A loud explosion jolted the entire Yuki clan awake, prompting most of them to rush toward the central mansion where the blast resounded.
It was the first ti their mansion had been attacked like this.
Even powerful Yokais didn't dare to co here because of the number of shamans residing in the area. Moreover, the clan leader, a formidable shaman, wielded the Fire Breathing Bird Katana.
The mansion was also protected by an ancient barrier so strong that not even a missile could easily destroy it. However, after reaching the scene, they witnessed the barrier shattering.
The sight of it made everyone gasp in shock, but what sent shivers down their spines was the figure floating in mid-air alone.
It was Yuki, her swords burning with black fire and just looking at it made everyone subconsciously feel fear.
"Hi," Yuki said nonchalantly, as if she wasn't the one causing all this chaos. "Miss ?"
Her clan mbers were too stunned to even answer her question. They watched her every move, wondering what had happened to their leader's daughter who had run away.
Yuki didn't seem to care about their doubts or concerns though. She continued to hover in the air, twirling her swords around like they weighed nothing.
"I'm sure you're all wondering where I've been," she finally spoke up after a few minutes of silence. "I have reached a level far beyond my father. So now, I'm taking over this clan."
The rest of the clan exchanged bewildered glances, their confusion visible in their faces.
How could Yuki make such a bold declaration?
Whispers of disbelief circulated among them as they watched the unfolding spectacle.
Suddenly, a resounding roar erupted from the mansion, a sound that hinted at the wrath within.
"Stop your insolence!" bellowed a commanding voice from the depths of the mansion.
Following the proclamation, a blazing phoenix, wreathed in flas, shot forth, aiming directly at Yuki.
It was at least the size of two buses and burned so intensely that even the people below could feel the temperature rising.
Undeterred, Yuki lifted her swords with a calm resolve, and an eerie black fla began to materialize on it's surfaces.
"Hell Fla!" she exclaid, her voice cutting through the tension like a sharp blade.
As she swung her sword, the black fla transford into a surge of dark energy, a formidable manifestation of her new strength.
The dark power of her attack cut through the air, an unstoppable force leaving nothing unscathed in its wake.
Everyone believed their clan leader would erge victorious, but reality proved otherwise, shattering their expectations.
The fiery phoenix, once majestic and imposing, succumbed to the powerful assault of the black flas, disintegrating into embers.
It was a one sided clashed.
But, Yuki showed no sign of contentnt. If anything, her determination intensified.
The black flas continued to swirl around her swords, as she maintained her offensive stance. The potential consequences of her unleashed power beca apparent — if she didn't stop her attack, it could extend beyond the phoenix, endangering her father's life.
Her father, now exposed to the impending threat, stood frozen in shock. The clan mbers, torn between disbelief and fear, could not tear their eyes away from the unfolding drama.
"Give up now, Father. I'm much stronger than you," Yuki confidently stated. Her sword's power was way more than she thought, and her new master said it hasn't even shown its real strength yet.
"You insolent girl. Do you think that by having this much power give you the right to talk back to !" Yuki's father shouted in anger , he could not believed that her own daughter would embarrassed her like this.
Yuki felt surprised by her father's reaction. She nearly lost her composure, but then a whisper in the wind caught her attention.
She straightened up, appearing more imposing, as if that whisper had given her the confidence.
"This is the reason why you fail to awaken the true power of your sword. You are too arrogant, father," Yuki replied as she raised her sword in the air again.
"Let reveal the true power hidden in our weapons," she declared. Then, she focused her breathing before uttering a single word, "Manifest!"
The sword began to vibrate, its tal surface shimring with an otherworldly energy. In real ti, it started to disintegrate into tiny particles, each glinting like polished steel in the Moonlight.
But instead of vanishing, the particles rearranged themselves, lding together in a srizing dance of tal.
Slowly, the form of the sword shifted, its edges elongating and curving like the graceful arch of a Gothic cathedral.
Its hilt morphed into sinuous coils reminiscent of wrought iron, intricately detailed with swirling patterns. With a low hum that echoed through the air like the tolling of a distant bell, the transformation continued.
The tal twisted and reshaped until it no longer resembled a re weapon, but a creature of legend.
A Dragon!
The dragon's body was sleek and muscular, with scales as dark as night, yet shimring with a tallic luster that hinted at its otherworldly nature.
Its long, serpentine neck arched gracefully, crowned with a head adorned with sharp horns and piercing, intelligent eyes that glead like molten gold.
Massive wings, reminiscent of the sails of a grand ship, unfurled from its back, casting intricate shadows on the ground below.
Each wing beat with a powerful yet graceful rhythm, stirring the air around it with a sound like the rustling of ancient manuscripts.
"GRRRRRRR!" The dragon's mighty roar reverberated through the mansion, shaking the very foundations of the buildings.
It was a sight none of them had ever witnessed before—a weapon transford into a mythical creature?
"What is this ?" Yuki's father could not help but stutter after seeing the black tal dragon .
"This is the true power of our swords. We've been wielding them wrongly all this ti, and my sword has chosen to reveal the truth," Yuki proclaid.
"Now, tell , father. Am I really unqualified to lead the clan? Is there anyone here who can surpass ?" she asked with authority.
