"Wow, my acting is still as amazing as ever," I chuckled as I walked away from the crowd.
Almost everyone was adamant about insulting my humble god persona, because they were wary of the unknown.
I had demonstrated several inexplicable abilities, and humans, with their vivid imagination, were quick to imagine more abilities.
From that, their suspicions expanded, and now they thought I could probably read everyone’s minds, which was possible if I really tried.
It was like discovering that God existed, making everyone afraid of going to hell if they sinned.
As I continued to walk away, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of satisfaction. My plan was working perfectly. By keeping them on edge, I maintained control over the world.
It had been a good day, but as I walked into an alley, a bunch of thugs surrounded .
’Idiot, do you want us to get killed with your loud mouth?’ one of the thugs sneered in contempt. They must have been here to teach a lesson.
I didn’t realize I already had a lot of die-hard fans. Ironically, I didn’t know whether I should punish or praise them.
On one hand, they were here to teach a lesson for insulting their new god, which happened to be .
So, what should I do?
I decided to play along because it seed unfair to punish them just for acknowledging how aweso and powerful I was.
"Hey, co on now," I said, raising my two hands in the air. "There’s no need for violence. Can’t we just talk this out?"
One of the thugs, a burly guy with a shaved head, stepped forward and poked in the chest.
"Talking? You think we ca here for a chat? You disrespected the god of this world, and now you gotta pay!"
I couldn’t help but chuckle at the irony. "Oh, I see. So, what’s the punishnt for insulting... ?"
They looked at each other, montarily confused.
"Are you fucking crazy? You dare call yourself a god!" one of them roared.
"Well, on a scale of 1 to 10 in terms of being crazy, I’d probably be an 11. So yeah, I do think I’m crazy," I replied with a grin.
Before I could respond, they started shoving around, their attempts at intimidation more comical than threatening.
One of them tried to grab my collar but missed, stumbling over his own feet. Another one tried to grab from behind but I easily dodge his attempt.
"Wow, you guys are really dedicated," I said, trying not to laugh. "But maybe you should work on your coordination first."
"Stop talking you fucker!" the leader growled, his face turning red. He swung a punch at , but it was so slow and predictable that I easily sidestepped it.
"Look," I said, still grinning, "if you’re going to be my loyal followers, you’re going to need to step up your ga. How about I turn all of you into superheroes ?"
They paused, looking at like I had gone crazy "What?"
"You know, mutation stuff, X style. I can give you a lot of superpowers ," I teased further.
"Imagine flying but you can’t control which direction to fly, or having super strength with a delicate, easily injured body?" I chuckled, playfully evading their attempts to catch .
"Oh, here’s a good one: X-Ray Vision, but everything you see is blurry and distorted," I added with a grin.
The amount of powers I can co up with was astronomical, and I’m doing them a favor by offering it free of charge.
"Or how about the power to always find lost keys?" I added, pretending to ponder deeply. "Now that’s a useful one."
They stared at , still unsure whether to take seriously or not.
"You’re full of shit," one finally spat out, but I could see a hint of uncertainty in his eyes.
"Maybe," I shrugged nonchalantly, "but wouldn’t it be more fun to believe?"
"Enough of this nonsense!" the leader barked, trying to regain control of the situation. "Let’s finish this guy off and take his money."
"Take my money? So you guys are just robbing , and even using my flawless na to justify your actions," I said, shaking my head in disappointnt. "Here I was thinking you all could be good henchn."
The leader scowled, clearly annoyed by my remark. "Shut up and give us your wallet," he demanded, pulling out a knife.
I sighed dramatically. "Fine, fine. Just rember, even gods need their coffee money," I quipped, handing over my wallet.
One of the thugs looked up at suspiciously. "This better not be so kind of trick."
"No tricks," I assured him with a grin. "Just plain old robbery."
They checked the contents of the wallet and grinned widely, realizing it was filled to the brim.
"Let’s get out of here!" They quickly took what they wanted and hurriedly left the alley with smiles on their faces.
But after a while, they found themselves looking at my back.
"Oh, why did you co back? Did you have a change of heart and plan to give back my wallet?" I asked, turning around with a playful smirk.

They froze, clearly confused. They had run in a straight direction, so it was impossible for to be in front of them again so quickly.

One of them scoffed nervously, while another muttered sothing unintelligible under his breath.
"You’re crazy," the leader finally said, shaking his head as he turned around.
The others followed suit, and they hurriedly walked away. However, after a while, to their bewildernt, they found themselves inexplicably looping back and facing my back again.
"What the hell is going on? Why are we back here?" one of them muttered, clearly unnerved by the strange turn of events.
I turned around slowly, a mischievous grin spreading across my face. "I told you, didn’t I? I’m god "
