"As expected of you, Laplace... You're still a tough nut to crack." Abraham remarked with a light chuckle while staring at his wife. Laplace was soone he had looked up to, after all, her power and capability as a dragon wasn't sothing he could ignore. Even standing as her equal side by side was a latent desire that had been trapped within his heart for so long.

Now, it was finally to turn it into a reality.

"Is my husband rebelling from ?" Laplace tilted her head with a smirk. The human, who'd she promised in the oath of marriage, had gotten stronger in re years. What was supposed to be a weak man who she pledged her life and his protection was slipping out of her grasped. As a wife, she was delighted, but as a dragon, her emotions was sowhat complicated.

Although there wasn't any malice within it, the dragoness found it troubleso. She had always been greedy and protected those she considered to be hers. Not only that, she was also arrogant. Her morals weren't carved into her entire being, which ant that they could be flexible in terms of what may go through her mind or not.

It was for this reason why she wasn't guilty when she had destroyed an entire kingdom within the Frontier. Her emotions regarding the problem resulted from the worry that she might have caused a lot of trouble for the United World Governnt.

"What can I say... You married a liberator." Abraham smiled and spun the Spear of Sol before pointing it at the dragoness. Laplace couldn't stop herself from grinning as her hand transford into several dragon claws. Even though she found it problematic, she was also excited about the prospect of her husband being capable in stopping her.

"I guess you are right," The mont such words escaped from her supple lips. Laplace disappeared from the spot and imdiately reappeared beside Abraham. His body was left wide open, giving way for her claws to slash at it. But before a edge of her claw could even touch him, the Spear of Sol deflected her attack while he countered with a high kick.

Laplace twisted her body in the air and dodged Abraham's counter attack with remarkable ease. Her flexible body was gorgeous and emanated an aura of grandeur. But it wasn't the end of it, a second attack pierced onward, which Abraham barely avoided by sidestepping.

The clash between the two was quick, taking place in a quarter of a second. Each of their movents caused air to ripple in waves that snapped throughout the surrounding. It was a testimony of their power, which wasn't to be underestimated.

Not wanting to be carried away by her rhythm, Abraham decided to strike the dragoness as to break whatever strategy she had in mind. But the middle-aged man failed to think that his wife was never a strategic woman. Her actions since the beginning of the fight were bounded by her instincts as a dragoness. Each clash, dodge, and deflection was done without thought.

Like a snake, Laplace slithered along the Spear of Sol, closing the distance between herself and her husband. As their distance from one another beca a ter, the dragoness threw her claws onward, only for her wrist to be caught by Abraham's hand. anwhile, the Spear of Sol had her remaining hand at bay.

"That won't be enough..." The dragoness smirked and threw a sidekick towards Abraham who was thrown back in re monts. Shooting across a couple of trees, Abraham made his landing while the dragoness already stood beside him. "Not so fast!" Without a tinge of hesitation, Laplace dashed and punched his stomach, bringing about an explosion.

*BOOM!!!*

Abraham was once again flung away, but as Laplace was about to intercept the middle-aged man. A fist already hurdled at her, behind it was the weight of the heavens and the earth. In the following monts, over a kiloter of power pushed onward, with the power of a billion tons.

*BOOOOM!!!*

When the battle was about to stay in the dragoness's favor. Abraham managed to counter attack with one of his strongest move. It sent the dragoness back, giving him the one singular mont he needed. And it was his only chance.

Rushing without any delay, Abraham appeared behind Laplace and threw another punch. Like before, it carried the weight of the world, and once again, the dragoness was flung away like a lizard fighting against the power of the surging winds. As the middle-aged man gazed towards the dragoness, a beam of destruction pumled him out of nowhere.

*BAM!*

Barely blocking it with his arms, Abraham felt the pain of his limbs burning from the heat of the beam. But he wasn't done yet. He was far from defeated. The battle had rely begun. A smile curled up over his face as excited brew within his heart.

The personal power had affected him much more than he previously expected. Perhaps his arrogance now was no less than that of a dragon. Maybe even more. But that didn't matter. What mattered was that he must defeat the dragoness before him.

anwhile, Laplace stood in a devastated wasteland with a grin plastered on her face. Her heart pounded as she was thrilled beyond her musings. It has been a while since she fought against soone that made her fear for her life. How thrilling it was for a dragon like her to finally clash against a warrior without any trickery.

Abraham pointed the Spear of Sol towards the dragoness and the point of the spear blade shimred with radiance. A brilliant light overshadowed the world as the middle-aged man casted upon the power of the sun.

A massive ray of light propelled forward in an instant, illuminating the entirety of the wasteland where the dragoness previously stood. Afterward, another glaring luster ignited in the distance, akin to an exploding nuclear bomb. Though much more powerful since it resembled the golden sun rising from the boundless lines of the horizon.

"What a monster." Abraham sighed to himself, though his instincts scread at him as soone responded from behind.
