"What are you?" The blue energy's voice echoed in a way that didn't sound like either a man or a woman. It was more like dozen of people talking at the sa ti.
Adam did not reply imdiately, and just remained still. He was glowing softly in blue light, not as bright as the blue humanoid, but his veins shimred with a faint glow. It was as if the lightning he had absorbed was rging with his body, becoming a part of him.
"Negative, the alien life form has no authority to ask any question," Adam replied firmly.
"What are you?" It repeated the question again like a broken record. At this point, I was starting to believe it was the only words it knew.
"Negative, the alien life form has no authority to ask any question," Adam replied again.
'Fuck this shit, do sothing instead of just talking. Use that power of yours!' I wanted to shout at them for moving so slow.
SWOOOOOSH!
The blue humanoid finally made its move. With one smooth step, it closed the gap between Adam, Eve, and itself.
'Finally so actions !' I chuckled.
It moved so fast that they barely had ti to react. Its hand shot out toward Adam's head, aiming to deliver a chokehold, but before it could reach its target, its montum was stopped by an invisible power.
Then, Eve dashed towards Zen, quickly grabbing him for protection before leaping backwards.
anwhile, Adam raised his palm and touched the blue energy being's forehead, anticipating it would be unable to move.
However—
CRACK!
The restrictions on its body shattered, and its hand sliced through the air. With only a split second to react, Adam twisted his neck to dodge, then countered by punching the blue humanoid in the abdon, sending it flying.
That punch might have seed simple, but its impact was so strong that it warped the surrounding space slightly. That's right, the punch actually affected space itself.
SWOOOOOSH!
Adam wasn't finished with his attack yet. He bent his knee and propelled himself forward to follow through.
Eve, noticing Adam's movent, also tried to catch up while carrying Zen in her hands. But before she could even get close, she was forced to dodge sideways as Adam's body flew towards us.
With a powerful force, he crashed and tore through multiple walls until his entire body was ejected from the spaceship. The blue humanoid must have been furious.
SWOOOOOSH!
A streak of blue light flashed past us as the Blue Humanoid was too hell-bent to crush Adam , that it chose to ignore Eve and Zen entirely.
"Follow Adam, Eve!" Zen commanded.
"Confird," Eve replied, and she also propelled herself out of the spaceship.
She demonstrated her ability, creating a barrier reminiscent of the glass structure that once trapped my grandfather—sorry, that old ungrateful man. This barrier served as a protective bubble, preserving Zen's life in the vacuum of space.
Consecutive noiseless explosions erupted.
Unlike in the movies, there was no sound in space.
The sounds I heard before were rely vibrations caused by shockwaves within the spaceship. Now, out of the spaceship, there was no dium for sound to travel through.
The battle between Adam and the blue humanoid caught the attention of the other blue entities, and one by one, they started coming toward us, surrounding the entire area.
At first, I thought they were planning to overwhelm Adam with their numbers, but they remained passive observers. Their expressions were filled with amusent as they watched the fight unfold.
To them, Adam didn't seem like a real danger.
They were confident their companion could easily beat him. So they just watched the fight with relaxed deanor, sure that they would win in the end.
In real ti, Adam mirrored every skill unleashed by the blue energy being, each move making him stronger and more formidable than before. The intensity of their clash was heightened by the zero gravity environnt, their movents blurring with incredible speed because there was no frictions, or air molecules that could slow them down.
It was a sight to behold, one that would have been impossible for Zen to fully see in real life. But, as a re observer within his mory, I had the privilege of witnessing the mont like a recorded video.
Little by little, I found myself learning a great deal. Both fighters used their powers in ways that made mine lacking . I saw so good combination that I could incorporate on my own skill sets.
Bolts of lightning ford a net, attempting to trap Adam, but he effortlessly countered the skill with an equal amount of energy to break free. This required a lot of computing skills, given that the lightning ford almost instantly.
I didn't even know that was possible on a fucking lightning, but he made it look easy.
In attempt for a surprised attack, the blue humanoid teleported behind Adam. I thought it was over, but he managed to copy the skill and teleport as well.
What's more, Adam improve on the power he copied, like his mind was fine-tuning it. His teleportation was even faster than the blue humanoid .
However, despite his fast growth and ability to copy skills , the blue humanoid remained incredibly strong. It didn't even flinch when Adam pierced countless holes in its body; it simply regenerated without a care.
'How's he gonna win?' I wondered.
Adam was getting stronger every second, but even if he beat this opponent, he still had to face the other blue humanoid. It was a tough fight ahead, and I was curious about his plan.
The battle raged on, with both combatants unleashing a torrent of power. Light, shockwaves, lasers, gravity manipulation, even black holes—the sheer variety of abilities on display was staggering.
It felt like the blue humanoid could make up its powers just by thinking about them. Similarly, Adam only needed to see an ability once to copy it.
It was a powerful showdown between two monsters.
