"I'm sorry boys, but I have no idea." Katerina told her brother and his friends as she felt Eric's arm wrap around her waist.
"Katerina, how could she have hid all of that from you? You have one of the best teams in the country." Alexi asked his sister.
"She was just too careful Alexi." Katerina said, shaking her head. "You can ask Cedric, he sent a second team to observe her and still he found nothing. All I know is, there was always soone else. He probably even ca before you."
"What do you an?" Alexi asked his sister.
"I had her whole background investigated." Katerina said with a shrug. "As soon as you started getting serious with her I sent people to watch her."
"YOU DID WHAT BEHIND MY BACK?!" Alexi asked furiously.
"Well if it were any other woman I wouldn't have done that." Katerina told her brother. "I didn't like Jen from the start and I told you sothing was off, and you didn't listen. Even Natalia agrees with ." Katerina said in a raised voice.
"Natalia?" Alexi asked as he looked to his quieter sister.
"Well I don't disagree with Katerina. . ." Natalia said with her voice trailing.
"Please, we told you Alexi, we warned you about her, but you didn't listen." Katerina scoffed.
"So how sure are you that she didn't et him when we were together?" Alexi asked again.
"Simple, she never went to places where she could et so random CEO or powerful man." Katerina said with a shrug.
"But she worked for Miguel, and all of Miguel's clients co from powerful and rich backgrounds. So she could have t him there, your assumption is wrong , sister." Alexi said proudly.
"Wrong." Katerina said with a grin. "Miguel or Nicole would have known if she had t soone while at work. If not the two then one of the other nurses, you can't exactly hide things while working at the Saints Hospital on Kashre."
"Selina, would you know if she t anyone before coming ho?" Cedric asked Selina, who was sitting next to her twin and listening quite intently.
"I'm not sure." Selina answered. "When we decided to go our separate ways I moved to Paris from Milan while she went on to go to Germany, I'm not sure where in Germany though, it was almost a year after that before she ca ho. I'm sure she t people while she was there."
"We need to look into the people she interacted with while she was abroad." Alexi told the others.
"I'm not sure we can, that's too far back and too far out of our reach." Katerina said, shaking her head. She knew that her brother's judgent was now, sowhat clouded.
"Just look." Alexi hissed at her.
"Alexi, watch the way you speak to your sister!" Jose Sebastian reprimanded his son.
"I'm sorry." Alexi said as he stord out of the Reyes Mansion.
"I'll go after him." Selina said as she stood up.
"I'll drive you." Helios told his twin.
"I'll send your parents ho." Cedric told Helios and Selina with a nod, urging them to go after the angry Alexi.
"Thank you." Helios said as he and his sister left the room.
Cedric was sure that Alexi had already sped off and was on his way to his Mountain View Mansion. Alexi wouldn't want to go back to the Sebastian ho tonight, it would just be too painful. Add to that the fact that he had just argued with almost every mber of his family.
"I know it will be hard, but I will still have soone look into the people she interacted with after she and Selina parted ways." Katerina inford everyone.
"Keep us posted." Cedric said with a nod.
"We should all go ho and rest." Priscilla Reyes told their guests. "We've all had a long day."
"Mom, I'll drive the Ramirezes' ho." Cedric inford his mother.
"Take one of your bigger cars." Priscilla told her son. "They are better equipped and they are much more comfortable than that sedan you love so much."
"I will mom." Cedric said with a smile.
"Before I forget, there are so fruits here that a guest gave. I had the maids pack so up for everyone." As Priscilla Reyes said this several maids ca in and gave each family a basket of fruits.
"Mom." Ayanna complained with a laugh.
"What? I don't want all of this fruit going to waste, plus everyone should have a taste after the difficult end to this day." Priscilla told her daughter.
"I'll see you tomorrow mom." Ayanna said with a laugh as she placed a kiss on her mom's cheek and hugged the elder woman.
"Shoo, go ho, give us more grandkids." Priscilla teased the newly married couple.
"Mom!" Ayanna complained again as she blushed.
"What?" Priscilla asked her daughter.
"We aren't in a rush and we have been married for a year." Ayanna reminded her mother.
"Look at little Emilio and Tristan, they need a friend." Priscilla said as she pointed towards the now sleeping children. "A little sister cousin for them would be perfect."
"Okay mom, we'll head ho now." Ayanna said with a laugh as she pulled her husband away.
"Bye mom, bye dad." Ray called out as he left with Ayanna.
"Be safe, Cedric." Priscilla told her son as she hugged him and placed a kiss on her grandson's forehead, who was now in Cedric's arms.
"I will mom." Cedric said with a nod. "Leon and the rest of the convoy will be with us."
With that Cedric, Adrianna, Dante and Elissa Ramirez walked out of the Reyes mansion.
Outside Cedric's white Rolls Royce Phantom waited for them.
Cedric opened the door to let Elissa Ramirez and Adrianna in, before handing the sleeping little boy over to his wife.
Dante Ramirez chose to sit in the front seat, while Cedric jogged over to the driver's side. He wanted to drive the car ho himself.
The Ramirez family lived in a well guarded community not far from Mountain View. There were many old families that lived in the area.
Most of the drive was in silence as Cedric was not really familiar with the Ramirezes and he did not know what to say. As they neared their destination however, Dante Ramirez spoke up.
"Thank you for not looking down on our Selina." Dante Ramirez suddenly said.
"Why would we do that Mr. Ramirez?" Cedric asked as they cruised along the highway.
"Please, call Dante or uncle Dante." Dante Ramirez told Cedric, to which he simply replied with a nod. "For many reasons, one being that she and Helios are adopted." Dante said.
"Uncle, that doesn't matter." Cedric said, shaking his head. "I am sure that in your heart, Selina and Helios are your true children." Cedric was never one to judge people by their birth.
"Also because she slept with Alexi, she has been in love with him for quite so ti now and in all honesty Jose and I have been trying to get them together." Dante Ramirez said with a sigh.
"Alexi cares deeply about her too." Cedric said with a smile. "You can't really fault soone for loving."
As Cedric said this they pulled up in front of the Ramirez ho.
