The Saints Hospital team eventually managed to calm Ciara down by injecting a sedative into her. She had already begun to get violent making Ian worry about Nicole who was directing everything and standing too close for comfort.
Ciara was taken to a separate ward for observation, Nicole had also called for a psychiatrist to help out in caring for the poor girl. It seed that the events at Hype Bar had done quite so damage to her.
"What happened?" Adrianna asked as she entered Cedric's room with Ray and Ayanna.
"The patient they brought out got a little violent, so they needed to sedate her and take her to another room where the nurses and doctors can keep a closer eye on her." Cedric explained as he smiled at his wife.
"Cedric Reyes, that is not what I am talking about." Adrianna said angrily as she walked towards her husband. "How did you end up in the hospital this ti?" Adrianna asked with a sigh as she held her husband's hand.
Cedric looked up at her and saw the look of worry that she carried. He didn't like it when she worried, if he could keep her happy all his life he would do that.
"Are you ready to get even more mad at ?" Cedric asked.
"Did you do sothing petty or stupid to end up here?" Adrianna asked her husband.
"Yes." Ian answered for Cedric with a laugh.
"You know how we released all the dirt on the bullies?" Cedric asked Adrianna slowly.
"Don't tell you went there to gloat?!" Adrianna asked angrily.
"No, no, I didn't." Cedric said.
"It's worse." Ian said with a grin earning him an elbow to the gut from Nicole.
"I wanted to see how they were doing, so I had Ian look for them and we went over to Hype. I had all my bodyguards with in case they started a fight." Cedric explained.
"Really, just for that? And how did you get shot? And who was that girl?" Adrianna asked one question after the other.
"Well, I saw them taking advantage of a young girl and I stopped them. I an, I can't just leave them to harass an innocent person. That's when Carlo got angry, took out a gun and tried to shoot ." Cedric quickly explained, hoping that Adrianna's anger would not be as bad since he had saved a poor girl.
"Why did you have to be the one to save the girl? Couldn't you have asked one of your n to do it?" Adrianna asked.
Cedric was shocked, his wife had managed to find sothing to question in every statent he made. He decided not to answer her questions and to just keep quiet.
"That's not going to work Cedric, answer ." Adrianna told him angrily.
"I didn't think Adri. I just thought, what if it were you, or Ayanna, or our future daughter that was being harassed at a bar. I just couldn't let it pass." Cedric said as he looked into her eyes.
Behind Adrianna, Cedric could see Ian giving him a thumbs up while Nicole smacked him on the head for being childish.
"Cedric." Adrianna said with a sigh as she sat on the bed next to him. Cedric quickly took advantage and placed his arm around her waist. "Please don't do anything that foolish again. You're a very important person and you can change the world in a much more significant way. Don't be so impulsive. I know you had good intentions, but think of and Emilio as well when you risk your life like that."
"I won't honey." Cedric said as he placed a gentle kiss on her hand.
Adrianna smiled and planted a kiss on his lips.
"Where's our son?" Cedric asked.
"Well I wasn't sure if you were really fine so I left him with the elders. They said they will visit in the morning." Adrianna told her husband.
Ian suddenly stood up and turned on the TV in the hospital.
"Mae called, I asked her to keep an eye on the situation outside as well as to move your schedule around." Ian told Cedric.
"I can work and do virtual etings." Cedric said with a shrug.
"You're too much of a workaholic." Ayanna complained.
The words breaking news flashed on the TV as Ian flipped through the channels.
"Earlier today an incident in Hype Bar spread all over social dia. Five n were taken into custody for harassnt and assault. No other details have been released to the public, we will now go live to the 1st police district where Capt. Damien Park is holding a press conference." The news anchor said as the image cut to Damien standing behind a podium in his uniform.
"At exactly 5:35pm today we arrested five n inside Hype Bar. These n were Carlo Juan, Juancho David Jr., Benjamin Sanchez, Dennis Von, and Kevin Garcia. According to our investigation they were seen intaking illegal substances and forcing it on unsuspecting won. The said won have already been brought to a nearby hospital and are recovering quite well." Damien paused to allow viewers to absorb the first part of his statent. "On top of these charges they will also be charged with assult and attempted rape. They had harassed a young woman and would have had their way had a few brave n not co over to save the woman. As a result Carlo Juan pulled out a gun and attempted to shoot the man that had pulled the young woman away from them. Luckily so brave patrons in the bar managed to tackle Mr. Carlo Juan, avoiding any serious injury due to the gunshot. His companions were also subdued by other patrons of the bar."
When Capt. Damien stopped talking, the reporters began to shout their questions. Damien pointed at one reporter who quickly asked his question.
"What happened to the man that Carlo Juan attempted to shoot? According to rumors the injury was quite serious." The reporter asked.
"Those involved have already been brought to the hospital and have received treatnt. The injuries sustained were not as bad as rumors paint it out to be." Capt. Damien announced.
"You've released the nas of the n you arrested, will you also release the na of the heroes that saved the girl?" Another reporter asked as he was given the signal.
"No, those n have requested to remain anonymous so we respect their decision." Damien quickly answered.
"These n you arrested, are they the sa whose scandals have painted every gossip website in the country?" A reporter asked.
"Yes, the accusations against them are also being investigated as we speak, so if they are proven true it may add up to their existing charges. Last question." Damien said as he called on the last reporter.
"Have any of them posted bail?" The final reporter asked.
"No." Damien answered simply as he ended the press conference.
The screen shifted back to the anchor in the studio as soon as Damien answered the final question.
"The five n reported in the incident have recently been disowned by their families due to their scandals, we were initially expecting them to have posted bail since they all co from affluent families. The fact that their families have not posted bail has created speculation that their fathers will not co to save them." The anchor said as he shed a little more light on the situation. "We have also scoured all the hospitals in the vicinity and we suspect that the hero who was shot is at Saints Hospital. We are still waiting for a statent from Saints." At that flash report cut off.
Suddenly Ian's and Nicole's phones began to ring vigorously.
