In all his life as a rogue and struggling sage, he had never seen any wind affinity mage user, use wind barrage as a ans of escape.
A word was formulating in his head concerning Tim but he pressed the idea down vigorously. There was no way that he would accept such an idea.
Idah pressed his foot on the ground and bent slightly, gathering montum and in an instance he accelerated of the ground and towards Tim that was sent really high into the sky.
He needed to be on the offensive, and he definitely had no plan of giving Tim, breathing space.
Tim on the other hand was still shocked that his idea worked. Looking at Idah’s sword light approach him, his burrowed and personal experience quickly formulated an idea and surprisingly it worked.
Looking at Idah that was accelerating towards him in the air made Tim smile widely. Yes, this close combat that Idah was bringing to him was fun.
Spreading his hands wide, Tim called out a spell " Gale Smash." Imdiately he invoked the spell, by calling out its trigger condition. He smashed his spread out hands together.
And just as the skill explained, a dangerous compressed, column shape of wind smashed towards Idah that was arriving at Tim’s destination in the air.
"Sky Wind Piercer." Idah said, as he entered a weird shape. Instantly releasing 10 slashes of thin condensed aura towards Tim’s attack.
FWOO
The attacks cancelled each other and Tim was now falling but Idah was still accelerating towards Tim.
An idea popped in Tim’s head to challenge Idah with his thorns, like a samurai battles just like the movies, but Tim quickly squashed the idea.
Because, with that blue energy that engulfed Idah’s body, he doubted strongly if his blade would be able to withstand the force of even a casual swing.
Idah arrived 2 ters away from where Tim and he was going to intersect. So, he prepared himself for their clash mid air.
Tim on the other hand had already squashed any idea of a clash with a sword user. He still did not want to test it out whether he could regrow limbs or not
Taking a deep breathe, he released another Gale Smash spell. Smashing his hand together to add more force to his attack.
FWOO
The massive narrow attack, accelerated towards Idah. With shock in Idah’s eyes, he quickly sent out a burst of untad aura. This burst of energy changed his direction mid air.
Making him dodge the massive attack that was sent towards him.
BOOM
The attack missed and crashed on the ground, forming a crater on the ground which signified how compressed and powerful the attack was.
Idah landed on a tree, while Tim had to stab a thorn to a nearby tree to avoid the fall damage that he would have received.
It was a stale mate between the both of them which shocked Idah. It was just too crazy.
He and his group had just t Tim so hours ago and at the mont he was the last man standing and in a stalemate with a teen elf.
He did not like how the battle was going, moreover he was already getting low on stamina. He had previously fought Ottis, another wind elental mage.
And now he was facing just another one.
Tim on the other hand was tired. He was not visibly tired but he could already feel his stamina reduce at a drastic rate.
He did not have access to mana or to be precise the body that he was transmigrated to , had a mana curse. At least that was what he thought.
The body could not access mana in the slightest, but what he was doing now was simply breaking the rules.
He was not supposed to have mana, then how was he casting mana consuming spells manually. He definitely did not feel any mana fluctuations when he casted the skill nor did he any internal flow of mana.
He just needed to visualize the spell and call its invoking na and imdiately the spell would materialize.
If he was asked to explain his situation, then he would have called it an anomaly.
With the fact that he did not have mana and that he could cast multiple spells concurrently. Tim thought that he could just go on and cast his skills infinitely, but he was wrong.
He was very wrong about his assumption of his spell usage. Tim had been in battle or a state of high energy intensity almost throughout his ti outside the dungeon.
Yet he did not feel fatigue as heavy as what he was feeling now. He had used just 4 spells and it was as if he ran a marathon.
He was tired. But it was not as if he could not cast more spells. He could cast at least 6 more spells then he figured that he would be spent and probably pass out.
So, he needed to co up with a plan to put an end to Idah. It was already late at night, but Idah could still see.
With their eyes locked on each other. Idah and Tim prepared their next moves. A move that would end their long battle once and for all.
Idah entered a stance and held his sword with his 2 hands. Placing it just in front of his body like a samurai stance.
While Tim on the other hand went through the 5 battle skills and spells that he could use to end the battle, and he ca up with sothing.
Idah’s sword now had a huge intensity of aura. Without wasting anymore ti, he accelerated towards Tim.
Tim in turn spread his hands wide. The sa situation that he used when he wanted to release his Gale Smash.
Idah not wanting to crash into that powerful spell again, changed his attack pattern to a defensive one. He was really expecting the spell, but nothing ca.
Still in motion, he closed in on Tim when Tim casted his supposed battle ending spell.
"Wind Barrage."
