Chapter 51 - Evan D. Sherden, Hunting for Treasure (1)

Evan D. Sherden, Hunting for Treasure (1)

As promised, Evan decided to buy Shine and Belois new suits first. He asked Serena, who would wear only the most expensive and pretty clothes in the country, but she tilted her head and replied that she had never bought her own clothes.

“Is it necessary to buy my clothes myself?”

“It’s my fault that I asked the Princess. Sorry, I couldn’t help it. Let’s go to a store I know.”

“Well, you’re also coming to the royal road for the first ti. How do you know about that?”

“There is a way to know everything.”

Evan went to the most expensive boutique in the royal road he knew. It went without saying that the source of information was the Yo-Ma Great War series. As you progressed through the ga, you were invited to a party of nobles.

In order to receive the King’s gratitude, there were cases where it was necessary to wear expensive clothes.

At this ti, the players looked for a boutique. Depending on which store they went to and what clothes they chose, the developnt of the event changed slightly, which in fact, had a decisive influence on the ending, which was either a successful or devastating one.

“I can’t forget the charm of octopus clothes, especially at sea parties. The production crew guys should get hair loss.”

“Can you not swear while being with , Master?”

“The clothes were such a disaster. When worn at the sea, there was a 100% chance that a terrible, field boss monster called Kraken appeared.”

The most annoying thing was that there was no explanation to the effect of attracting monsters anywhere in the clothes. They were not even an artifact, they were just plain clothes. Just plain clothes with only the ability of adjusting their size according to the wearer!

However, if you wore those clothes and attended a sea party, a kraken suddenly appeared from a distant sea and swallowed you.

The player faced a terrible ending. If the word ‘unreasonable’ took on the shape of a dress, it was certainly those clothes!

‘By the way, the clothes were among the most priciest of things a player could buy, so of course, if you purchased them, it was like hitting yourself on the foot with a hamr if you did not save the ga before buying the dress.’

If you saved it before buying clothes, you’d be glad.

If a save was done afterwards (Yo-Ma Great War series was famous for having only one save file from generation to generation!), the only thing waiting for you was ruin. You had no choice but to start over from the beginning!

“Evan Oppa always says funny things. Is it always like this?”

“Yes, it’s the sa most of the ti.”

“Because I’m like this too?”

“Then it looks like the two of us are quite similar. My dad said that we looked good together, but I guess he really was right.”

Serena was joyful, quietly talking about it without thinking. Evan was trembling to see her, but Shine sneaked up behind him and whispered,

“Master, how the hell did this happen? I really thought there wasn’t any person in the world like you.”

“Alright Shine, please stop talking. I’m already upset enough because of the Princess.”

“Does this world originally love people if their appearance is prettier or different to others?” Evan muttered to himself.

“What did you an by that? Hey, don’t look away and answer straight . Look in the eyes. Hey.”

Evan and Shine arrived at the boutique. It was in a frenzy as always. It was a super high-end clothing store in such a street where people who were not high-ranking noblen could not even walk around.

“…How much do I have to pay to get in there?”

“There is no admission fee, so co in with confidence.”

The two escorts the King sent along stood on the lookout outside of the boutique, and Dain, the escort knight brought by Evan (he was there! From start to finish!), decided to entrust Evan’s safety to the store’s escort as he went inside with the rest.

Evan didn’t know, but Dain also knew the knights of the royal road.

He was famous enough among the Royal Knights, so he was having conversations with them occasionally on the way. In the main ga, he was just an extra without a dedicated CGI!

“Welco. This is Autopa Boutique…Oh my goodness.”

A woman, the store owner and designer, greeted them directly. In general, those who did business with nobles in such a street often had the ability to give out estimates from custors at once, even if they were junior aristocrats themselves, and she did the sa.

“You are the Princess. How did you get out of the Palace? Moreover, the boy you are with has beautiful black hair, dark purple eyes, and an off-white appearance that has already been outstanding since a young age…It must be Evan D. Sherden, known as Sherden’s jewel, Young Master!”

‘The fact that the two are going out together, will they beco engaged?’?The designer’s eyes sparkled at such a thought and knew that everyone who listened to it would be excited.

While excited at such information could erupt noise in whole of the royal road, the second party behind Evan also caught her eye, and at that mont she was even more amazed.

‘Both these are extrely pretty!? But they are just children… And servants, is she a maid? With that face?’

The shopkeeper was confused, but Evan clapped lightly. Knowing what was going through her head Evan shook her hand belatedly and said to the storekeeper who was trying to put on a good fa?ade.

“I want you to choose the coolest and most beautiful clothes for these two children. With the best fabric. As an outdoor outfit they can wear on a regular basis.”

“Yes, sir.”

Evan’s status was too high for her to start yelling about why he would want his servants to wear such expensive and boutique outfits. Moreover, the beauty of the two children was srizing. They were too beautiful to not put on good clothes. The beauty was burning her soul!

“Oh, and all the clothes here are able to increase in size, right?”

“Of course, Master Evan. We use magical materials for our boutiques so that we can respond to changes in our custors’ body size! Even a growing child can wear any number of clothes. Now, guests. Co over here!”

Evan had chosen this boutique because this was a place that dealt in magical materials that automatically adjusted to increase in size, even if the wearer grew.

Although there was no other magical performance, the clothes here were very popular because they could be worn even if you gained weight or lost so, and you could also wear the clothes from when you were young.

Evan also didn’t know when he would return if he left the royal road this ti, so he thought this was opportune for him to provide a set of clothes for Shine and Belois.

“Oppa, will you also buy new clothes?”

“If you buy clothes here, even if your body grows later, you can keep wearing them without having to throw away the mories left with the clothes you used to wear as a child.”

“When you wear clothes, do you make mories in them?”

“That’s right.”

Clothes have mories stuck with them. Indeed, it was an appropriate expression. Evan nodded without much thought, but he had actually detonated a bomb.

The Princess imdiately began to flock to him.

“Then buy clothes too.”

“Princess, you have a lot of money and clothes already.”

“I don’t like them. I want to wear those clothes that Evan Oppa bought so I can make new mories with them.”

‘Her instant mood shifts are mindboggling.’

“So let’s do this. I will buy clothes for Evan Oppa, so that he wears clothes with mories that Princess Serena bought him. How about it, is it fair? And then we can wear clothes with mories of each other.”

‘Is she even thinking?’?Evan did not conceal his desperate expression and devised a way out. Serena was enjoying Evan’s reaction.

He looked back at Dain as if asking for salvation, but Dain turned back disrespectfully and giggled,?‘You have to protect yourself from this ntal crisis.’’

“… Alright, let’s do it then.”

“Exciting!”

So, in the end, Evan and Serena bought their clothes. The clothes could shrink and stretch according to the wearer, so they could choose clothes that they liked and matched with each other. Their sizes were adjusted a little through the imdiate repair of the experts before they could wear it right away.

“Master, thank you very much. I really like this outfit.”

“It’s all black.”

Evan had rembered it from CGI in the ga, and Shine really liked the black outfit. It was a taste that had ford as he grew, but now it seed like it was ford since childhood.

His skin was dark. His eyes and hair were also dark, and surprisingly, his black clothes matched well. However, only the material was luxurious, but the design itself was similar to that of the butler’s clothes, but it was so luxurious that it did not look like a servant’s dress at all.

‘But the master likes bright colors. Why did he do it? Huh. If I get blood-colored clothes, will he notice it right away?’?Belois thought to herself.

The clothes that Evan chose (although Serena intervened a lot) were generally bright white, including the shirt, jacket, and belt.

They were bright enough to the point that every inch was too bright, save for the golden button, sand-purple embroidered finish on the sleeves, but Evan’s appearance was the brightest of them all.

“Oppa, how are your clothes?”

Evan and Shine exchanged reviews about each other’s clothes, and at the mont when they were struggling, Serena appeared as they opened the gorgeous curtains. At that mont, Evan’s eyes filled with the color pink completely.

“Isn’t it pretty?”

Pink fabric, bountiful frill, and prolific ribbon. It was a party dress where everything was dazzling. The silky dress which descended to the ankles, was so charming and splendid that it could not have suited Serena more.

“…You look pretty.”

“Is that it?”

“By the way Princess, are you thinking about wearing that today?”

“Huh. Why?”

“…No, it’s nothing.”

Evan turned to the mirror and looked at himself. One color of white. Shine was wearing black color. Serena was wearing pink. If they went out on the street like this… It definitely suited them, and it was very pretty.

“… Shine, about that, sorry.”

“No, Master…I’m a little sorry too.”

Their appearance was wildly beautiful than others. They would’ve looked like their features were sculpted by God Himself, if they were a little older.

At that ti, the last curtain finally opened and Belois appeared. She was with the designer.

“Thank you for your pretty clothes, Master.”

Belois was tying her slender shoulder straps. Contrary to Serena, it was a simple one-piece and sumr dress, which really went along with her bright skin. It was made up of white fabric with one piece of blue flower embroidery on it.

It was a really good outfit for a 9-year-old to wear, but why was it that he could feel the strangely mature color there? Evan didn’t know what to think of Belois. Belois noticed his agitation and tilted her head, “Is there sothing wrong with it, Master?”

“Young Master?”

“Oh, no. I thought my heart stopped because it was so pretty.”

“… Thank you, Master.”

“Wow, it’s really pretty. Even prettier than the earthworms. I think it’s very nice!”

Evan’s frank sentint, which had burst suddenly, had brought a slight smile to Belois’ features. However, Serena’s praise was a bit subtle, and her impression was firm. Evan wanted to tell Belois about the fact that it was unparalleled praise coming from Serena!

“Master, thank you for coming to our boutique. It’s been a while since I was really happy choosing clothes for my custor. I wonder if all of you have such wonderfully beautiful personalities as well!”

“Thank you, then I’ll be buying these clothes. And now, I have to calculate the cost… Princess, give them the money.”

“Yes, I’m buying Evan Oppa’s clothes!”

Evan tried to throw provocative words on purpose, but of course it didn’t work on the Princess. Evan pouted his lips and started calculating the money…

Evan found a red-colored dress shirt with a winding design, hung inside the store. It ca off as an octopus texture. Except for its size-adjustnt quality, it was a uselessly expensive dress with no other use.

“Master, why did you buy that?”

“…Give that too. Pack it up. Pack it tightly. It should be completely sealed so that it is never visible from outside, to anyone.”

Evan’s party finished their first shopping and left the boutique.

Thus, the evil dress had also been sealed away safely.
