Chapter 426: Chapter 203: What a Coincidence
Heavenly Thunder was infinite, like the wrath of Heavenly Gods, intent on scorching the land to cinders!
Yet, in the face of such a fearso Heavenly Tribulation, the Forbidden Zone Legion did not shrink back.
They bravely charged forward, each step filled with courage and determination. Each advance ca with the cost of comrades swallowed by Thunderbolts, turned to char.
But they did not halt; they crossed over the bodies of fallen brethren, brandishing their weapons toward the enemy.
To compose the prologue of that glorious epic!
“Activate the Lightning Avoidance Runes! Draw away the Heavenly Thunder!”
“Connect the rune circuits, form a Spiritual Energy barrier!”
“Engage all defensive runes! Charge, charge!”
“Get close to him! Cross the Thunder Pond!”
“Even if we land but one blow, we can drain his Spiritual Energy!”
“Charge!!!”
“For the Heavenly Kingdom! Charge!”
What an awe-inspiring scene it was, countless soldiers undaunted by death, charging into the Thunder, sacrificing their lives to create an opportunity for the angels.
“Follow !!!”
A Knight clad in Golden Armor roared; he was one of the few powerhouses within the Forbidden Zone Legion, an Awakened Spirit User of the Third Awakening.
Although this was his limit, unable to step forward again, he was a significant figure among the Servant Army.
Wielding his weapon, he faced that fearso enemy. Comrades fell around him, but by virtue of being a Spiritual Ability User and so luck, he dodged several Heavenly Thunders.
Thus, he beheld that demonic figure.
The Demon held a Thunder Blade and a Black Gold long spear, standing atop a mound of soldiers’ corpses, the massive Thunder Blade spinning, easily slicing through soldiers by the score.
But as a result, the Thunder Blade dissipated! And that presented the chance to strike!
“Kill!!” The Knight shouted furiously, unleashing his ability, the Path of Babbling, the sounds of wild ravings!
His muscles swelled; his blood ward at this mont. Speed enhanced, attack enhanced! He exceeded his peak state!
His rune treasure sword activated, flas ignited intensely, he leapt forward, his treasure sword slashed towards the Demon! Displaying his boundless courage!
All his comrades had fallen behind him, and he resolved to inherit their will, to slay this Demon!
If this were a tale of legend,
then by appearance and deanor alone, Li Yelai would seem to play the villain.
Li Yelai’s looks were naturally handso, but inconsequential next to the celestial beings like angels.
If the Insect Master’s flawless visage scored 99 points, then these angels would all rank above 90.
Beauties with significant charm like Dolls and Cheese, amid angels, stood at only average beauty.
The entirety of the angels, beautiful n and won, seen as protagonists of any story.
Whereas in temperant, Li Yelai now boiled with murderous intent, standing atop piles of bones, with several bodies impaled on his Black Gold Dragon Pattern Spear. One glance at him seed to reveal a mountain of corpses and a sea of blood. To the unaware, he might be mistaken for a Divine Chosen of the Blood God of Chaos!
The angels, however, were pure and compassionate, possessing an untouchable nobility.
It was clear who played the villain.
In a legendary tale, this Third Awakening Knight would overco trials, vanquish the enemy, and behead the foe.
To receive endless glory and praise. To garner the pity of the angels, rise to be a Great Noble, even ascend to beco a new angel!
And the Forbidden Zone would herald his legendary tale. He saved the angels, vanquished a powerful enemy, and stood as a legend for all Forbidden Zone Humans to emulate.
This would be inevitable; should he slay Li Yelai, he would attain a status superior to i Wu’s! Perhaps even becoming a disciple of an Overlord or a Supre!
Alas, this was not a tale, but the grim reality!
Before his treasure sword could fall, the Demon, or rather, Li Yelai, had already swiftly moved past him without the slightest pause.
Due to inertia, he continued walking a few steps forward, eventually kneeling, his head drooping to his chest, his neck pierced, leaving only a strip of skin connecting his head… the next second, his body was consud by the Thunder.
To Li Yelai, a Third Awakening Spirit User was truly nothing more than a one-spear affair.
Li Yelai activated Swift as the Wind, bolstered by six hundred Shadow Army Light Cavalry, his speed faintly surpassing that of a blonde angel using Spiritual Ability Equipnt and abilities, the re Third Awakening could only glimpse a fleeting shadow before being penetrated outright. A complete crush in terms of speed!
Li Yelai had already launched his attack before the weapons could even be raised!
At this mont, Li Yelai demonstrated his fearso combat prowess!
In the face of the Thunder Zone’s wide-scale attack, the Forbidden Zone Soldiers who dared enter were falling in droves. Only a few elites paying a heavy price, battered and bruised, approached Li Yelai. But they were no match for Li Yelai’s spear.
They couldn’t effectively drain Li Yelai’s energy.
But they did manage to trouble Li Yelai sowhat, as a multitude of runes flickered and constructed of Spiritual Energy managed to slow Li Yelai’s pace.
This was a mysterious technique unique to the Heavenly Kingdom, the Legion, when united, could unleash a considerable Spiritual Energy reaction, but it only served to delay, after all, they couldn’t react much before being struck by Heavenly Thunder, unable to form ranks under the Thunder Cloud, their power greatly diminished.
At the sa ti, Li Yelai also realized that the Forbidden Zone Soldiers who died under the Thunder were not, as he had expected, consud by shadows, increasing his Shadow Army. Only those slain by his Thunder Blade or Black Gold Dragon Pattern Spear were consud by shadows.
‘So that’s it, because the Thunder is not my power, but the Thunder Cloud condensed to punish . Those struck down by it can only be considered collateral damage. Their death has a causal link to , but no direct connection. Unless I can freely control where the Thunderbolt strikes the enemy, only then can it count as my kill?’
