."

"Fool. I am you and you are ."

All of a sudden, the huge laughter ca to an end and soon, a black coloured silhouette ca out of Ajax's spirit consciousness.

The silhouette hovered in front of Ajax and said those words.

As for the silhouette, he looked just like Ajax; however, his eyes were pitch black just like that demonized Ajax who were fighting the huge demon fox.

"What?"

When he saw the sudden appearance of himself right in front of him, Ajax was shocked as he tried to fly back; however, the demonized Ajax's spirit consciousness form was much stronger than the normal Ajax's spirit consciousness form.

So, he was pulled towards the demonized Ajax's spirit consciousness form.

"I am not you and I don't know who you are."

Just looking at the pitch-black eyes of the demonized Ajax's spirit consciousness form, Ajax beca anxious before he felt like he was falling into a deep abyss from which he could not return.

"You don't know ?"

As for the demonized Ajax's spirit consciousness form, when he heard those words, he scoffed at Ajax before waving his hand and soon a huge mirror screen appeared out of nowhere.
