The weekend went by peacefully and Monday soon ca around. Adrianna was still sleepy and was planning on skipping work that day when she realized that she had a lunch eting. Uncle Matthew had worked hard to get a new partner for the launch of Henry's new line of clothing.

She quickly ssaged Mia to cancel her other morning etings and that they would go straight to lunch. The eting was going to be held at Nouveau, Adrianna didn't want to have it there at first, but since the timing was quite tight they couldn't get a reservation at a decent place in such a short ti.

When Adrianna ca down for breakfast she was still yawning. Cedric was already dressed and holding a tablet while Ian stood behind him.

Cedric looked up and smiled at his wife. He had a very busy day ahead but when he saw how exhausted she seed, he chose to stay and wait for her. He wanted to energize her by taking her to work. Knowing that it could take a while, he called Ian to bring the docunts he needed to deal with, while Camilla held down the fort at R Tower.

"I won't go to Island's Inc. in the morning. I'll go straight to my lunch eting." Adrianna said as a maid served her breakfast. Cedric looked at this wife and tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear. He was worried. Ian had told him about what had happened during the event Adrianna attended. Soone was taking all the benefit of being Mrs. Reyes.

At first Cedric wanted to jump in and take down the Moyra family, but he eventually decided against it. Adrianna didn't want him to interfere and he wanted her to realize how much help being Mrs. Reyes could bring. So far no harm had co to his wife, and he didn't see a way for her to get hurt in the situation. Even if her na was ruined it was sothing he could easily fix if things got out of hand. So he was waiting for Adrianna to either ask him for help or for her to manage the problem on her own and fix it.

"Why didn't you go ahead to R Tower?" Adrianna asked as she took a bite of her breakfast.

"I wanted to wait for you. I can do my work here and take you to work later." Cedric said as Ian handed him so docunts to sign. "Since you need to go to R Tower for your eting, this is very convenient." Cedric said with a smile. Spending more ti with his wife was worth the additional work he would have to do later in the day.

"I'll need to go back to Island's Inc. later after my eting. I can't take your car." Adrianna argued.

Cedric already thought about this problem, as a matter of fact, he already expected all the excuses and issues Adrianna would bring up. He knew his wife quite well at this point. "Adri, I've already arranged for everything." Cedric explained as he placed down the docunts. "When you're ready, we'll take my car to R Tower, no one else is allowed on the sa elevator as us so we will head up to my office. I already checked, no one has etings on our floor in the morning so you won't bump into any Reyes Group employee. At lunch, Mia will take your car to R Tower and we will arrange for the elevator you will take to go to the basent and back up with Mia."

Adrianna opened her mouth to point out an error in Cedric's plan, but she couldn't co up with any. Cedric smiled as his wife realized that he had already thought of everything and had already arranged for their day.

"I know you cancelled everything, so there won't be a need for you to work in the morning." Cedric said. "You can just relax in my office or in my lounge. I'll make sure to tell you when Mia arrives."

"Fine." Adrianna said in surrender as she shook her head.

Just as Cedric had planned, he and Adrianna went to R Tower and Adrianna rested a little more in Cedric's lounge. When Ayanna heard that her sister-in-law was in her brother's office she attempted to move her work to his room, but Cedric refused. He explained to Ayanna how his wife needed to rest. Ayanna being sensible and also having a lot of work to do, bowed her head in surrender and marched back to her office.

Adrianna was already restless thirty minutes before her eting and asked Cedric if she could stay with Ayanna. Cedric agreed and sent Camilla to check if Ayanna was alone. When they confird that she had no etings in the morning, Adrianna went over to her sister-in-law's office.

"Adrianna." Ayanna greeted in a calm but happy tone. Adrianna could see that Ayanna was actually in the middle of working and was quite busy.

"Maybe I shouldn't have co over, you're busy." Adrianna said as she hesitated from entering.

"No, it's no bother. I like talking while working. The silence is boring." Ayanna said looking up with a smile. "It's so rare for you to be here sister-in-law, how could I not be excited."

Adrianna did as Ayanna said she ca in and sat on the couch. Camilla ca in not long after with a cup of tea and so snacks for Adrianna.

"My brother sure thinks of everything." Ayanna said with a laugh.

"He spoils too much." Adrianna said, rolling her eyes.

"He just loves you. He wasn't able to treat you the way he wanted in the past. Now is his chance and you're being incredibly stubborn." Ayanna teased.

"I just don't want him to ever think that I'm with him because he is the Reyes Heir. I'm with him because he is Cedric, and he is the man that I love." Adrianna said as she looked out the window with a smile.

"I'm sure my brother knows that. You know Adri, it breaks his heart when he can't help you because you won't let him." Ayanna explained in a sad tone.

Adrianna took a sip of her tea when Ayanna's assistant knocked and told her that several mbers of Elisia Mall's design departnt were demanding to see her.

"Sister-in-law, do you mind staying in my lounge for a few minutes? I promise you won't be late." Ayanna asked.

Adrianna nodded and took her drink while the assistant carried her snacks and they went to Ayanna's connecting lounge.
