"So, will you tell where she is?" Eric asked, ignoring the man that was just dragged away.

"Sir, company protocol says that I cannot." The receptionist nervously said as she looked up at the handso face in front of her.

Eric leaned forward and smiled, the receptionist was nervous now, she never expected to be this close to a man like Eric Chan. She wanted to faint, he was too close, was this how Miss Calathea felt whenever he flirted with her, the receptionist couldn't help but be jealous of their young miss.

"Please sir, take a step back." The receptionist said as she gathered her composure.

Eric smiled and raised his hands feigning innocence. As he took a step back his phone began to ring, he grinned as he took a look at the na, it was Calathea.

"Calathea." Eric said in a soothing voice as he picked up the call.

"Eric Chan what the hell are you doing?" Calathea said in a furious tone.

"I'm visiting you." Eric said. "You didn't tell you were back in the country, why did I have to hear it from Mr. Reyes?"

"You never looked at my direction, why are you Regis Inc. now?" Calathea asked.

"Just a visit. I'll leave the flowers at the lobby for you." Eric said as he grinned. He didn't want to take those flowers ho, he would never give Katerina flowers that were supposed to be for soone else.

Eric dropped the call and placed the flowers on the receptionists' table.

"These are for Calathea, make sure she gets them." Eric said as he turned and left. His step was much faster as he looked at his watch, five minutes.

He finally managed to make his way through the crowd of fans and into his car. He dialed the number for his bodyguard and asked him to clear the way. As his bodyguards were clearing a path for him he frantically dialed Katerina's number, but she didn't pick up.

Unfortunately for Eric, right as he was going to call her again Cedric called.

"Good job." Cedric said happily over the phone.

"Don't call , I need to talk to Katerina, if she spots this rumor I'm not going to be allowed into her house!" Eric angrily said.

"Don't you want to know how it went?" Cedric asked with a laugh.

"Right now I don't care about the result, I'm more worried about my girlfriend's reaction." Eric said as he quickly dropped the call.

As he continued to try contacting Katerina a ssage ca in, it was from Cedric.

'Haha, I'd be panicked too if I were you. Co to R Tower after changing cars.'

Eric groaned as the ringing suddenly stopped and the most angelic voice ca through.

"What's with all the missed calls Eric?" Katerina asked, her tone sounded worried.

"Katerina have I ever told you how your voice is the most beautiful sound in the world?" Eric asked in a lovesick tone.

"What did you do that needs forgiveness?" Katerina said, clearly annoyed.

"Please avoid social dia and all those gossip forums, and if Calathea calls you please ignore her." Eric said sweetly.

"Eric what are you going on about?" Katerina asked, she was clearly not amused with his ga.

"I'll pick you up in your office. I just need to change cars, please wait for darling." Eric said as he dropped the call and sped off from the driveway of Regis Inc.

In a law office across town Katerina was even more curious now about Eric's ramblings, so she decided to open social dia.

The first article she found imdiately hit her hard.

'Eric Chan and Calathea Carpio? Love Quarrel?' The accompanying image was a photo of Eric, walking out of his car with a bouquet of flowers looking more handso than normal.

"What the hell?" Katerina said out loud as she looked at her phone and read through the comnts section.

'Ha! You might be the president's daughter but Calathea Carpio is the one Eric Chan loves. Best to put biches like that in their place.' The most liked comnt read, making Katerina feel sad.

'I wish my husband would do things like that. It's so romantic. Calathea Carpio is the luckiest woman alive.' Another user comnted.

'Wow, Eric Chan is going after the most powerful won, first it's the president's daughter and now the daughter of one of the richest companies in the country!' Another comnt read.

'Whatever happened to his denial? Why is he chasing after Calathea now? I'm happy for Miss Calathea, don't give him an easy ti. Make him work for it.'

'They are such a beautiful couple, I wouldn't mind my husband picking a woman like her.'

'Nothing happened between him and the President's daughter anyway, I bet she just wanted to date a handso guy.'

'Elegant! Calathea Carpio is perfect for our Eric Chan.'

Katerina couldn't read anymore, she was always a strong woman, except when it ca to Eric. He was her Kryptonite, the smallest rumors about him with any woman hurt her, the thought of losing him would drive her crazy.

"Miss Katerina?" Her assistant asked as he entered the room with so docunts. He was shocked to see his boss in such a sad state, he even thought he saw her crying.

"Please cancel all my etings for the rest of the day." Katerina said as she quickly composed herself.

The comnts online and the article might have hurt her, but she promised Eric that she would never jump into conclusions. She knew how well the dia and the internet could manipulate the truth and the only person she would believe was Eric. If he said he would pick her up then it must be a misunderstanding. She believed that Eric would never cheat on her, he was probably coming over to explain things.

As she thought that an painful idea crossed her mind, what if Eric was coming over to tell her that he no longer loved her? What if the scene at Regis Inc. wasn't an act for Cedric's plan, what if Eric had gone over of his own free will and wanted Calathea over her?
