Cedric thanked John when they finally arrived at Mountain View and got out of his car.
He was quite surprised when he saw Ian get out of the car behind him.
"I thought I told you guys to go straight ho?" Cedric asked as Ian approached.
"I'm here for a personal matter." Ian said as he gestured for them to go in the house.
"Alright." Cedric said with a nod as they entered.
"Oh, Ian, you're here. Won't Nicole be looking for you?" Adrianna asked as she walked over to the two n.
She gently wrapped her arms around Cedric's neck and gave him a chaste kiss on the lips, welcoming him ho.
"She knows I'm here, and she knows why." Ian inford them.
"How was your day?" Cedric asked his wife as he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her close.
"Tiring. You know how work is." She said with a shrug.
"Maybe you should really consider getting a professional team to manage Island's Inc." Cedric told his wife as he gave her a concerned look. "You're five months along and it can't be easy."
"I'm fine, Ced." Adrianna told her husband as she hugged him tight.
"Go, rest, Ian and I won't be long." Cedric said as he kissed the top of Adrianna's head and let her go. "Right Ian?" He asked his assistant and best friend.
"Well, actually, I think for this, Adrianna should be with us." Ian said as he scratched the back of his head.
"Fine." Cedric groaned. He wasn't in the mood to argue with both Ian and Adrianna. Both of them could be quite insistent at tis.
"Please bring us so coffee." Adrianna told a maid as she joined Cedric and Ian in the ho office.
"You better have a good reason for this." Cedric told Ian as he pulled Adrianna on to the couch with him.
"Trust , you won't regret it." Ian said as he nodded at Cedric.
Several maids soon ca in and served coffee to Cedric and Ian, while they handed Adrianna a cup of tea.
One they left Cedric nodded at Ian, signaling for him to start talking.
"Well, there is sothing you need to know about Guan Ming." Ian said as he took a deep breath.
"Guan Ming?" Adrianna asked as she gave Cedric a curious glance. She knew Cedric had a friend from China with the exact na.
"Ah, you haven't checked the news today." Cedric said with a laugh.
"Yeah, I've been busy. All I know is that Wu Jun arrived at the sa ti as the CEO of Ming Enterprises." Adrianna said as she recalled what her assistant had told her right before she headed ho.
"Shhh, later Adri." Cedric said with a smile and a wink.
"Go on, Ian." Cedric told Ian with a nod.
"Guan Ming is here for Camilla." Ian suddenly said in an urgent tone.
Cedric sat up and almost spit his coffee in shock. He did not expect that. Guan Ming never ntioned Camilla in any of their conversations.
And knowing Guan Ming, the man would have known that Camilla worked for Cedric. From what Guan Ming had told him, he had eagerly watched the woman he loved till he had the perfect opportunity to go after her.
Cedric had just so happened to offer him the perfect opportunity.
"What do you an Guan Ming is here for Camilla?" Cedric asked Ian.
"Is this -" Adrianna started to say, but Cedric stopped her and shook his head.
"Rember I told you that Camilla has been waiting for soone?" Ian asked Cedric.
"Yeah, you said she loved soone and that she would only ever be with that person." Cedric said as he recounted his conversation with Ian.
"Well, Guan Ming is that person." Ian said in a matter of frank tone.
"Wait, how did this even happen?" Cedric asked. "How did they et? I don't rember her ever ntioning a Guan Ming."
"It's a sore topic." Ian said with a frown.
"Well you better start talking, before I call Camilla and ask her." Cedric pointed out. "Her feelings for Guan Ming could compromise our plans. If I'm guessing correctly, Lucius Ting will be eting with Guan Ming tonight. And we both know how much he likes to show Camilla off."
"Alright, alright. I'll tell you. Calm down." Ian said as he rolled his eyes at Cedric.
"And don't skip details." Cedric threatened.
"Yes boss." Ian teased.
"Just tell us." Adrianna said as she rolled her eyes. She was too tired to deal with their banter.
"It was years ago, on our first year working with the Reyes Group, we went with your father and Marco to an international tech expo in Hong Kong. That's where they first t." Ian said as he shook his head.
Cedric was shocked, that was the exact sa event that he had t Guan Ming at. As a matter of fact he knew that his father was there, and Emilio Reyes had even offered to give him a lift to Hong Kong, but he refused.
He was there for work as an assistant to the head of the operations departnt of Mor Co.
It was one of his first trips out of the country for work and he was very excited.
Unfortunately for Cedric, the employees whom he had gone with were not the kindest, so he was left alone. That's how he eventually t Guan Ming.
"Well, Guan Ming was looking for his friend, to be honest we never found out who that friend was, but I left Camilla and Guan Ming together and they just clicked." Ian explained. "They were inseparable after that."
"What happened?" Cedric asked Ian.
"Wait a minute!" Adrianna said as she suddenly sat up, rembering sothing. "Isn't your friend from Hong Kong nad Guan Ming?! The one you t at a tech expo?"
Ian suddenly looked at Cedric, it didn't take much to connect the dots, it was clear as day that Cedric's Guan Ming and Camilla's Guan Ming were the sa question.
"Then what is he doing here working with Lucius Ting?" Ian asked Cedric.
Cedric closed his eyes and shook his head.. He didn't think he would need to explain his plan this soon.
