"Cedric we have a problem." Leon told his boss as everyone exited the eting room.
Cedric raised an eyebrow and let everyone leave ahead of him.
"Wait." Cedric said as he checked it the caras in the room were still recording. When he was sure that they had stopped recording he nodded at Leon and gave him the go signal to speak.
"What is it?" Cedric asked Leon.
"Well, I have so distressing news." Leon said with a frown. "The Mountain View Mansion was attacked."
"What?!" Cedric asked in an angry tone. "My wife, my sister, my dad, were they all there?"
"Yes, but they have been taken to a safe location." Leon told Cedric.
"Does it have anything to do with the Barons?" Cedric asked.
"We don't know yet." Leon confessed. "They are still attacking, but they have not breached the walls. Our n think they will give up soon. They are still outside of the community, luckily we increased security for today."
"How about my son?" Cedric asked with a worried look on his face as he realized that Yoyo was not in the mansion, but rather he was in school.
"There has been no attempt on Yoyo, it seems that whoever is trying to attack Mountain View doesn't know about him yet." Leon reported to Cedric.
"Keep an eye on Yoyo, I don't want him being found out." Cedric told Leon. "As for everyone else, the best place for them might be Mountain View at the mont."
"The president is already sending the military to help out." Leon inford Cedric. "I managed to speak to your father. It seed that whoever planned this attack used your scandal as a cover."
"How did they know we were going to pull off sothing this big?" Cedric asked as he thought of the possibilities. It was impossible that he had a traitor among his people.
Everyone was tried and tested, he trusted every single one of them with his life.
"I think they simply anticipated." Leon suggested. "When you released the video and they noticed that neither your wife nor your sister showed up to work today, they quickly assembled their forces and launched the attack."
"Keep updated on this, I need to tell Ray." Cedric said as he calmly walked out of the room.
To his surprise he found Ray waiting for him at the other side of the door.
"Have you heard from them?" Ray asked in a low voice, making sure that no one else could hear him.
"They are safe, don't worry." Cedric said as he placed a hand on his brother-in-law's shoulder. "The security team managed to get them to safety and uncle Jose is sending in the military to help out."
"Whoever did this will pay." Ray hissed as he noticed Alexi approaching.
"Why did I need to find this out from my dad?" He asked as glared at Cedric and Ray. "Selina and Natalia went to Mountain View to keep Adrianna and Ayanna company, what the fuck happened?"
"Soone took advantage of our little show, we distracted everyone thus giving them the opportunity to attack the Mountain View community." Cedric explained.
"That place is supposed to be the safest place to live, how the fuck did soone manage to get in?" Alexi asked. He too lived in the Mountain View community a few blocks down Cedric's ho.
"It still is the safest place to live." Cedric said as he glared at Alexi. "From what I picked up, my security team managed to hold off the equivalent of a small army. How does soone bring an army of rcenaries to the capital, Alexi?"
"Relax, both of you." Ray said as he tried to stop the argunt from getting out of hand. "The matter has already been handled, let's take one battle at a ti."
Alexi and Cedric both took a step back and took deep breaths calming themselves down. Ray was right. They both needed to relax, the matter was already being handled.
"We need to focus on what is in that room now, we aren't done with the Barons. We end this then we move on." Ray told Alexi and Cedric. "Don't forget we still have Lucius to deal with when we get back and this whole Mien being Fernando's son."
"Ray is right, one battle at a ti." Cedric said with a sigh.
"Miguel and Ram already know, they've gotten in touch with everyone at Mountain View." Ram inford Cedric.
"And Ian?" Cedric asked as he rembered that his assistant had left the room before him.
"He knows, he also knows that they are safe." Ray said with a nod.
"Let's deal with the Barons so that we can get back ho as quickly as possible." Cedric said with a nod as he led their group into the next room.
Unlike when they had first entered, the recreational room turned holding cell was not as brightly lit.
It seed that Seth and his n had switched off so of the lights to give the room an intimidating feel the mont you stepped in.
"My n can't witness this." Alexi reminded Cedric who simply nodded, allowing Alexi to dismiss the mbers of the military who had brought the Baron Family to the next room.
Cedric was confident that the Barons would not be able to escape since it was not just his n in the room. The mbers of Ray's underworld team and those from the Dean Mafia family were there as well.
When all the mbers of the military had left, shutting the door behind them, Cedric ordered his n to secure each individual from the Baron Family.
"What the fuck is going on?" Evan Baron asked as he spat at the guard holding him.
Katerina walked up to him and slapped him in the face, the room was so silent that the sound of her slap echoed across the room.
"Asshole." Katerina hissed. "Don't you dare talk. If I hear another fucking disrespectful word from you one of these n will make you eat your own touge." Katerina threatened quickly shutting Evan Baron up.
Cedric smiled as he watched all the mbers of the Baron Family try to step back as Katerina passed them.
Katerina Sebastian was no simple woman, she was very intimidating and today she just showed them why she had such a reputation.
As soon as Katerina was done dealing with the Barons, Cedric nodded at Seth, telling him it was ti.
"I have a familiar friend I'd like you to et." Cedric said with a grin as so mbers of the Dean Mafia Family arrived.
At first, no one noticed the man crawling on the ground in chains. But as one of the n pulled on the chains, the man fell flat on his face.
"What is that?" Rodrigo Baron said as he pointed at the person on the ground.
Cedric was surprised when he heard his assistant, Ian Lim, laugh at Rodrigo's question.
"You don't know him?" Cedric asked as he motioned for Seth's n to co closer.
"A little light please." Ray called out as soone switched on a few more lights, making the room a little bit brighter.
"Mr. Roderigo Baron, how could you not recognize your best friend?" Seth asked as he lifted Brian's chin, making him look at Rodrigo and Jean directly in the eyes.
