Chapter 467: Chapter 221 Farewell (5K)

The Golden Dharma Image swung the Dragon Spear, uprooting the Divine Tree along with its roots.

The crisscrossing and horrifying roots were thus exposed under the starlit sky, each root bearing a head that was screaming in agony.

The screams of hundreds of heads echoed through the valley, all of them flesh sacrificed by the Withered!

At the sa ti, they were also the reason why the Withered were immortal. They had beco part of the Divine Tree, and as long as these heads at the base of the tree existed, they would not die.

At that mont, as the Dragon Spear crashed down, clusters of heads burst apart, and those Withered in the ruins also perished amidst wails.

So Withered struggled, so fled, so begged for rcy, and so felt relief.

In the end, they all turned into nothingness.

The Divine Tree suffered horrific damage as the Dragon Spear stabbed into the tree hollow, forcefully gouging out an eyeball. It exploded directly into a pool of blood mud.

Thereafter, the Dharma Image dropped the Dragon Spear, both hands reached up, grabbing the tree hollow and exerting force, tearing open the body of the Divine Tree amidst its terrified shrieks. The eerie flesh and fibers inside the Divine Tree were destroyed and crushed.

Afterward, Li Yelai dissolved the Dharma Image, switched Faces, activated the Overlord’s Double Pupils, picked up the Red Gold Mace, drew the Golden Bone Sword, and comnced a more efficient dismbernt.

It was unclear how much ti had passed when the blood-covered Li Yelai chiseled open the core of the Divine Tree.

After pulling out a crimson gem the size of a pinky finger, the Divine Tree never made any more movents.

Li Yelai looked indifferently at the red gem in his hand, feeling a powerful force emanating from it.

But with the Double Pupils, even such an extraordinary item had visible weak lines. Li Yelai swung his sword and split the very remarkable red gem, only to discover that the fragnted gem instantly liquefied and rapidly healed.

Seeing that it couldn’t be destroyed, Li Yelai stopped trying and instead picked up the Red Gold Mace and unleashed the Fire Bifang!

A giant firebird took flight, circled in the air, and then dove down, igniting everything.

The remnants of the Divine Tree, the corpses of the Withered, were all consud by fierce flas.

Putting an end to their last chance of resurrection.

The flas soared, illuminating the valley, but they could not light up the gloom in Li Yelai’s heart. He didn’t feel any pleasure from avenging a great wrong and was still consud with intense hatred.

However, at that mont, Li Yelai heard the sound of friction from the dirt.

“There’s more? Good!” Li Yelai picked up the Dragon Spear, his killing intent boiling. The fire of his revenge had not yet extinguished!

But when Li Yelai turned around, he saw three won with swollen bellies dragging each other out of the ruins; they were not Withered.

They were two human won and a female angel, their clothes tattered, their tendons severed, the angel’s wings had been pulled out from the roots. The two won were twisted in various degrees.

They had already twisted.

They crawled out from a deep house in the village, their bodies were scarred from rubbing against stones, but they steadfastly crawled toward the fire.

Li Yelai’s expression stiffened, he knew who these people were—victims captured by the village to be used as tools for reproduction.

At that mont, one middle-aged human woman spoke, “Are you human?”

After a mont of silence, Li Yelai slightly nodded, his voice sowhat hoarse, “I am Ye Boshou, Night General from No. 3 Border City.”

“See, I told you, in the end, it would be our human fellows who would liberate us.” The woman said to the angel with a smile, “You Forbidden Zone Creatures really can’t do it…”

“You are twisted and still call humans your fellows?” The female angel sneered before plunging headlong into the flas, letting out a cry of pain yet liberation, dying in the fire.

The other woman spoke, “Ye Boshou… please don’t mind, those bloodlines that shouldn’t have appeared, we’ve already dealt with them for you. Thank you for leading away all the Servants… allowing us to see the sky once more…”

She then pulled out a bottle of dicine from her bosom, clearly Li Yelai’s lost Jing Family special potion.

She placed the potion on the ground, then crawled towards the sea of flas alongside the other woman.

As the flas engulfed their bodies, they let out relieved laughter. They had endured years of abuse here, their bodies twisted, yet they were still to be used as breeding tools by the village, even death beca a luxury. Now, Li Yelai’s appearance finally liberated them.

“Thank you for conducting our funeral.”

“I can finally die…”

Li Yelai silently watched it all.

Eventually, he picked up the potion, collected all the Spiritual Ability Equipnt, washed the blood off his body beside the river, and headed towards the Great Snow Mountain.

The fierce fire continued to burn behind him, casting his shadow larger and larger.

The revenge was over, it was ti to et his father. They still had a lot to talk about…

Li Qiong felt very tired, very cold, very painful; he wanted to return imdiately to his children and his spouse.

But he no longer had the strength, leaning helplessly against the cold wall. Eventually, he succumbed to endless darkness.

However, in that endless darkness, Li Qiong heard the resounding sound of a horn.

The horn sound awakened him from the darkness; as his vision gradually cleared, Li Qiong saw a cave lit by oil lamps and a young man sitting across him.

The young man was also leaning against the wall, wearing thick winter clothes, with a faint sll of blood emanating, holding a black horn in his hand, with several Spiritual Ability Equipnt and a broken backpack placed beside him.
