192 Never-returning cave

The first elder felt even angrier when he thought back to how he always took the side of the third elder and even opposed the second elder.

However, recently he found out that the sa third elder was completing so missions from the headquarters and enjoying the rewards for himself without informing him.

He felt jealousy, hatred, and all other negative emotions towards the third elder.

"Master, there is sothing I wanted to inform," a disciple in the discipline hall uniform ca forward and said with sweat behind his back.

"What is it?" the first elder asked impatiently.

"Just now, so of our patrolling disciples saw the third elder's eldest personal disciple along with so strong mission hall disciples running out of the sect," the disciple said quickly fearing that his master would kill him if he wasted any ti.

"Huh? Looks like it about that mission," the first elder's anger cald down a little and asked, "Where is that boy I asked you to keep an eye."

"One of our disciples who was following them sent the information that the boy entered the Cursed wilderness on a mission along with another mber from the squad," The disciple inford quickly.

'What is that Edmond guy thinking, sending his squad's young ones on a mission at a ti like this?' he thought to himself.

Just like the Captains of the top rcenary squads, the first elder was also puzzled at Edmond's way of doing things.

'Whatever, let

get this boy's head first then I will show that bloody third elder what it ans to hide important things from ,' The first elder smiled cruelly as he looked at his disciples and ordered, "Kill that boy and bring

his head. If the disciples from the other halls cos in your ways then clear them out without any hesitation."

Although the missions that the third elder did in the past could be shared with the other elders from the assassin sect, however, he didn't share any details and maintained secrecy as he wanted to get the full rewards for himself.

Due to him, maintaining the secrecy of the missions, the headquarters gave him more missions to do.

After hearing his orders, all the disciples who were in the hall disappeared.

...

Not only in Mission and Discipline halls but all other halls had the sa discussions and sent so of their strongest disciples to kill Ajax.

...

Ajax and Paulin, who were flying towards the middle section of the Cured Wilderness, didn't know that there was a hunt started for them by all the 12 halls of the assassin sect.

"Senior brother look, is that the Never-returning cave that was ntioned in the mission?"

After flying for more than 6 hours on the spirit crane, Ajax asked Paulin, pointing his finger towards and ancient-looking cave.

However, with their current strengths, it was not a problem for them to take care of the spirit beasts from the outer section of the Cursed Wilderness.

"Huh? Looks like it. According to the location and the details ntioned in the mission matches with that cave surroundings exactly," Paulin looked at the surroundings of the ancient-looking cave and nodded his head.

The area around the ancient-looking cave did not have a shed of grass growing in its surroundings.

No spirit beasts or spirit birds were present, making it look like a deserted area.

Whenever a mission was posted on the mission board of the rcenary guild, there would be all kinds of details to find the mission location.

So with the details provided by the rcenary guild, they quickly related the ancient-looking cave to the Never-returning cave.

The Never-returning cave, as the na suggests, was a cave where people could enter but unable to return.

However, the entered people were not dead as their life jades were still intact with their family mbers.

To bring back their young ones, so of their family mbers with high cultivation tried to enter it, but they were unable to enter the cave as so powerful barrier blocked its entrance.

That barrier only allowed the cultivators of the below general realm.

So the powerful families used so of the elite commander realm cultivators to enter the cave to find out the mystery behind it.

Despite their effort, they were unable to find any mystery behind the cave and even lost so of the elite commander realm cultivators.

After multiple attempts, they were still unable to find out anything about the cave and nad it as Never-returning cave.

Eventually, as ti passed, people forget the existence of this never-returning cave.

At the sa ti, many people said that all the things about the never-returning cave were so baseless rumours.

However, a mission that was related to Never-returning cave had mysteriously appeared on the mission board of the rcenary guild.

"Let's find what is really inside this so-called Never-returning cave," Paulin looked at the ancient-looking cave and said.

Ajax and Paulin also belonged to the second category of the people who didn't believe the baseless rumours about the cave.

There was a reason for it, though because their Squad Captain Edmond had successfully returned from the never-returning cave which was only known to the Hazegroove squad mbers.

In one of their alti conversations, Udo revealed the shocking secret of Edmond who returned alive from the Never-returning cave.

However, when Ajax and others asked him to explain about the cave, Edmond stopped Udo from saying anything about it.

"All, you have to know is that you are still not powerful enough to know," It was the reply from Edmond for them.

At that ti, Ajax had not even reached the elite soldier realm, so he didn't show much interest.

However, he had confidence in himself to accomplish the mission now, since he had elental spirits and so spirit beast in his arsenal.

Even though he had confidence in himself in surviving in the Never-returning cave, he didn't want to take so possible 'A' danger rating mission which was ntion in the mission's beast skin.

So he rejected it without thinking much.

But when he saw the newly generated system mission and knew that the mission only had 'B ' danger rating, he took it without hesitation.
