"I can finally revive Carla."
When Ashley heard Evan's words, her expression froze, and her mind went completely blank for a mont.
However, she quickly regained her composure, her heart racing as she looked at Evan with a bewildered expression.
"Are you serious?" She asked, her voice carrying a mix of disbelief and urgency.
When Evan had returned from the Tomb of the Ancient and inford them about Carla's death, Anastasia had ntioned that it wouldn't be impossible for Evan to revive her in the future.
At that ti, everyone had been sceptical about what Anastasia said. After all, bringing soone back to life was no small matter—it bordered on defying the laws of nature itself.
However, knowing Evan's unique identity and the vast potential of his abilities, they had allowed themselves a sliver of hope.
Still, none of them had expected it to happen anyti soon. Perhaps when Evan reached Rank Six, or even at the peak of Rank Six, he might be capable of attempting such a feat.
But now, it had only been a few months since he had co out of the Tomb of the Ancient, and he wasn't even a Rank Four Core Evolver yet.
So hearing him say he could already revive Carla shocked Ashley to her core. For a brief mont, she even wondered if he was joking—and if so, it was a joke in extrely poor taste.
Seeing Ashley's intense expression, Evan could tell what she was thinking so he nodded solemnly and spoke in a firm tone.
"Do you think I would joke about sothing like this?"
Ashley took a deep breath, steadying herself as she felt a spark of excitent ignite in her chest.
The numbers of Dryads were very few, and Ashley knew almost all of them personally. To her, Carla, Cedar, and the other younger Dryads were like siblings and the idea of bringing Carla back filled her with overwhelming joy.
Unable to contain herself, she grabbed Evan's hand tightly.
"Let's revive her imdiately!" She said, her voice trembling with anticipation as the silver light flashed around her.
Seeing Ashley was about to teleport him away from the fighting scene so that he could revive Carla without being affected by the ongoing fight, Evan quickly stopped her.
"Wait a mont," He said gently, raising his hand to calm her. "There are a few negative points I need to explain before reviving her."
Hearing Evan's words, Ashley's expression shifted slightly. But she quickly composed herself as she knew reviving soone couldn't be a simple, straightforward process—there had to be a cost or consequences.
"What negative points?" She asked, her voice carrying a tinge of nervousness.
Seeing Ashley's unease, Evan smiled slightly, trying to reassure her and spoke in a soft voice.
"You don't have to worry too much about it. In fact, I have already devised solutions for all of the potential problems. But I need to discuss them with everyone first. This is the first ti I am attempting sothing like this, and I can't be entirely sure if the solutions I have thought of are perfect."
Ashley frowned slightly, her mind racing, but she acknowledged the logic behind his reasoning.
She knew there was little she could do to rush things. Eventually, she nodded, her attention shifting toward the ongoing "fight" between Anastasia and Sylvan—or rather, the brutal one-sided beating Sylvan was receiving.
Looking at the ongoing chaos, irritation flickered across Ashley's face.
"Damn it, we need to discuss sothing this important, but these two idiots are still fighting for no reason," She muttered, clearly annoyed.
"Why don't you go ahead and stop them?" Evan suggested in a low voice.
Ashley's mouth twitched at his suggestion. She felt the powerful shockwaves rippling from the battle and imdiately dismissed the idea with a wave of her hand.
"Let that old man take his beating. Maybe after this, he will finally start thinking straight and won't pull stunts like this anymore," She replied, her eyes glinting.
'After this beating, he will probably be bedridden for a long ti. And with any luck, he won't have the energy to send to the battlefield to collect scraps,' She thought, a faint smile tugging at her lips.
Half an hour later, the fight finally ended. Anastasia stood high in the sky, looking at Sylvan, who lay sprawled in the middle of a deep crater, his face swollen and bruised beyond recognition. Light purple marks circled his eyes, his nose was bleeding, and he lay there completely lifeless in deanour.
Evan and Ashley cautiously moved towards the crater and when they saw Sylvan's state, both of them sucked in a sharp breath.
"I would suggest you avoid doing anything stupid in the future," Ashley said in a low voice, giving Evan a side glance. "Otherwise, you might end up in the sa situation... courtesy of dostic violence."
Evan gulped audibly, nodding subtly. He wasn't on Earth anymore where he could file a report against dostic violence, and even if Utopia had sothing akin to a police force, he doubted they would dare interfere with Anastasia.
'Now I understand why won are called scary creatures,' He thought, nervously glancing at Elora. He worried that her innocent words might unintentionally land him in trouble with Anastasia.
Elora, anwhile, noticed the "punishnt session" had concluded so she quickly stuffed the remaining cotton candy into her mouth, then raised her hands once again.
"Mowther, I poked the wheys of ewigth won!" She shouted, her words muffled by the cotton candy in her mouth.
Anastasia smiled gently at her daughter, picking her up from atop the ice cocoon before landing beside Evan.
"Sweetie, tell more about these won you ntioned," Anastasia said in a soft, sweet voice, though her eyes flicked to Evan with an unreadable glint.
Evan, noticing her glance, kept his composure, eting her gaze calmly. He believed he hadn't done anything wrong and thus had no reason to fear.
However, his confidence faltered when Elora leaned close to Anastasia and whispered into her ear.
"The first woman whose eyes I poked was Father's old friend. The mont Father saw her, he kidnapped her and took her to the corner of the world where no one was around and did bad things to her..."
