"Hahahahaha!

Limitless! The 12th and 13th Secrets! The Highest Wisdom! With this body, these abilities, I can attain it all!

Mithras! To think you were sitting on such power and potential all along but failed to let it loose! My most exaggerated evaluation still didn't do you justice. Splendid! Splendid! With this foundation, how can I not build…my paradise of wisdom?" Drunk on Mithras' blood and soul, Marcus ambled through his collapsing temple, testing his new powers with random feats of divine might.

The Nerva King's templar rank and Sid level increased with each step, the flux of solar energies so overwhelming and tyrannical that Marcus' soul threatened to lt alongside his flesh and bones!

If not for the Weaver's boons and the Beast's assistance, Marcus would have evaporated on the spot, wiped out by Mithras' Inner Fla. Even now, he barely held on, one mistake away from certain death!

He had to stay focused. Still, Marcus had never felt more excited! For now, he could see them. The path, the tools that'd enable him to achieve his dreams and build his fantasy. He had them all in his grasp. There was no need to find a worthy leader to entrust his hopes to.

He could be that worthy leader. He could lead a generation of sages!

"Yes, who better than Marcus can lead the Empire of Humanity? It is my God-given duty! My fate—my destiny! Don't you agree…dear wife?" Marcus' eyes stretched impossibly, shining with solar rays as mories of his mortal wife flashed through his mind.

Wait, wife? Strange, why was he rembering his wife now? Tens of thousands of years had passed since he last had her in mind. He didn't even want to rember her face. Afraid that the mory of her smile would remind him of his mistakes.

Usually, Marcus could always suppress those mories. But this ti around, he failed. A replica of his wife taking shape before his trembling eyes.

Replica? The real thing? Why not? Today, I have obtained the Sun and Beast's Authorities. With my current powers and abilities, why can I not bring back my mortal wife? Yes, it doesn't have to be a dream.

I just need to reach out, snap my fingers, and I will turn this illusion into reality.

No. That won't work. I am dying. My struggle has ended, and my life candle fades.

It's over. I am…dead.

Tears trickled down Marcus' eyes, and he reached for his wife's cheek, his eyes glued to her smile as his body burst into a bright golden blaze.

"In a ti when noblewon were expected to run the house, you followed through the trenches. Enduring the sufferings of a soldier with the soft touch of a lady.

Where did it all go wrong? If I could turn back the wheel of ti and backtrack to the day we t, I'd fix all my mistakes…and give us a better end.

But ti doesn't look back. It don't ever, do it? So, all I can is say sorry to your ghost…and wish you luck in the afterlife." Marcus whispered, becoming sparks and ashes as he perished…decimated by Mithras' Solar Genesis!

Mithras reford where Marcus stood a mont prior, his injuries healed. And his soul unmolested!

A gold and scarlet sun flashed between Mithras' horns; its light reflected in his violet eyes as he swept the Temple of ditations.

Above, the Worldbreaker hamred through the Weaver's Destiny Beast, shooting towards Mithras in a murderous frenzy!

He didn't bat an eye, extending his right hand with his palm aid at the falling hamr.

The Worldbreaker didn't connect. Stopping an inch away from Mithras' palm before resuming flight, circling Mithras' fra like a hyperactive toddler.

"Poor child. I know you're still mourning them—especially Radu. I miss them too. My brothers…and now I've lost so more. I can't bear it," Mithras whispered, stroking his ebony hamr with a lancholic tone.

The Great Slting Hamr appeared and fused with the Worldbreaker, the two recast through Mithras' Blood Slting Art to reach their final iteration:

The World Slting Hamr!

anwhile, within Mithras' soul, the Beast found itself bound by a lion-headed serpent tree, paralyzed and turned into fuel by Mithras' Soul World!

"What is going on? That he fought back and hijacked Marcus from within I can believe. But this…the Limiter…he has broken the Limiter and Unlocked his ntal?

A Limitless ntal. Exploiting his soul is now impossible." The Beast processed the series of flabbergasting moves that Mithras had executed under his very eyes.

Sacrificing the Fylkirs' souls to suppress the Beast. And using Marcus' mories and love for his wife to decimate him from within. Masterfully executed. And now the Beast was fucked.

The Beast being trapped in Mithras' Limitless Soul World was even worse than Heruka in his Mandala. There was nothing he could do—absolutely none. All the Fundantal Principles combined wouldn't be able to break the walls of Mithras' limitless Soul World.

Mithras had lost his daily Blood Potency boons and exhausted most of the Lord's Tears. But in exchange…

[Ding! Ding! Ding!]

[The host sacrifices the souls of the Fylkirs to suppress the Beast and Unlock his Limiter! The Host's ntal is now Limitless, aning that his Sid level, mantras, divine power and secrets can progress infinitely!]

[The host's soul is semi-perfected!]

[Please Perfect Your Soul!]

A series of system prompts rattled Mithras' mind. And with a deadpan look, he manifested in his Soul World, appearing before the Beast.

He regained his original shape, expanding alongside the lion-headed serpent tree to beco a gargantuan sanguine dragon.

But so what? He still couldn't break free.

"Dear mini . Gonna call you Mimi B. Mimi B, when I said I would administer the Beast's justice, I wasn't referring to you.

My bae of a sis says it best. The King of Monsters only has one na, and it belongs to . Honors, privileges and duties also fall on my shoulders. So, what's left for you? Nothing. Making you unnecessary…and obsolete.

That's a lot of useless for soone squatting my soul. So go ahead and die. My soul is starving," Mithras said in a nostalgic voice, and raised the World Slting Hamr, sanguine shards spiking out as he swung at the Beast's heart!

One rumbling blast, and a massive hole ripped through the Beast's chest, the most ancient of monsters tumbling down with a gaping hole in his chest.

Forced back to human form, the Beast stared in fear and horror, blood pouring from all orifices as recoiled in his shackles.

Gold and sanguine mist undulated Mithras' form, the Decimation Skill taking a new form as Mithras grabbed the Beast by the collar, hoisting him up for judgnt day.

"Impossible! I am a mber of the Triumvirate! —not you! Only I can decide my ti of death! You…can't possibly…it's my skill! My power…why—oh no…we are…Veridi?

It was you. My enemy was never the Weaver. From the start…it was always you!" The Beast realized at last—a step too late.

Mithras' lips curled, an endless burst of infernal power erupting from his eyes as his miniature sun turned black and white.

"Indeed. Usually, the Honorable Twin seals the Dominant Twins' mories so he can cross his tribulations without disturbances. But in our case, I sealed a part of yours so I would always be one step ahead of you.

Had I not, you would have probably figured it out a very long ti ago. And I would be dead.

Tough luck.

Mimi B, you have enjoyed your Last Honor and reached the End of your Path. Whereas I have just crossed my Last Tribulation. The Dominant Twin now eats the Honorable and achieves his Final Iteration.

The Sun, the Beast, the Devil. Add a Morning Star nickna in the mix, and you can't tell my sis and I didn't set it up beautifully."

"MITHRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS!"

"Be not afraid. My future has no room for the Weaver. Your wishes will not die with you…for I shall fulfill them. So accept your death with grace, and beco the stepping stone…for my apotheosis." Even as his triumphant words echoed, Mithras' eyes stayed lancholic—undertones of strain and exhaustion hiding in his voice.

His fangs sank in the Beast' neck, decimating him forever. He didn't have to use his fangs. That…was rely to make a point.

A point to himself.

Solar Genesis and the World Slting Flas harmonized in Mithras' soul. Dual tongues of black and white flas lacing his hamr as a pearly gate opened in the ruins of this once dazzling temple.

[Hidden Achievent: The Devil...unlocked!]

"Oh my, if you really knew the person inside, you might run away. So, I hide the devil behind the mask, and laugh to pass the day."

"Oh my, if you really knew the devil inside, you might run away. So, I hide myself behind the mask, and laugh to pass the day." Mithras sang a tune long forgotten—vanishing from the collapsing temple.

It faded the mont next, bursting into smoke and rubble.

"Words only have the aning we assign them. Case in point, 'Monster' was initially a word reserved for creatures so beautiful their smile could enchant the Devil—for Mithras' creations.

And rightfully so. Dragons, the Wrathful Gods included, were the original "monsters." Born from Mithras' blood and organs. It is only after the Beast's awakening and our first war that "Monster" took its current aning.

So to it was always obvious…that Our Will was using as a decoy to gaslight the Fundantal Principles. It made so mad. In a world where the Sun can beco the Beast with supre authority over n and monsters…why would the Weaver beco The Devil?

No, it was his—that was always HIS destiny! Enjoy exclusive chapters from m-v l'e|-

Lord, did you know? Were you aware that the Devil's Host—the Devil—is none other than your First Devotee?

None other…than Mithras?

I really hope you didn't know. Unlikely but Lord I swear I hope you didn't…for if you knew…if you knew and loved him regardless…I don't think I will be able to stop myself…from wiping out my universe." The Weaver blanked out.

Mithras' Revelation such a disastrous blow that he started spreading calamities at random, making a ss of the Higher Planes, and causing all Fundantal Principles to co out of hiding.

Still, the Weaver didn't care. For once…he really couldn't care less. And who could bla him?

If the Lord could predict that the Weaver would degenerate, how could she not tell Mithras' true destiny? She knew. Of course she did. She knew and still set him right back on the course…to complete his awakening. Helping him beco...her executioner!
