What could have happened to the Amazonians to cause such a complete disdain for their opposite sex? It was a question that I would like an answer.
"You know what, you're also pretty attractive, Queen Padae. How about you co with us too? I'm sure our Family head would be kind enough to make you his mistress" Harvey taunted, dropping all pretense and revealing his true colors.
His face twisted into a sinister grin, stretching from ear to ear, enjoying the fact that Padae was now at his rcy.
He deliberately slowed down his beam attacks, giving her false hope before intensifying them again when she tried to fight back.
"You imbecile!" Padae gritted her teeth in frustration , but before she could say more, she began vomiting blood.
Her face also turned pale, and her breathing beca more labored. She could feel the effects of overusing the Whip power; most of her vitality was now gone.
'That whip is powerful, but the drawback is also huge, 'I thought to myself, gathering more data about the weapon.
After a mont of break, Padae mustered the strength to stand up, but her knees buckled beneath her weight, unable to support her.
She reached out to grasp the whip, but her trembling fingers faltered, unable to maintain their grip.
"It's over. Hand her to us," Harvey declared, hovering in the air with his two hands directly aid at Padae, who knelt before him, visibly exhausted and in pain.
"Stop! don't hurt our sister!"
"Stop! leave her alone!"
Two female voices shouted in unison, and it was Padae's two sisters hurriedly raising their hands to protect her.
One of them even took the whip and attempted to use it, but it was too heavy, and the weapon did not even react.
"Give Lady Shao Mi to us, or we will kill everyone here," Harvey warned.
Padae forced herself to look him in the eye, but just trying to control her breathing was hard enough.
"You don't need to do that; I'm here," Shao Mi's voice finally echoed in the air.
I had noticed her approaching earlier, but I chose to remain silent, and went with the 'Wait and See' approach.
She hadn't been pushed into a corner just yet, so it was too early for to reveal myself and save the day.
For my plan to work effectively, she needed to experience first the feeling of being hopeless.
"Lady Shao Mi, co with us, and we won't make this a big deal. We would even put the Amazonians as a legit organization" Harvey hovered up, eting her mid-air.
"Okay," Shao Mi nodded weakly.
She appeared to have already lost her will to fight, which disappointed a little.
"Good Decision," Harvey replied with a wide grin.
However, before he could celebrate, Shao Mi appeared in front of him using a super speed movent technique, unleashing a punch filled with Light energy.
BOOOOOM!
The impact echoed with a deafening sound.
But, it wasn't Harvey who felt the force; instead, it struck the dark-skinned guy palm, who sohow managed to dampen the power of Shao Mi's attack
Surprised by the sudden turn of events, she quickly retreated, retrieving two fans from her waist.
Their presence puzzled because she hadn't wielded them during our previous encounter.
'Wait, those things have the sa material as the whip,' I mused inwardly.
"Let's work together and take her down," Harvey spoke after regaining his composure.
He punched so numbers into his wrist, which sported a touch screen, and neon light began coursing through his entire body like a strip light.
Initially blue, the neon light coursing through Harvey's body shifted to yellow, then to red. With each change, his energy surged rapidly.
Lukas, the dark-skinned guy, mirrored Harvey's actions.
As Lukas power intensified further along side Harvey, the two resembled generators running on overdrive.
"Let's finish this!" Harvey ordered.
SWOOOOOSH!

Both of them flew, effortlessly shattering the sound barrier and going even faster.
Their speed was such that to ordinary eyes, they almost seed to vanish. But of course , to , their movents were relatively slow.
As they closed in on Shao Mi, they clenched their fists, launching simultaneous attacks from opposite sides.
They knew she wouldn't go down easily, so they unleashed their full force without reservation.
However, before they could land their blows, she transford into light and dodged.
With their attacks already building montum, they ended up colliding with each other, generating a deafening boom.
The air around them burned with heat, showcasing the imnse power behind their punches.
"Stop running!" Harvey sneered in contempt as he tried to catch up with Shao Mi.
However, she remained faster than them, and after a few minutes, they found themselves getting further and further from the Amazonian city. It was all according to her plan .
At this point, with the normal Amazonian soldiers already defeated, the others from Harvey's group seized the opportunity, joining the pursuit with the intention of executing a pincer attack on Shao Mi.
Shao Mi, sensing their plan, accelerated even further, effortlessly outpacing her pursuers.
"Speed Booster Formation!" Harvey ordered, and the others from his group flew closer to him.
Then, with a deafening BOOM!
He launched himself towards Shao Mi, his speed almost quadrupled.
Caught off guard by the sudden surge in agility, she reacted late and was struck in the stomach, sending her flying through the air.
Fortunately, with her light power, she managed to reduce the damage from the impact and stabilized her flight.
But Harvey and the rest was not done yet.
They resud fighting and bombarding her with nonstop high powered attack, and when Lucas joined the fray, the battle quickly tilted in their favor, becoming completely one-sided.
She struggled to keep up with their combination attacks and almost flawless teamwork.
While individually, Harvey's group wasn't particularly impressive, once they began supplenting each other, even soone as strong as Shao Mi had to admit it was overwhelming.
