'This statue is interesting,' I said as I touched my chin thoughtfully.

The materials used to craft it were far from ordinary; they seed to pulsate with a so kind of energy, akin to the power I sensed emanating from the katanas .

As I studied the statue more closely, I could feel sothing weird but not dangerous.

There was an unsettling aura surrounding it, as if it were alive and watching . I half-expected it to spring to life and lunge at , its stone form morphing into a fearso deity.

Of course, with all my power, smashing this statue would be easy. It would fall apart like domino under my power.

Yuki and her family, on the other hand, stood there in awe.

All of them, except her, had reverence in their eyes, as if they were gazing upon a deity. But for Yuki, who had already witnessed countless incredible sights, this one failed to stir her heart.

I don't bla her. After all, my acting and special effects were top-notch, beyond anything she had seen before.

I had been invisible all this ti, quietly manipulating everything from the shadows.

From the very beginning, I was the one using my powers, not Yuki. I knew nothing about her katana, so how could I have even enhanced it?

And why would I even complicate things like those idiotic MC's in novels?

Oh, you have a magical katana? Let waste five chapters of the readers' ti explaining how I go through this unnecessary procedure to unlock its latent potential.

That would be nonsense.

If I were in a novel, I'd just make it seem like I figured out how the katana works during a tiskip, because to be honest, this piece of tal might have the ability to control elents.

But…

DING, I just purchased the ability to control elents, and now I'm the fucking Avatar.

So, what I did was simple. I gave her a regular tal pole and placed her katana inside my black hole. It was just a simple switcheroo trick; this girl was so amazed by the special effects that she didn't even realize I had swapped the whole thing.

Then, I altered the pole to resemble her sword. The black aura was just my mirage, adding so special effects that looked like they were from a multi-billion dollar movie project.

After that, I started spouting nonsense about an impending war, claiming she was chosen to be the flag bearer of her country, that she needed to beco the clan leader to unite everyone under one banner.

Typical cliché stuff that an unimaginative author would usually write.

At first, she was hesitant, so I tricked her into believing that I had my own world where I could control everything.

It was like stepping into a dream, where reality and fantasy danced together in perfect harmony. With each stroke of my power, the scene unfolded before her, vivid and alive.

She found herself standing on the edge of a huge paradise, stretching as far as the eye could see.

The land below was a patchwork of vibrant colors, with rolling hills and sparkling streams flowing through lush forests.

Above, the sky was a canvas of endless blue, dotted with fluffy clouds that drifted lazily by. And floating in the middle of this heavenly space were islands unlike any she had ever seen.

They float in the air like magic, each one a miniature world of its own, with towering trees and cascading waterfalls that spilled over the edges in a srizing display.

But the most breathtaking sight of all was the castle that soared high above the rest. It was like sothing out of a fairy tale, with turrets and towers that reached towards the heavens and walls that glead in the sunlight.

From its high perch, she could see the entire kingdom spread out below her, a breathtaking view that seed to stretch on forever.

And as she looked around in wonder, she realized that she was not alone. Creatures of myth and legend road the land, their forms as familiar as they were mythical .

Dragons soared through the sky with wings outstretched, while unicorns pranced gracefully through fields of wildflowers below.

For her, it was a world unlike any other, a place where anything was possible and magic was real. And as she took it all in, she knew that she had been truly enchanted by the wonders of this extraordinary realm.

In her eyes, I beca akin to a god, wielding powers beyond mortal comprehension.

Anyone who witnessed that scene would undoubtedly feel the sa way.

Fast forward to our assault on her clan, the Black Fla. It was all —the Dragon, the mirage, the shockwaves, and the roaring sounds were simply manifestations of my abilities.

I had no idea her sword was linked to the phoenix; otherwise, I would have created a black burning phoenix instead. So, I settled for a dragon, because it was aweso looking.

And it worked like a charm.

A bunch of fools really bought into the idea that Yuki had ascended to a new level.

I bet they were itching to ask her how to unlock the hidden potential of their powers.

Unfortunately for them, there was no hidden potential to begin with. It was all just an elaborate lie on my part.

"How can I take the test?" Yuki asked, her tone brimming with confidence. She knew I was watching her, believing that no test was impossible for her to overco.

'Good girl, I'm proud of you,' I whispered to myself, feeling a surge of emotion as I witnessed my masterpiece transform into this confident, almost arrogant, being.

I hadn't needed to use my suggestions on her; I simply corrupted her with power. And now, she shone brighter than anyone else .

"You have to touch the phoenix, and it needs to shine. That's the only way you'll be acknowledged and beco the clan leader," her father replied, explaining the details of the succession.

'That's it?' I chuckled to myself. With my power of mirage, I could even make this stone project disco lights.

Hell, I could even add hip-hop music and make this thing break dance if they wanted to.
